And this has been going on for weeks if not months..
I am on Gandara, during the day we can fight some servers we mu with but like Baruch Bay is not showing up during daytime and go mayhem during the night if you check out that site at times you see the k/d is really low on BB, JS and so on because they dont fight and just go extreme on ppt in the night.. Same goes for FSP where guilds from other servers move to so they can get easy kills because they have the numbers constantly.. Nah the game is not ready for a tourney it would be fun if we get one again but it needs a hell of a lot tweaking MU and WvW in general wise..

Hi, at the moment our TS bot is not accepting any Api keys it will not respond and it removes the permissions even, this started a few hours ago i believe. Is there anything wrong at ANETs end since I dont see any msg about this at the moment I also hear and read people have problems loggin in so for that reason I come here and ask as the bot works normaly fine and should not have any problems.

Might aswell implement trojan horses… And to the person saying play pvp, WvW is to fight other fighting “people” from other servers with their abilities. Not fighting siege…Or do you need siege to kill players, “git gud” you said ?

And in all fairness siege is really not so great, the placements is easy to handle for Eles to meteor shower it or other classes that can bring them down in no time aswell. I think ballistas, trebs should only be used to destroy siege not players. I think then you can make it more interesting. But still I voted for no cannons as most of the real good WvW wants to fight people without no siege..

Fix the nightcapping as we begged for which is the biggest problem for most servers. If one server is gaining most players becuase that server is number one for weeks becuase they seem so good but the only way how they beat all the servers becuase they are blobbing in the night and other servers are not, then that shows “there” is the bigger problem and not this crazy cannon/siege stuff..

Same, and it seems when someone does crash, people close him/her crash as well.

Thank you for a response, people are pulling their hair out since hours and no reaction on the forums or anywhere else It is really bad at the moment you either hang for a hour loading and that changes to a white or black screen and thus exit your client and start all over again, or you dc changing borders or just randomly

Hi, I know it’s not a item we have to buy in the store. Because ofcourse that will never be bugged.. But for days now we have npcs attacking our friendly towers,keeps and so on..
It can not be that hard to fix something that was working can it now ?
Bother and care for the game more, you’re taking the fun out of it and if you want us to buy an expansion for 40 dollars then fix the stupid bugs including the ones that’s in for years..

Boring, rewards horrible. Not sure why this was wasted dev time on.

As a player you’ll probably never notice a difference. What does Arenanet really do for their players? PvP players had to wait ages for changes, WvW players never gotten any but useless stuff, PvE does get it’s content and loot trains and that’s about it.

The game won’t change to pay2win, besides having a big amount of players returning to see what GW2 is about, once they’ve seen it’s basically still the same game they leave again. It wouldn’t survive changes Nexon does to their games.

Edit: And yea, BnS is awesome even while playing on 300ms. =D

No you fool. PvP is dead because everyone and their mothers are running the same boring build. It’s not PvP when people don’t have to fight to win the matchup. How I admit not to care ? didn’t I make this thread because I feel bad that my team loses because of me? Re-read, They’re unranked matches afteral, and the more I play, the more I notice there are queit a few people just hunting you noobs who just love to capture points and run for the actual PvP.

Does it give progress on the reward tracks?

Honestly i’ve just played a match again, Spiritwatch… And all I notice is people running away from fights to bring the orbs to capture points, and the one holding points can’t damage me, they build purely to tank? Come on, this is not PvP, they aren’t even fighting or know how to fight on their class. This so called PvP is a joke, do they really base their competitions on this ?

WvW would deff be the choice for me if the rewards were better, for example dungeon tokens… I personally hate PvE, so it’s cool I can PvP for the dungeon tokens… but atm every game is about the same? a engineer or necro holds the point near base. while others run around trying to capture mid ? When I did happen to go to enemy’s near base point to look for a fight, I felt like the necro and engi would just run circles around their turrets/minions to hold the point, they wouldn’t really fight? or can’t fight, idk. It’s not really pvp IMO. People seem to roll those classes to hold points while not really fighting, so can’t really call that PLAYER vs PLAYER, dev’s, pls?

Either way thanks for the info, not queit sure how to enter the courtyard yet but that seem to be the better pick for me, although if no rewards are giving it just means i’ll have to to wait till arenanet adds something useful to WvW or drops capture the flag mode.

Not the whole capture the flag gamemode ?

Right now i’m still going purely for kills, but it makes me feel bad that my team usually loses because of it XD. I mean I like fighting people, you know, player vs player fights, or called PvP in other games? I don’t like playing bunker to hold a circle for my team, or fight over it against engi’s/necro’s holding them with either 100turrets or 100minions.

