All i know for a change i was in EB last night and watch Piken and Viz take turns in the keep lords room, Piken even went off and took a tower then came back, i wasn’t staying round to be farmed as they took ages and it was to farm us i do believe, they didn’t attack each other.

Piken, Viz yes maybe it is a tactic, pretty poor one though, sorry but SFR wins just on that.

Just 2 of us running to supply no zerg in sight i have to watch the guy in front of me rubber band all over the place, my skills don’t work, hmmm and the nail in the coffin long queues.

wouldn’t it be nice to design and craft your own armour set, instead of having a set design, i suppose they are wanting you to purchase transmutation stones, i mix and match armour, the armour posted in the original post is ugly but i suppose it is down to personal taste. This game does have some of the ugliest weapons and armour sets i’ve ever seen.

I was looking on the online WvW map of my old server Gunnars Hold.And they had zero points coming in at 2 am.They did not own a single camp. Aba’s Mouth must have gobbled everything up night capping.

The same as Viz did at the end of last round match up, with panic night capping to retain their no1 spot over Seafarers.

exactly matchup is terrible abaddon outmanning us on every single bl we feel like we are forced out of wvw

we should of least teamed up with dz, why not is it against the rukitten th dz and gunners are getting their kitten owned, i see no point in playing unless we do.

i’m back on gunners my home server after having a long stint on sor, i’m just a pug but i do notice good commanders, went back in wvw followed a HT commander and was alot of fun and that is how it should be, smiling and laughing whilst playing, this guy/gurl just had a good sense of humour and it just came across in their commanding.

everyone needs time out it sounds like for you it was getting to stressful and serious.

just type /stuck in the map chat, i know it is a pain in the kitten , been getting stuck for forever, also getting stuck in the chest in the pavilion.

At present it is unfair, so yes, on other alts should be able to choose where to put those points as well as keeping your rank, it puts me off lvlin other alts to take in wvw, because it is like you are starting all over again.

I’m curious as to exactly how often anyone escorting a Yak is called on to protect it from anything it can’t handle itself. It’s not as if you can’t hire a couple of NPC guards.

A properly specced guardian can defend a yak against nearly any single player and sometimes two or more.

What sort of answer is that? I asked how often a yak is seriously attacked, not how big an escort does it need.

All the time is the correct answer this is why it is also important to upgrade supply, i normally double then get caravan guards because yaks get killed from all sorts of foe, it is really annoying, so i will run yaks to help with upgrades normally whilst sieging up towers and doing other upgrades, as you should know yak killing is often part of dailies.

I think i’ll give that a go i really dislike levelling, don’t like crafting, but i’ll give it a go as chef/cooking is very useful to me.

Most commanders i’ve run across and followed have been pretty nice, no rude ones, yet, seem to know what they’re doing and don’t cost me repair bills as they know when to pull out and when to push forward, i do find running in a zerg boring though, so like to run supply, upgrading, siege towers up, tap siege, run yaks, you know the general stuff.

I do remember one commander shouting alot in map chat, he did say we were all useless which we all thought was funny.

I believe commander tags should be earned in wvw so these commanders know all the maps, where to place siege etc.

Anyone can farm a 100 gold it is easy, but i wouldn’t say it is at all easy being a commander.

Apparently guilds on SOR are on guild training, so told not playing for points, wish someone had told me before i wasted several gold or more, run yaks for hours, upgrade supply camps/towers, fill them with siege, you just lost a supply runner.

i can’t be bothered either.

I need mobility i need my 5 second weapon swap, have they fixed this bug no, if something is traited for it should kitten well kittening work. Very annoying.

Targeting hasn’t been fixed, the times even though i haven’t targeted a friendly, i’m on one instead of whom i thought i’d targeted.

The only good maybe the clean up of animations, but skills are laggy anyway.

I’ve had similar issues with cd’s and i’m a warrior, good luck getting them to fix it

That is because i concurred that it was when the new build hit in wvw, being disconnected from wvw i did do some pve (snickers) and low behold then 1 hour later we had a new build, one would ask ones self why it takes so long.

You really need to fix bugs like fast hands that is traited, i can’t comment how many times i’ve died to that in wvw, no point in weapon swapping to be a total sitting duck for 10 seconds, just adds to all the other totally laggy skills warrior has, is it worth playing, in my opinion not any more.

Still getting a 10 second cool down even though traited for fast hands and general weapon swap out of combat can be 5 seconds, this can get me killed when i need the mobility, just been happening recently.

While we are at it war horn often doesn’t work either, it is just very annoying.

This happens of course in wvw, yes i have to keep typing /stuck to get release, happens 9 out of 10 times when building siege worse when it is rams, wonder if it is just a warrior issue.

I’ve had this also, really bad over last few days, serious hard crash with dc so have to reboot, only seems to happen in wvw, i played for many hours pve yesterday no dc crash.

Or real tears, last night we never got past the burrows the group i was with, so i thought i’d try again today with a different group and it was so much faster, some dungeons i’ve tried with others would be enough to put you off dungeons for life, it did me for ages, so i haven’t done many dungeons even though i’ve been a lvl 80 warrior for months now, been playing more wvw.

