I have know idea why you guys are all crying. You guys had a nerf, please join the thief class where they have had a nerf every update. Ele is still a great class, you guys just cant solo 5 players anymore and run away if things look bad

all this patch did for me is turn my wvw thief that I used shortbow to roam in zergs useless. This is cause I can’t be a front line fighter as I just melt and now my short bow no longer hits anything in a zerg unless its skill 4

awesome that you have 30k hp and can send back every one of our status effects onto ourselfs with just one skill. your skills just have a cool down while ours have a set amount of skill we can use in a battle and if we run out guess what? we are dead

S/D yes its actually play able but remember skill 3 wont hit anyone who moves and it is used for multi targets that are close together while d/d is used for single target damage so they can’t be compared effectively

where have you been? the stealth nerfs came first lol

my biggest issues are:
1) people complain about the thief in wvw areas which can pit a lvl 80 in full exotic vs a lvl 20
2) people watch these thief videos on youtube from months ago and are not current with our ability now
3) people complain stealth is broken in wvw when really its just a rendering issue
4) thief glass cannon is counter to all other glass cannons… learn to build

I mean really we already get nerfed every week while every other class gets a buff. Its only a matter of time till I get told sorry no thief for dungeon or sorry but in pvp your not worth it we would rather take a necro or a warrior

skip to about 3 minutes when he actually starts fighting.

all he does is press #2 and then a stealth skill when he runs out of initiative.

….and he is still killing people with those impressive tactics.

im not trying to hate, i wanted to play a thief when i bought the game, but i think the class should be more challenging than this. i would feel lame to play this class right now.

yey another person who plays a glass cannon build of something prob a ele or necro complaining they get 3 hit or some crazy thing by a thief.

lets run through the list:

1) prob wvw and he has full exotic gear to your meh gear and under leveled
2) your running with around 2k toughness and low health
3) your not paying attention and he just keeps attacking you from behind
4) da list can go on on on from here

/me sits down to wait for anet to nerf skill

at this rate the perfect thief for guildwars is one that looks pretty and dies in 1 hit from all other classes

I totally agree with its not the class being broken its just scrubs/noobs that dont like the fact that the thief kills other glass cannon builds fast and easy. With a little armor or the ability to move your guy around a little really brings the dps of the thief down a ton.