The reward tracks are just to good, now if we had such stuff in WvW I would go there to fight players, but considering rewards are horrible in WvW I have to play capture the flag. So yea, I was curious, will there someday be PvP here, just straight out fights ? 5vs5, 10vs10, 1vs1, ?

Ok but in the end everyone wants a legendary at some point, or a full ascended set. You don’t need it, but with that goal in mind you keep playing, and to hit that goal you do need to grind to get it.

I also don’t like to run around doing WvW or PvP in a ugly looking armor, again I don’t need it, but the game wouldn’t be fun for me without awesome looking skins, to get them I need to grind.

I could decide not to worry about skins, legendarys, ascended, but then the game wouldn’t be fun for me, so to keep the game fun, i’d have to grind. If I take out the those things and don’t bother working for them, it means the game has no content I like doing, which is looking good while killing people XD

To bored to read all of it, but IMO it’s a grind, you either grind for a legendary to look good, or good looking skins, or you grind for better stats. There’s no difference. I’ve never cared on any game to be the strongest gear wise, I work for it, grind for it, but not with the feeling that i’m going to be stronger. It’s a goal I set for myself to get, and whatever it is, skins, gears, mini’s, tonics, idc, I have to grind for it, and in GW2 i’ve never grinded so hard to get 1 skin.

It’s the content GW2 has, if it’s not a grind cause you’re not forced to do it, it means your game has no content that’s worth anything, which isn’t the case to me but that seems to be the way arenanet looks at it?

These issues + the skilllag still going on, how can it be that massive online games like LoL lag less while they’re constantly being ddos’d ? It’s 2015 for kitten sake, upgrade.

WvW has been unplayable as what you offer, either lower numbers of players being able to enter or actually work on fixing the issues.

50$ would be high, considering you pay less for the game at this time and that includes ALOT more then the expansion will have.

Also with the insane skilllag and even servers crashing in WvW, I don’t see how they can ask alot for a half working game, it also would’nt help bring people back that love WvW, if the lag doesn’t get solved and a price like that is asked to join in on the new map.

Aside from skill lag, EBG just completly crashed when 3 servers clashed. It’s a shame that the best fights are being ruined by the servers not being able to handle it, the crash showed that.
Everyone from Gandara server just got stuck, didn’t even disconnect unless manually, and now trying to get back on my character gives me an network error. I’m hoping the money that comes in from the expansion will solve these issues.

It’s a little PvE content they added, nothing else. Honestly i’ve never seen so little after all this time, they used to put content like this in once a month with changes on WvW/PvP in between aswell. aNet is focusing now on Gem store, that’s all.

Aion is probably the best example of how I would want future sets to be released from now on. The latest Ancestral outfit has about the same quality as Aion has:

Just 1 example, i’d love to have a set like that for female, but notice the quality in the set, aswell for a male char ( not sexy ) :

This is a game that has been released in 2008. The quality is way higher and also “sexier” then most sets in GW2. If you take medium sets as example, Female/Male are alot the same. Maybe now that it’s been released in China things will changed.

Take your time, things like these are bound to happen.

You guys act suprise something can go wrong ? Look at any online game released lately, on pc + consoles, some don’t even work at all. This issue is really not a big deal.

kitten anet doing ? Every spvp I join now, I ruin it for the team cause I can’t even use my skills, then after 10-15seconds, they all go at once…

Never queit got this system, and aside from me, the people I got to play GW2 in the past and recently all dislike it when it come’s to PvP. WvW it doesn’t bother me that much.

If you’re dead, you should be dead. Every finish can be blocked on each class, ontop of that, you got a fight usually still going on while people that are in the downed state are still doing damage.

Especially in fights where I come out ontop 2vs1, I usually get destroyed trying to finish 1 of the 2. Even if they’re down both at the same time it’s still hard to finish either one of them since they’re both spamming their buttons to deal damage, or to use one of their escapes.

The system adds nothing, remove it.

How will we able to tell if the refer a friend is active?
I’am asking this because of some misunderstanding on my end, it seems i read 2 versions
1) We want you to experience Guild Wars 2 and Lost Shores with your friends, so on Monday November 12, we will turn on Refer a Friend Free Trial. You will be able to invite up to 3 Friends to play Guild Wars 2 with you for free from November 15-18.

2)Everything starts, as we’ve known for some time, on November 15th. While the Lost Shores event itself won’t begin until Friday, Thursday will see the introduction of the patch and the beginning of the free friend referral period. The Lost Shores event kicks off on Friday at 3:00 p.m. EST, and the finale event begins on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. EST. The event and trial weekend will end Sunday evening.
