Since there is a new filter named “Looking for Group” with a nice yellow text, the messages for friends log in/out could be transferred to this group. Right now it is located at Game Messages with green text where you can easily miss it through the big list of salvaging items, or crafting 500 mithril bars, as examples.
Or, there could be a new filter just for loot to uncheck and clean the chat panel without disabling all the game messages.

Completely agree. Or it should have its own section on the side of the Hero Panel, under Summary and above Watch list.
Yes, I would like a new section as you said, better than on the same page… which was just fine before. The way it is now is just ridiculous… Why should I scroll down every time I wanna see Recently Completed achievements?…
I really wanted a title when I finished all jumping puzzles, like Treasure Hunter or something similar. JPs are one of my preferred content in this game, still… no “reward” for this long journey…
… and currently no ascended items are salvageable which cuts down a lot on support ticket hassles form accidentally destroyed terminal/BiS gear. Opening up ANY ascended items to salvaging is one of those floodgate/slippery slope decisions they may want to just avoid entirely. It’ll cost them real man-hours on the back end.
That could simply be resolved by restricting salvaging ascended gear only by Black Lion Salvage Kit. When you use it, you know what you’re doing, right?
The way I see they could implement that new precursor system is through Living Story. They will have LS permanent, that means you have access even if you missed some episodes; it could reward you on every episode (or some episodes) with precursor pieces. When the season is ended, you’ll have all the pieces together and can craft/forge the one you want.
Since LS is account bound, you can have one precursor per season; this precursors could be account bound as well, to not interfere too much with the TP.
That is just what I suppose it could happen and I’m waiting for 1 July to found if its correct.

I thinks the reason for Megaserver is purely technical, since they’ve gone too aggressive about it. Gathering more servers together on overflow maps should lead to less active maps, thereafter less servers running at the same time and, of course, reduced expenses. Less costs on technical, more money to invest on programming (I hope). So, if that’s correct, I support this but at a point. I consider that they’ve gone too far and implemented the system where is not needed, like cities… and this is an extremely big hit for many players, which leads to less players interested in game. They try to win on one side but they loose on the other side.
Yes, I use. Thank you very much for clarifying this!
Hello!
I’m playing engineer from November 2012 and I’m pretty sure this was not at the beginning so I will submit this issue.
As an example, when I play bomb kit, I can press skill 1 and then 2 without waiting for 1 to be deployed and the game remembers and activate skill 2 automatically when 1 is done.
The problem comes when I use a Toolbelt skill like Big Ol’ Bomb and then Smoke Bomb, the icon highlights for Smoke Bomb as it will be used but when the Big Ol’ Bomb is deployed, the skill 4 on Bomb Kit is canceled.
This is the case for all combination between Toolbelet skill + Slot Skill.
I’m not a key spammer type so I would like that this issue will be repaired.
Thank you!

Another thing is the mats mobs drop at lower level maps, that are again, not rewarding as the normal 80lvl-farm maps, it should be possible to find a way to make them drop their mats depending of our level and not their levels.
If you need some wool and you only have level 80 characters, how you suppose to farm it this way? The drop rate is extremely low, but at least right now it is possible.
I’m a kind of explorer my self. I’ve done World completion relatively early with all puzzles (in the first two-three months) with my first character and I loved some chain events that I discovered then. Now I wish some new permanent content to explore, new zones, events, quests, puzzles…
With a better reward for events as you suggested, I surely be more enthusiastic to explore more in depth the Guild Wars 2 world and not feel that I lose money not doing some daily dungeons and World Bosses in my play time.
I’m completely with you on this!

Many professions have a speed boost built in, like necromancers. Mounts will just make the game less enjoyable to play. Why? It is because players on mounts tend to agro everything and run past players not on mounts and that causes issues for those players. This was very common in Rift and TERA, 2 games that have mounts.
This phenomenon already exists in game. Not just once I stood parked on a WP for some time and players travels near there followed by a mob which just stopped and start attacking me. That is just not a reason.
And I do not say that with mounts WP should be removed or reduced in number. Instead of using a Fire Great Sword to travel quicker, I just could very well to ride a mount. Nothing is changed in terms of gameplay rules. About combat, as others mentioned, a mount could have HP. If you get hit a specific amount of damage, you dismount.
This game consists on too much loading screens and if you don’t have an i3 or i5, you need to wait a lot just for that. I consider that having a mount would give so many players a pleasure to explore the world without using WP’s for short distances.
Besides that, a mount could offer to all professions in game an equal mobility, as for now, an elementalist with teleport and FGS can run two times more faster than a necormancer. Personaly, this is one of the major reasons I play a high mobility profession when it comes to World Bosses and Events.
In addition, a mount combat system will be great in GW2, I’m sure about that.
Don’t need to mention again about Gem store profitability.
I can’t get why so many people consider the inability to use more new weapons as a restriction… A restriction is that you can salvage all rings, except ascended. A restriction is when you have a Royall Pass and still kicks you out when you log in or return from PvP/WvW and you previously were in. You can use all kind of runes/sigils in forge, but not exotics!?… That’s an restriction. You can leave a dungeon anytime, anywhere using a Way Point, but you can’t use the Royall Pass in there?!… And, the biggest restriction in this game is the condition distribution system. Why should I have my dps reduced when other conditioners come in play?…
The ability to use a new weapon is an addition. You learn something new and not unlock some restriction.
And the funniest thing is … repair cost is not a restriction… and the blog name had nothing to do with what they presented today on the Restrictions blog.

Since I can’t create a new thread about Templates from GW1 in the Suggestions subforum (don’t know the reason), I will attach here my thoughts about it:
I’ll make it short and clear.
Now that trait reset will be free and anywhere, the Templates system in GW2 could work as in League of Legends: you can have one aditional page for free so you can swap between two builds freely and understand the mechanism. After that, you can unlock with gems more pages.
This way we finally can save multiple builds and load them easily while there is a new way to support the game.
Royall Terrace/Captain’s Airship not kicks you out when log in or return from PvP/WvW
Royall/Airship Pass can be used in dungeons (since you can use any WP anytime)
All Dungeon Exploration cinematics can be skipped with Escape key, or even better, can be disabled
Dungeon Story accountbound
Salvage ascended rings
Use Superior Runes/Sigils in Forge
Condition Cap removed
Account wide WvW ranks
Mini pets bank accesible from anywhere
I support this idea and I really hope that they at least will implement a kind of mark on player (like Caudecus’s Manor) when the boss is going to shoot the arrow to let you know when to dodge or reflect missile. Its really annoying right now…
There’s a simple way to avoid at least half of the kicks: make the kick system to be voted by a majority to take effect (with pro or con), not just one answer and that with only the agreement of that request.
I personally like the kit bag as a signature of engineer and I always hide the bag gear so I really don’t want that setting to affect the kit bag. If they implement a separate option to hide, I’m OK with it but otherwise, I will not.
After you queue for a PvP Tournament match, there should be a sound notifier when you can join. This is a basic need so I really don’t understand why is not yet implemented…
I haven’t found anything related to this problem and I created a new topic. Sorry if it’s already discussed.
