I have the same problem and my exceptions list does include bin. So that is not the reason. This started for me about a month and a half ago. I have been through way too many guesses as to how to fix this from the wonderful support peeps and it is still broken. My ticket is now at the don’t contact us anymore point. They obviously have no clue.

Yep i made feasts. Guess i will try leveling one of my other crafting skills.

I just tried to complete my monthly item crafting and i only have a chef who is that high up who can craft masterwork items. So i go ahead and make 40 masterwork items but see no reaction from my monthly list. So i go check it out and sure enough not a single one of them counted for my monthly total. What gives? If you look at the wiki it clearly states that consumables are considered masterwork items. If they want you to make 40 pieces of armor then it should say 40 pieces of armor.

I truly hope this is a joke. The Nazi’s DO NOT hold the patent on the swastika. That symbol is older than even the vikings use of it. It has been a religious symbol long before the Nazi’s use of it. Anyone who says it’s only a racist symbol is as ignorant as the Nazi’s themselves.

Since the patch my connection is lost ONLY when i switch characters. This was also happening before the patch but now it happens every time i switch to another character. Pretty f-in annoying.

Well now i am getting it during play as well.

for-tey ( ones strong point) is in common usage in American English and has been for quite a while. Their using it in that form is correct given what country the game was made in. That being said reporting a language issue at this stage when there are hundreds of much more important bugs and game stopping defects seems pretty lame.

Just went in game and used the sell window. Didn’t seem to be an issue for me. Sorry, not sure why it didn’t work for you. Could have just been a glitch. Hope it doesn’t last for ya.

I’m interested to know if you are playing on the lowest graphics settings since i saw another issue about a jumping puzzle where the orbs you had to jump to didn’t show up for someone who was using the lowest settings but they showed up when he turned them up. He couldn’t do the puzzle without using the higher settings. This would be badly written code and may have affected other things like this issue.

I don’t know what disturbs me more, that they are saying they haven’t done anything about this because we weren’t reporting it the right way or that that indicates they didn’t notice anything wrong with the games economy or read our messages in these forums in several sections, not just game bugs, and put two and two together.

If its true we needed to report it in game then what the heck is the point of this forum? It just makes me mad that they seem to be saying that we were all correct when we suggested they were not even paying attention to what we were saying. The economy going way out of whack should have been a HUGE clue something was wrong.

This all makes me more angry about the situation not less. If they can be this clueless about the state of their game then it shows they don’t give a you know what. The whole thing is just ridiculous. They either do not follow what is happening in the game and are relying solely on in game reports to keep it running or they didn’t want to admit they messed up so big they ruined the economy. All they had to do to keep us happy would be to have answered any of the questions about it in any of the forums it was brought up in. All they had to say is its being looked at. Instead of being seemingly clueless and telling us we are just being unlucky while the economy falls apart and they totally ignore the situation.

I’m so annoyed by this decrease in drops of even mildly useful armor items making it very hard to level my characters that today i played a game made in 1995 because it was far more entertaining. I doubt i will play this game much anymore. Was fun while it lasted.

Lol, that is funny. I have to agree with Drew. That would have been the all time remembered glitch in the game. The entire population of lions arch killed. Everyone would remember that. It would have been glorious.

The worst is when i go for vista points. I can’t count the number of times i have run past a tough npc to get to the vista only to be stuck in combat mode even though the npc in question has given up following me and even sometimes died in combat with some other player. Then i am stuck sitting there on the vista point unable to activate it since i am “in combat”. Of course its always when i have gotten to a particularly tough vista and now have to map away and come back to it. SOOO much fun.

Ya i have to agree that as i level i cannot even imagine using the necro like they are intended. The tougher the maps get the more often i find my pets useless and more hindrance than help. Match that to the lower AC and and you have a necro that i have ceased playing. She is currently a go’fer. She just collects resources. What a pointless class this is at the moment.

