Yes, well IDK about you fellas, but I keep lots of “stored materials” in my bank tabs.
yeah I figured that was going to be a nice perk, but I really wanted my BANK stuff to stack. For $10 I expected EVERYTHING to stack to 500 (thats what “ALL” implies). I mean seriously, prices have gotten out of control for what little they actually give us. >:(
Update: It expanded my crafted stuff not my bank storage. NOT WHAT I WANTED.
It very specifically says “all stored materials”.
Is there a way to get my money back???
(edited by blickquickly.4168)
Dont know where to post this since the forum “Upgrade”….BUT…..
I just bought and used the “storage expander” and it clearly didnt work. My bank spots are still only 250 max.
Any help here?
Is there a place to look at the BLTP off line? I dont need to buy anything per say, I just wanna look at all the stuff thats available with gem purchases.
THAT…..is some very welcome news indeed! I dont have the laurels or the pick and I havent done any dungeons yet (thank you worthless Necros). But just knowing I can get started and make the base item I need makes me feel like I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. 4 days till I make the first one, then I’ll see about what it takes after that!
All right! I got 4 toons whos only job it is is to open a grand chest for 2 blades a day.
BUT….I just realized I also need to get this “Spinal Blade Pack Blueprint” thing. Its only made by getting the 4 blueprint scraps. The 4 scraps seem to only come (randomly I assume) in a bag of alliance supplies. The bags cant be obtained anymore (as far as I know) except through an “Heirloom Merchant”, where every they may be. I need “Heirlooms” (how??) to buy said bags from said merchant. This is what I gleaned from Wiki. Am I crazy or is this even possible for a casual player?
On the same note, floating chat sucks too….I dont see where I can turn that off.
This may not be those other games (Warcraft included) but that doesnt mean its not a good idea. Airships for travel is really cool and Ive really enjoyed using them in those “other” games.
And while were on the subject…..Wheres my MOUNT?? Running sucks.
I have 2 other toons…maybe 3…gotta check the lvl of GF JP…that can get up to the chest for blades. Im going to start doing that for sure. Thats six a day. I can work with that. Isnt there a Living Story instance that will grant them once as well?
Thanks Nottsgman, Anything helps! Im usually on by 2pm Eastern Time, but does the server not matter? Im really still learning a lot about the game.
OMG. Leave it to a pirate to charge you for something that costs nothing! -.-
Im going back in there and slaughtering every thing/one. >:{
Laurels seem to be very difficult to get…or slow to get, frankly. I bought an ascended neck piece (not sinister) and a gold boost utility with most of the laurels I had a week or so ago, so now I have just a few. I’ll need to see about sinister stuff at the laurel vendor.
Lol. I barely know the server Im curently on. American server Kainereg or something.
Lets start with the Silver Wastes. I get the idea there is “Sinister” stuff out there to get. I randomly found a boot box and got a piece of rare feet, something Carapice or something? Neat. Im using exotic, so whats so special about that? I randomly found a recipe for a sinister weapon. Is it random low drop rates I need to get those? Also, I found a canyon where to get in costs a gold piece. An ENTIRE gold just to go in. Whats so amazing that I would spend that much to get in? Are the recipes for Sinister in there? What other cool things is SIlver wastes good for? Im a noobstar.
Thanks.
I definitely dont have 25 laurels and 15g. Lol. oh well. Guess I’ll never get them.
Want the backpack with the sword wings (or anything with wings…). So I get killing Aetherblade mobs drops these, though I have never seen it happen. Assuming the drop rate is stupid low. Also get to the grand chest at the end of the JP in GF gets you 2 a day. Whee! Not nearly worth it….I read something about a node in your home instance….or something? Whats that about and how do you know if you have it? Thanks in advance.
Hmmmmm…..I forgot to check yesterday, but I just dont remember being prompted to pay anything to change my profession.
Im completely against such a fee just for the record.
I didnt buy any fabric.
The only thing I needed to buy was a few totems or whatever. Clerics, Berserkers, Assassins, and one other sell good enough. Then again, when you dont buy anything I guess ts impossible to NOT make money. lol.
What is the fee? Ive changed my professions on a warrior toon a few times now and dont recall paying any fee.
I just leveled my tailoring from 0 to 400 yesterday using
http://www.guildwars2-crafting.com/crafting-guides/tailoring/
This is after 2 toons to 80 and one of them with a 45% world map completion. Even with all that I still had to buy a few things. The REALLY nice thing about this guide is i ACTUALLY made money with it. 400-500 will be another thing entirely, but for a couple of hours, 0-400 was well worth it.
Thanks Spoj and everyone. I’ll go over the guide. Im gonna take my Necro to 80 at least. Im at 65ish now, so why stop now? And…if groups arent going to like me, I REALLY better be a good necro. Metabattle looks good! thanks for that site.
I did enjoy PvP quite a bit in Warcraft so maybe I’ll head down the PvP/WvW path once I hit 80. I mean, I havent wanted to punch a hole in a wall for years now.
I do have a cute lil lvl10 Ele as well….Much to consider! TYTY!
….why would they make a class no one will want to group with? WTH GW2 DEVS??
….Now Im thinking why play this class at all….
Seems to me that crafting will always fall behind on your leveling or take so much farming that your eyes will bleed, so do whatever you want. Choose the one that seems like it will be useful in the long run. just my 2 cents.
Ok, so Im noob player with GW2. Ive “retired” from Warcraft, guild-run raiding and all that for good long while now. Ive been casually rolling through the game, doing quests (or hearts w/e) farming/roaming, just clearing zones using power/precision/toughness. But lately Ive started thinking hey, Im gonna be 80 eventually and Id like to start doing dungeons with pugs or find a guild….something like that and I dont want be that guy who sucks. I changed to Carrion gear on a whim, started reading up on Necros, weapons and DPS rotations, ect…and now I have one question:
What build is going to be good for the roamer/dungeoneer? I also take part in events as they come along. There seems to be an over-choice of options. And everyone has a “my build is the best” it seems. Any and all advice is acceptable. Im comfortable in and out of close combat, if that matters.
EDIT: Is the PvE guide sticky still useful after all the updates and whatnot? The post looks to be 11 months old.

I cannot use one of the two available trebuches and the one I can use, says “Cannot fire in that direction” no matter what direction I choose. WTF? Please fiX!!
I cant seem to fire the Trebuche. doesnt matter where I aim it, it says cannot be fired in that direction.
PLEASE FIX, HELP!
Im having the EXACT same problem, except I cant find anything “hiding” or otherwise, it just…stops. Please FIX!
Edit: Finally got through it!

idk, I just started playing this game and I like the greatsword just fine. I also use a rifle, the bolo CC, the might sig, the regen thing as well, and I upgrade my equipment with might gear. I just bolo-blast stuff till they get close, rifle butt them and repeat till I cant then I blow might and 100B them. Not much lives through that. Its pretty rare that I need to run away from anything. and I usually get away np if I do have to. The whole dodge and roll thing is really awesome, BTW.
