I would enjoy seeing the Engineer get a focus (or other off-hand weapon) that would enable them to summon (build?) mini assault golems and/or a suicide bomb golem. Something similar to Mesmer clones or Necromancer minions.
A mace might be neat too, if only that it would let them equip http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Fixer_Upper (though I think that would be a bit redundant with the Tool Kit)
Same, I was waiting for a patch or something to fix it but now it seems the crab toss was just removed completely. I should have full completion as many times as I’ve done it but it stopped counting for a few days so I stopped until an update. Very disappointed ANet
Same, none of mine are counting >:(
That is what I thought too. After grinding the dungeon with the hopes of getting some kind of meaningful reward for 30+ hours, getting nothing, and then clicking F on a bonfire it was a very, very disappointing end to what was some otherwise good content. I’m very frustrated I wasted time grinding the dungeon instead of grinding CoF or AC for much better rewards.
The most recent patch notes state, “Weapons purchased with karma from vendors in Fireheart Rise, Iron Marches, and Fields of Ruin now have their intended skins instead of tier 3 cultural skins.”
I had previously purchased the Bladechipped shield with my character “Danuel” and eventually used a Fine Transmute Stone to make it a level 80 exotic shield. This recent change reverted the transmuted item as well to a shield appearance that I don’t want.
Can I be please be refunded a single Fine Transmute Stone so I can go buy the appropriate shield post-fix and transmute it? I don’t mind the trivial karma loss but Fine Transmute Stones are hard to come by.
As Aicha said, I too have this problem as a Human Engineer. Happened to me more than once as I tried doing this story instance a couple weeks ago too. Happened again just now. I got past it by inching closer and closer to the shore, dropping the scabbard, then getting on land and picking it up. Stupid way to have to finish the quest, but worked (though the quest is certainly bugged).
