Back in the days of 2013, people didn’t know how to properly dodge yet. Thus, everyone got stomped by glass ele’s bursts, containing arcane skills. They were nerfed to the point where they’re unviable in most situations.

Like every utility the ele has except cantrips.

Since everyone is focused on HoT right now, I don’t expect any of the core classes’ problems to be adressed. Remember that big balance patch last week? All they did was nerf ice bow.

- Reduce Dragon Claws Damage per Hit from 127 to 120 and reduce the Power Formula Calculator for 3,75 to 3,5. Increase its Range from 400 to 600.
- Burning Speed rechar Time from 15 to 30s and increase the Activation Time from 3/4s to 1s. Reduces the Range from 600 to 450.
Set the Base Damage from 679 to 500, Increases the Fire Wall Damage from 34 to 75. Remove the Evade Effect, add the Effect of Windborne Speed into this Skill, granting Swiftness and removing Chill/Immobilize.
- Ring of Fire Recharge Time s increased from 15 to 30s, Duration increased from 5s to 10s.
- Reduces Damage of Fire Grab on Burning Foes from 951 to 850, reduces its range from 300 to 180 and launches foes now away if hitting a burning foe.
- Reduces Healing of Cleansing Wave from 1302 to 850 and has now an increased Healing Power Calculator thats rased from 1 to 2
- Reduces Damage of Lightning Whip from 428 to 350 and its Power Calculator is instead of 1,26 reduced to 1,15
- Lightning Touch will get changed from causign Weakness to causing Vulnerability
- Shocking Auras Effect gets changed, it won’t stun anymore, it will cause now Weakness
- Ride the Lightning can be used now only when you have a target. Maximum Range is now 900. Lets you evade Attacks now, but after using it will you be dazed now for a second.
- Updrafts Recharge Time from 40seconds to 45 seconds. Removed the Evade Effect. Reduced the Number of Targets from 5 to 3
- Ring of Earth Recharge Time from 6 to 8s
- Reduces Bleeding of Churning Earth from 8 Stacks of Bleeding to 5 Stacks.
Reduced Damage from 1104 to 900 and the Power Calculator gets reduced from 3,25 to 3. Activation Time gets reduced from 3 1/4s to 3s

This tutorial has a mistake. Fire aura (from earth skill 3 + ring of fire) do not work with Elemental Shielding and will NOT grant you 4 seconds of protection from the trait.

How does the blast influence on water fields? I mean, is it even matter if elementalist who put water field has 500 or 1500 heling power? Will you get more healing if player who use blasts has more power or something?

Here is short video how to stack around 14 might in about 10 seconds with D/D elementalist. First you get by switching to Fire attunement due to VII Arcane trait Elemental Attunement, second is from VIII Air Magic trait Inscription when you cast Glyph while in Fire attunement (you may not count that one, it is very wierd build). After you put your Fire field: Ring of Fire you switch to Earth attunement for two combo finishers: Blast. The hardest part might be to use first blast from your skill Earthquake and short after that dodge (with XI Arcane trait: Evasive Arcana) to get second blast from Shock Wave.

Ok, stop that right now! I had enough… Enough people showing their BEST videos agains lame players proving that eles can do the same condies damage in whole fight as average necor in 5 seconds…

I appreciate that you make clear to everyone that this class has the lowest efficiency (efforts/results = efficiency) in the game, meaning that you have to work n times harder than x class to get the same result (if not worse). But just to make it clear, could you please entitle you topics with one and only true definition:
“the only class I’m having fun with – regardless of defeat or ineffectuality”. In other words, could you please let everyone know that they will frustrate playing this class just after having lots of fun with its diversity until realize that all these are just prospective victims of warriors, engineers, necros, thieves and any other guys that spent half much time to mastered their class…

request #235354 regarding my characters restoration, which as I believe after reading Gaile Gray post on this forum, should be more precisely called ‘account restoration’ and has not been solved yet.
I still have a hope that you may take your time and look on my ticket and hopefully help me to enjoy the game that I like the most recently.

I hope that you will also take a closer look to my ticket Gaile. I also send you yesterday a PM with further explanations as I was not sure what should I do.

I had similar situation yesterday. All my characters were deleted after I left my laptop with game on and and fall asleep by mi girlfriend. I sound like simple situation and with small amount of good will can be fixed.
However, GM Draghna gave me lots of good advices abuot my account security and… account sharing but do nothing to simply restore 1 char save from yesterday…
I believe that ARENA policy in such situation is aweful, and didin’t hope that my adventur in Tyria ends this way.
