I’ve been leveling up a Slyvari necromancer in Caldeon Forest, and everytime I run through Mabon Market while the event “Find the escaped experiments and bring them back to Zaxis” is occuring, I disconnect.

  • Life Blast: This skill now scales based on range instead of amount of life force. At more than 600 units, this skill’s low value has been increased by 43%; at less than 600 units, this skill uses the old high value. Range has been increased to 1200.
  • Doom: This skill now scales based on range. If more than 600 units, it will apply 1 second of fear; If less than 600 units, it will apply 1.5 seconds of fear. This ability now lists the damage it deals to enemy targets.

Dragon boss remakes?

Not to sound like an old WoW-fanboy, but uh if we could get a Deathwing approach* combined with a meta-event boss battle to the next Big Bad Dragon, that’d be great. (I’m fairly sure there will be another one; when? I’ve no idea)


Deathwing- In World of Warcraft: Catacylsm, Deathwing The Destroyer destroyed and changed many vanilla areas of the game (as in mass terrain changes-floods, fissures, burning forests, etc.). *******He also randomly spawned in any zone, flying around, breathing fire and killing you. Out of nowhere. This includes level 1 zones up to max level zones, and everything in between.

I believe that concept-(modified)-combined with a meta-event boss battle would be a very fun experience, and something that would make the dragons of GW2 more…..camp-free?

My 2 cents.

I haven’t played in a good two months, been playing GW1 to see how why people say it’s so radically different. (I love it btw.) But sometimes a guy just wants to run around naked with nothing but a leaf over his leaf while he can jump without typing /jump.

It’s just upsetting to say the least >.<

How would you fit it in if you’re already in a 5-man group? I’m not an expert, but it seems like 5 additional health bars and boon/condition/effect rows could become a pretty unreadable mass unless you space it out. And if you space it out, I’m just not sure there’s room on the screen.

Look at GW1 party UI if you can spare a moment to google. Easily shows up to 8 people, pets, and even necro minions. Of course, the more you have, the less of the game you can see :3

I love this game. Really do.
I also rarely post on the forums unless I have a question I can’t google.

But I would like it to be known that I am very, very,very upset with the attention granted to class balance. Specifically, the necromancer’s. I look at all the other class forums as well, watch a ton of youtube videos and read a bunch of gw2guru forums, and other less prominent forums, simply to gauge how they are feeling about their class. And guess what? Necromancers are without a shadow of a doubt the most unbalanced, unpolished, and unloved class in the game. And with dam good reason, we are the most upset.

It’s not fun. At all.
Get a public test realm.
Play your own dam game.
Do something other then fixing numerical bugs.

We want actual balance changes.
Not “Now lists the correct radius (600) in the tooltip.”
Not “Now displays the correct range in the tooltip.”
Not “Updated damage skill fact to indicate the correct number of attacks.”
Not “Updated damage skill fact to indicate the correct number of attacks.”
Not "This skill/trait now properly affects/functions with insert skill/trait name here "

Those are actual balance changes. We like that. We haven’t seen that in a good five months.

So please. Give us something. And stop lying to us. We’re sick of it.

That 5th skill on DS will most likely not appease us.

So last month I think Anet said the next patch was going to be about polish, balance, and bug-fixing, and similar stuff. I was just curious, is that this month? Or next month?

I’m confused due to the release of Southshore (which I haven’t even played yet, getting introduced to that GW1 life <3)

Soul Eater - Death Shroud skill 5[suggestion]

Beautiful. Absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful. I though up something somewhat similar when I say the SotG interview, but your Soul Eater is an absolutely boon to necromancers everywhere.

The only issue I have is that Anet said that they were testing it out on the necro, and that they planned to move it to other professions. I mean, I don’t truly understand the reasoning for them to want to create a new condition, but if they are attempting to help out the necro, this is a near-perfect solution. (The perfect solution, is of course, summoning a row of 23 Flesh Golems and having them all perform a 10-second slow speed charge)

I was in the awesome new dungeon today and activating Spectral Walk after a wipe, and then slipping into the lava, after rezzing the Spectral Walk was on cooldown and so was Signet of The Locust, which I switched to after rezzing.

The other bug regards the staff AoE marker/pointer/chosen area and its combination with Greater Marks. Without Greater Marks, the Staff AoE location/pointer represents the normal radius. However, only Staff 3 displays the increased radius when Greater Marks is equipped. (Note that the actual AoE is affected by the trait; the targeting reticule does not show the increased area, only the untraited area.)

Best Way to farm Karka Shells?

I’m working on getting the Satchel of Apothecary Exalted Armor from the mystic forge and I need an insane amount of Karka Shells (180).
Where is the best place to farm them?

Also I’ve heard MF dosen’t affect increase their drop rate? Can anyone verify that?

Maybe I should expand a little bit….

If you go the gw2 wiki (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Soundtrack), there is a list of songs from the OST. Now, for custom playlists, I would like to add certain ambient songs from other composers to the Ambient.xxx playlist. The issue with this is that it completly overwrites the default ambient music; knowing what songs from the 4 disc OST go into what playlist (ambient, battle, bossbattle, city, nighttime, etc.) would allow me to keep certain original songs and remove those I don’t like, while allowing me to bring in extra songs.

And here is my question: Does anybody have a list of audio tracks from Original Game Soundtrack, sorted by the game playlists, so I can put them on the playlist (Battle, Ambient, City, BossBattle, Crafting and so on), to which the particular track normally belongs, along with bonus tracks?

I couldn’t find any informations about it anywhere :-/ I would be so happy if somebody (maybe even someone from ANet) could post it here or on wiki. I think that this kind of information would be very helpful not only to me, but also to other players. Thanks.

Hey guys, after going from condition to minion and then back to condition and then back to minion, I finally found a build that is fun for me. It is the Death Shroud & Bleed build that focuses on entering DS to Life Blast enemies to pieces with solid bleed support.
It is a 10/30/0/030 build with Scepter & Dagger/Focus with the traits
VI
II VI XI

-
II VI IX
and the utilites BiP,Epidemic and the signet that generates Life Force.

I notice that I tend to be squishy, although I’m not sure if that’s because of my gear or this playstyle (I do jumping puzzles all the time and I accidently deleted some of my good gear; my scepter right now is some karma thing from Metrica Province -_-)

The main issue’s I have are with the Fear related traits. I couldn’t think of any other reason to pick other traits, and since I realized that fear lasts maybe 2 seconds (and is applied rarely since I’m not using a staff), they’re kinda wasted. Any advice would be appreciated.

I’m thinking of getting Speed of Shadows for mobility for better kiting while in DS, but then I feel like a change for Terror would be necessary, since I got both Terror and Master of Terror to compliment one another.

And I’m going to be stacking Power, Condtion Damage and Precision. How’s that sound?

Is it possible to change my forum name? When I created my account I was under the impression that it was random, and I was really eager to just dive into the game and didn’t give it to much thought.

So again, is it possible? Doubt it is but thank you regardless
