So, let me get this straight, i just want to check if i read wrong and don’t want to troll you.

Are you asking to have a tool that makes you, and other like-minded, be able to exploit dungeon contents (which ANet and ncsoft spent lot of time to do and test and try to un-exploit) faster?

Of course you say “you are not force to use those filters”, but how many people, even if not elitists, will not use that once they can?

It’s an MMO, that means you will find random people unless you form a group by yourself, and that’s the only way you can do your “I WANT IT THAT WAY” run.

Wherever it’s OP fault’s (playing bad) or not (they sold the spot) it’s an unacceptable behavior that is feed by the “Selling 1g path#” announces on various LFG.

I do agree that party chat shoud stay instead of vanish, and forbid the selling path thing should just cut off the problem at the root, althou there still will be people doing it, but people get robbed even if is against the law, in the real world.

On the very first video tutorial you got from log-in screen, they say “GW2 it’s a social game”, ANet is doing a great job toward that, encouraging forming of groups, banning bad behavir and foul language, etc.

They should look into this issue as well-

I approve this in any possible way.

I do agree that people are often elitist or even very rude against other people who simply has a different playstyle. (I like to play support too)

And often i’ve been save a full wipe cause of my support build.

A way to make them more desiderable would be make zerk less desiderable, more squishy (sorry for my poor vocabulary).

I had same problem and i foud a workaround:

- Get your mailbox full
- Log out and create a new character
- Log in with the new character

hope this helps

I’ve found a workaround (at least worked for me):

Create a new character, then log with it (while your mailbox is full).

That gave me the hint, and i finally did the achievement

I am trying to get the tutorial completion, but cannot, my mailbox is full.

I’ve tryied to fill it, then delete 1 message, then refill it, and the tutorial completion doesn’t work.

Just hit lvl 40

Today i ran for my 3rd time AC (I play this game from 2 weeks now, and my toon is lvl 38).

LFG looking, found a group, all lvl 80. PANIC.

Turns out i was the only one knowing what to do (story mode).
So i took the lead, explaining what mechanics and whatnot (Vet. WoW player here) and we managed to finish the dungeon almost flawless.

All in al it’s all about how any single player is wiling to contribute to the group, and what he wants to achieve with the run (story/farm/bunnies)

my tips:

- Use LFG and STATE in description what you’re willing to look for (ie: L80 speed run | noob story mode | noob farming | helping noobs | camping the starting wp)

- Whatever group you get, before start, ask and answer clearly what you know and what not.

- Be polite, you may get the chance to find good fellow players which comes in handy when you want to run another dungeon.

- Leave the party ONLY if everyone agrees to do so (seriously, whatever is your gamestyle, it kitten es people off)

- Enjoy
