I would say you dont go on full dmg build for leveling. Go for some survivalibity since you will be ganked by mobs most of the time

And uh, going in full berserker + 10 point in vit trait? What is your hp pool? 11k? 12k?

I can make 1-2 gold a day in wvw,, sometimes even more eventhough i have to repair my gear multiple times. The rewards you get from capping camps, towers, are more than enough to cover repairs. And the mobs there are lvl 80, they often drop ~1silver worth items to sell on TP. I usually vendor every blues and greens when my bags are full and get ~20silver. Or sometimes i save up the greens and throw them to the mystic forge to get rares. And now with the drop rates increased …… ^^ woot woot ^^

Steal from:
- a warrior will give you the whirl something skill that is good for extra dps.
- a guardian will give you a skill to interrupt your target.
- a necro will give you skill to fear nearby enemies that is good for CC
- a ranger will give you a tree to regen your health and remove condition from you
- a thief will give you a skill to stealth
- an elementalist will give a skill to slow your target
- a mesmer will give you skill to gain all boons
- an engineer, i have no idea what that skill really does, its even rarely hit your target.

What do you think? How do you use the skill you steal from an engineer? Is it really useless?

As in the real world, war requires money, huge amount of money

if thief /sleep in wvw, any enemies will be rooted to the ground for 15 mins.
If thief /laugh in wvw, any enemies will be knocked down.
If thief /shrug in wvw, any enemies will be dazed for 15 mins
If thief /surprised in wvw, any enemies will get 50 stack of confusion

I will run around in wvw with my thief like a boss

Thieves in most games have invisibility. Why do you complain gw2 thieves have invisibility.

siege can be used by everyone including enemies. so you have to make sure you destroy all your siege after using them. or destroy every siege in towers you are about to lose

Actually, in certain situations, I drop shadow refuges AWAY from me just to draw enemy fire.

I cloak with C&D, drop the SR into empty zone, run away & extend my stealth with HiS, and if able, teleport away with Shadow Step… When I look back, I see Mesmers, Warriors, Eles and Guardians literally blowing all their skills on the fake refuge… My only thought is: ‘Thanks God I’m not there’.

As a thief, i cant just pop SR whenever or wherever i need to. Theres things that need to be put into consideration. Such as, how many enemies around me, what classes are they, distance to neareat enemy. I have to make sure no one can mess around with my “little house” while im inside.

I tried the crit build and find it hard to take out a group of mobs at once. How do you play a crit build effectively? I want to know how do I play it before i decide.

Crit with sword pistol. Drop black powder then auto attack the mob. Keep standing on your black powder. You wont get hit by the mob and u will hit all the mob

For me personally, condition is not so fun to play. As Tain said, crit is more satisfying, especially when you land a clean backstab and down your enemy right away

Its been 2 days since i have this problem. Yesterday i have the 25 under water kills for my daily, i have not finished it yet then i logged to another character, when i opened the daily tab, the under water kill is gone and replaced by 50 kills. I kill monsters but its not counted, its still 0 and keep on 0 even if i keep killing monsters. So i didnt get my daily yesterday.

Today i have 50 kills for the daily, and again, i havent finished it. I logged out gw for a little break. When i logged back in, 50 kills is gone replaced by 25 under water kills. So i went under water to kill monsters. But the counter keep showing me 0 kill, the counter is not working.

So Anet owe me 2 laurel, 2 mystic coin, 10k karma, and 10 silver

I have a question about shadow refuge. If someone counter your shadow refuge, the stealth will be cancelled? Its so often thesedays when i pop shadow regufe, people will throw me out of it (pushed by a guardian or pulled by mesmer) then my stealth is just gone even if its already stack to 4-6 seconds. Then the “revealed” icon appear on my screen

U dont use death blossom for bursting with d/d. Go to stealth with CnD, get behind their back, then backstab. If u max out your power trait, you can do 3-5k dmg for CnD and 6-12k for backstab. If you pick up “mug” your steal will do another 4k dmg

what i do in zerg v zerg is i run around them and get to the tail end. try to kill one as fast as i could then get out of there. and repeat the process. i always make sure i have my shadow step ready before i get in in case i get cc’d. feels like a real assassin.