The dungeon guild sounds like a good idea as i’d like to do more dungeons, i’m happy to change traits, armours, weapons (keep different sets in inventory) i always use food, so i’m easy.

It seems as piken was trying to take sm in the lords room we had more than just bb to deal with as vet archers were lined up on the stairs, shooting into lords room, not impressed.

Have reported this but never seen anything like it before and thought i was seeing things.

bah i’ve got well over 16k but i know they were just an invader so may of been up scaled, who knows, i do know even though i’ve got 30 in defence i get good killshot numbers from higher ranked players, the trouble with killshot though is getting it off without being noticed.

I’m tired of dying to relentless skill lag, this has been happening for a while, i first noticed lag of all kinds when culling went and over the passing weeks it has just got worse.

I don’t mean just in wvw it is in normal pve as well, skills just wont pop, jormag is a classic when i’m using banners and they just wont place.

I have over a 100Mb’s connection and running sli asus top 670’s

This for me is game breaking and in wvw is totally unacceptable and needs to be fixed asap.

Kinda disagree with OP. Kill Shot alone is worth the rest of the rifle skills put together. In WvW, it just completely wrecks.

In sPvP, it can also do really well. Consider the 1200 range of Kill Shot, combined with surprise factor. You can burst a light or medium target down to 1/4 health, and follow it up with a cripple/immobilize and the rifle volley. Couple that with On My Mark for 10 stacks of vulnerability and the target really doesn’t know what hit him.

And it works out that way in almost every scenario. It turns a rifle warrior into an amazing roamer and effectively the only sniper in the game.

With regards to Liltaro’s comment, yes the rifle burst is easy to dodge, but playing a rifle warrior intelligently, you MUST learn how to gauge the target’s vigor bar, and only use the burst after it’s been used up.

Killshot is one of the easiest skills ingame to evade,who does not see someone kneel down,aiming his rifle at you…? Unless it’s your first day playing gw you will evade it in most occasions.

Take advantage of the mayhem in wvw, then plenty of cover.

I see it has been noticed but fear it will not be changed, alas it is the butt of all jokes.

Sounds like it maybe the card going bad, i have the same issue at present with my Asus top 670’s, will test later today, annoying but least i don’t have to take cards out, i can just flick a switch :p Asus R3E mobo. It seems to happen more and more my MSI 580’s LE have been great, but my tri fire with xfx 5970 was a dud and a 5870 aswell.

As for my psu in this rig 1000W corsair.

Why spend the time when you can farm the mobs and get golds and orange items? Jormag gives blues and some greens in his chest. I have never seen an exotic from him, only 2 yellows in about 50 tries. I no longer do it, not worth anything IMHO.

Hahaha MARA very unfriendly guild, a few are ok, i got there true behaviour of that guild when i told them that i’d never been in wvw and i said i was a total noob, was led in and then left alone to die, got separated hadn’t a clue what to do a couple of kind souls from other guilds let me tag their tails, no invites to any group from mara guild, so how am i suppose to find them, disgusting and they’re running a 3 day event in wvw, it gets worse when i try to explain myself in guild chat why i’m not happy, threaten by officer barbie if i type one more word, so i said that isn’t friendly either, then she kicked me, she just didn’t like the fact i do semi nudes for art (never done it for money) there guild will be running naked in game though (see i’d do that for real). So apparently saying anything like this was totally banish-able, i do have a sense of humour but they don’t.

The other officer frog when i had been in ts after doing tixx he joined in chat, now their guild knew i had a toddler as when i joined them i told them so, he was like “is that a child i hear” it was like shock horror to him, he then went on to lecture me he was never having children, found this insulting and funny both at the same time, yes i do have cans and have ts set up push to speak, so never went back on ts with them, i need that like i need a hole in the head.

So any guy who would like to mentor me in game would be welcome lvl 80 human warrior rifle/ hammer, i’m easy on the ear and been told i’m very easy on the eyes depending who’s eyes i suppose, as i’ve said before i build my own gaming rigs, into astrophysics, anime fullmetal alchemist cowboy bebop, home cinema, speakers, amps, all scifi, family guy southpark, giger, frank frazetta, then there is natural horsemanship, so maybe whilst learning it wont be to boring, i’m also an infp. http://www.personalitypage.com/INFP.html

where are these mythical guilds that are on gunnar’s hold, i think after what happen to me tonight i never want to be in a guild ever again. It was not fun for a noobie like my self.

simple if the guild is really friendly helpful, not so if it is all a front and they’re elitist.

I didn’t use TS because last time i was on one of their officers was horrified that he heard my toddler briefly cry, he is 2 and had just woken from a nap so grumpy, i do have push to speak, but don’t want to be lectured on the reason why they never want children, as a woman i found it insulting and strangely funny at the same time. oh and i use cans so in other words swear away.

So no i’m not the best player….. yet…. but i have the tools, gaming rigs i build myself, 2 isp’s, over 100 Mb connection and most important free time, i just needed to tag along learn the ropes but was totally left on my own.

So i wont be going back in wvw again, best to keep myself to myself as it took all meaning of what is friendly from me.

So not that simple for me.