Mine seem to only occur when i am switching characters. It happens at least 6 times a day.

Had a weird one today. Sorry i forgot to take pic of it but i was walking in an area where there was tall grass in Plains of Ashford and the grass was bending out away from my character in a very exaggerated fashion. Like i was three or four times my actual width. This went on for about 5 minutes and then i left the area where the grass was for a short time and when i went back it didn’t do it again. Not sure if its a fluke or if there will come a time when it does it again. Looked very weird.

Actually I’m not sure you are getting what i am saying since you are stuck on the number of times you can “harvest” and the point of this thread was how many times you should be able to mine a rich ore vein. If you look at the wiki it clearly states…

“Rich mining veins can be mined ten times as opposed to three and have a higher chance to give rare gems.”

I understand what you are referring to when you mention harvesting but i am talking about how much ore you get WITHOUT a bonus of any kind. It basically doesn’t matter how many times you “harvest” something as long as this is the number of ores you get from the mining before it wont let you mine anymore WITHOUT any bonus. If there is difference in that number then there is indeed a problem that needs addressing. If its only a matter of how many times it shows you mining then its a minor issue and there are far more important issues that need looking at.

Yep i agree. There was a dev on another issue who actually said since there was no date set to put out a fix he didn’t think he should say anything in the forum. How kitten is that since our main complaints on this forum are that it seems they ignore certain problems. At least tell us if they are being looked at and if not then why. I mean do they have no one who’s job it is to communicate on this forum?

This bug is particularly annoying to everyone since you can see a ton of people looking at this thread. So the only thing silence on the issue does is make it seem like our accusations of greed over the gem market are accurate. They just seem as clueless in this regard as their team who releases patches are with bugging more than they fix.

I think there is some confusion to the number of times you guys are talking about. So you should refer to how much ore you should get instead. A rich vein should produce 10 ores and a normal one 3. That is without any bonuses from world or guild. If it doesn’t do that then there is a problem since there is nothing anywhere saying that it should be different for a particular zone.

This is no surprise to me. They have been this horrible with patches since the beginning. It’s just amusing to see how bad it gets every time. So far they have gotten consistently worse every time. I’m still not REALLY playing the game since the drop rate bug was introduced. Instead of actually playing the game and having fun i am reduced to resource hunting to make enough money so i can maybe get one or two new pieces of armor so i can advance one character to the tougher zones. Before i could just play and the armor would come in drops. Yes i am having SOOO much fun now. Wish i could go back to enjoying the game.

Well this issue is getting more serious as time goes on. I personally don’t see the point in trying to level my characters when i cannot find any armor they can use to get to the next toughest zone. I refuse to buy armor just to keep leveling. That is ridiculous and i will not do it. If this is not fixed in the next week or so i think i will just stop playing all together. I have 8 characters that i would love to be playing the game with but instead are making resource runs every hour to try and make money just so i can maybe get some armor and progress a single character. Is this the true vision of ANET? If so they can keep their kitten game.

I can now get to the character screen but still cannot log into the actual game.

I also noticed the “projected profits” listed when you sell something are not correct. When i tried to sell 250 black peppercorns at 6 copper each the projected profits should have been 1500 copper minus the transaction fee. It instead listed them at 490 copper. WAAAY off. Since then i have tried selling things and it keeps giving me the wrong amount. I have not sold anything just in case its going to give me those wrong profits instead of what i deserve.

Same here. It was downloading the update and just stayed at 0% complete so i restarted and now i can’t even get it to start to log in. Just says connection errors.

I would just like some help on a simple question i am surprised i have not seen yet. I am curious to know how to link both my guild wars 1 accounts to my guild wars 2 account or if that is not possible for some reason then how do i use the names of my characters that were saved on the second gw1 account on my guild wars 2 account? I find it ridiculous that i cannot use the names i saved because they are supposedly being used by another account. It’s my account, not some strangers. Please advise, thank you.
