@Knkasa, I agree.
Everyone should just suggest how to “program your code” because “they’re not the easy.” That’s what the developers want when suggesting how to fix the “que” system.
Pretty good list mannnnn.
@Supcutie I support all of these words. #soloqueue
Supcutie, Zeromis, Eurantien, Physics and I tested this build pretty extensively over the beta weekend. It has a lot of of potential and is extremely strong.
It can consistently 1v1 almost anything…yes that means Chronomancer (condi or power) and corrupt Reapers/Necros and easily handle outnumbered fights. The necros I tested it against weren’t top tier but it’s a very hard build to pressure without extremely high power damage. Once you get the hang of the combo-field rotations it becomes pretty easy to play.
This scrapper build, as it currently stands, is easy to overlook compared to all the other problems with some of the other classes (i.e. one-shot builds). You aren’t seeing it played very often in queues because everyone is having fun with the one high power builds.
The reality is this build feels stronger than any bruiser we’ve seen in the meta. Yes, I mean D/D Ele and Lyssa Hambow. This would have no problem tanking any of them or any of the new specializations…regardless of how gimmicky they maybe.
It’s a complicated problem because there are a lot of different traits that need balancing as mentioned in numerous other comments before me…kinda like D/D ele which has taken over a year to “shave down.”
With all the passives set it place as is, it’s very effective and doesn’t have any weaknesses besides CCing it until it’s out of stab and stun breaks. I suggest severely toning down adaptive armor, condi damage reduction and the passive health regen. As it stands, it takes little to no effort to keep your HP up while dealing some solid DPS.
I think you need to update this. WHAT HAPPENED? Give us the details.
Have you seen Supcutie’s new mesmer guide? He’s the best mesmer multiverse and he switched to celestial shatter! If Supcutie likes it, then I think it should stay in the game. Check it out https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/mesmer/Supcutie-s-Comprehensive-PvP-Shatter-Guide/page/2#post4636435
I love your analysis of why celestial is better than rabid in your updated shatter guide. Great idea to use Krait runes for those extra stacks. That paired with scepter confusion is so strong. Thank you for leading us into battle.
ZOMG the greatest mesmer has returned with an updated guide to teach us plebs how to survive in this meta!
My body is ready. I love the celestial amulet with torment on shatter changes. Great idea!
Nessie made me post it.
Also, don’t forget, SgtJanitor is an “Apex Prime Raid Leader.” Without going much into it, mathematically, it pays to be seeding the team you’re associated with.

My good friend Kizos was shot in the stomach by Hman.
That is all.
On Foefire, usually about 3 out of the 10 DC completely out of the match.
Others experience terrible lad and awful skill activation time.
I also have this problem on other maps but mostly on foefire. It’s characterized by awful skill activation and delayed placement communication with the server. It’s like I’m in a giant WvW zerg but there are only 10 people on my map.
A friend and I are looking to join a semi hardcore guild preferably on a very highly populated server (T1 or T2).
We are looking for a guild that likes to:
-Champion new content
-FoTM 48
-Contains ranked TPVPers
-Dungeon Speed Clear
While we do not discriminate on class, we do believe everyone running more hardcore content should be optimally specced and geared. We want guild members to be respectful, friendly, laid back, and know how to have a good time. We are also looking for an active guild but one that is not so huge that guilds don’t know each other. Obviously this guild should have voice comm as well. Feel free to respond here, pm me in game/on forums, or send in-game mail.
Any response from area net?
I recently read through Neko’s (sp?) guide and am becoming more and more convinced to run all ZERKER…
I do have plenty of trinkets but I never get the berserker ones /cries. But still, you are right, I have more than enough money an resources to deck my characters out in ascended gear so I need to bite the bullet and do it (I tend to be a hoarder despite my abundance of resources).
Although I think I might opt for ZERKER, I am still willing to listen to others opinions.
The one character I have leveled up to 48 is a Mesmer. I just really like playing Ele in dungeons so I thought it might be fun to lvl it up to 48 in FOTM.
I’m still not convinced to go 95% zerker. I think maximizing crit damage is important but also surviving one-two shots is, too.
I might have to just end up going all zerker than trading trinkets out until I am comfortable. I do run pretty much 95% zerk on my mesmer but thought things might be a little different with Ele.
Before I make a decision, I would like to hear from more individuals to get an idea for the general consensus.
I have done a lot of searching and am hard pressed on finding an already existing thread.
I am looking to gear out my Ele and level him to 48 in fractals. I am fully aware that the best thing in fractals is to optimize DPS as much as possible. However, after consulting with 1 or 2 others, many do not opt in to all glass as Elementalists have such naturally low HP and toughness.
One of the gear options I’ve seen is a max if knights, berserker, and cavalier’s. The other one was all PVT armor, with berserker trinkets (excluding the back piece…PVT back piece). I also understand that gearing is a lot of personal preference. Nevertheless, I am looking to see what those who like to do hardcore PVE prefer.
If there are any other productive threads on the topic, feel free to contribute them.
