In other news let’s keep the rest of the week clean and continue the awesome fights. It has been a fun weekend so far, regardless of the idiosyncrasies.
lol, that same mesmer … again?
This was recorded around 1 month ago after JQ ported into inner after we did a thorough sweep, so I decided to turn FRAPS on for the second sweep once we took it back. This lasted for a good 10+ minutes

same mesmer. black hair. Deja VU.1694
Honestly man even though it may look the same, our que for EB is insane I highly doubt its same mesmer unless que gods love him but hey I could be wrong.
This looks to be a different night.
You mean something like this?
Wow, that’s a screenshot.. with SG, of an asuran mesmer. Interesting.
Edit: That’s a pretty good screenshot of someone in a wall they shouldn’t be inside of (and one that isn’t destroyable or could have been passed into by accident on flip). Clearly the person who took it is attempting to attack the player only to be obstructed by the solid wall.
Thoughts?

I’ll offer a another opinion here as someone who was in garrison for the whole encounter. First, as most players know there aren’t many places for a mesmer to hide on inner. Outer is fairly complicated but inner has 4 or 5 spots that are even remotely “hidden”. Listening to our TS and checking each spot along with the map blob that defended the garrison from the original golem push, I can say with 100% certainty that the mesmer from SG that was inside did so outside of normal sanctioned methods.
They may be telling you in map chat that they have a portal available to you via hiding or other normal methods for the attention, but they are not.
This is the second time in two nights a member of SG has evaded a full sweep done by the commander, last night was on hills.
Asking for video, screenshots or similar isn’t practical. We know the game has hacking programs made for it (admitted by JQ last night as they had a player flying around in a golem). A smarter player could be using the same methods but hiding them from everyone to gain notoriety.
It’s disappointing that during such a prestigious event that these kinds of things are happening, JQ doesn’t need its name dragged through the mud over the actions of a few.
My suggestion is to have a meeting between all three servers and just blatantly avoid mesmer portals into keeps and the garrisons.
I assume people will be quick to dismiss this below, I can understand that. Just know I saw it first hand, twice in two nights now and it’s starting to become quite apparent.
Umm I think you are a little crazy here. Garrison inner is actually quite viable listening to TS has nothing to do with actually being the one sweeping. Also of note SF/SG are both honorable guilds and they wouldn’t take a portal if it was even slightly sketchy.
I was also inside Garrison with the commander and I know the spots as well. Nothing crazy here. Feel free to enlighten me, it’s not like there’s some secret handshake after 1 year of playing. Maybe the SG member can speak up about it, so far they have said nothing to defend their actions and we’ve said plenty.
The simple fact that the same mesmer hid last night in garrison and FEAR didn’t find him (I watched the dot on my map the entire time he never hacked in) it discredits your theory but nice try buddy.
Read again, this was on hills.
" in two nights a member of SG has evaded a full sweep done by the commander, last night was on hills."
When did you watch him? Last night? Tonight? What’s with the misinformation? Are you just trying to back him up?
JQ BL last night same mesmer was there in lords room for probably 25 mins. I watched him plant when we wiped and FEAR did a half kitten ’d sweep.
The same mesmer? (Deja Vu)

I experience game-breaking lag only once a day on average, not as often as others make it out to be.
QFT
SoR had FEAR on one team, Aco/WARD on another and a small LUN group was on map although not coordinating (no one speak portuguese it seems). The first two teams were coordinating although running as separate groups. FEAR left to cover SoR garrison at some point and the numbers changed a bit. The fight at Redvale (around 10:15 EDT once more BG got on the field and evened out the numbers) was pretty fun, we held out as long as we could, which seemed like a while.
TC Had a small force and fought gallantly to hold Bay.
Had a great time last night, we came out for fights and got them. Not all fights were as balanced as we’d like but once KnT and others arrived on the scene it was more intense.
Some players did spam /laugh on both sides. Personally I avoid this, salute and bow brings your opponent back on the field to fight again.

Blobbing is easier, if you’re fighting an inferior enemy. If two pug blobs collide, larger numbers always win.
Personally our guild runs 20-25 and I enjoy the large blobs we hit, they just create more bags and a challenge. If we hit a truly coordinated blob, they win sometimes. C’est la vie.
To answer the OP’s question people complain because that’s what people do to make themselves feel better. People generally want to attribute some weird sense of superiority for pressing keys in a game and talk down to anyone using words like “Scrub, blob, etc” to do so. It’s the internet and they can’t be held accountable for being rude.
When the ppt passes 400, the only thing you’re fighting is hylophobia.
LOL….I have apparently started something.
I’ll send the royalty check next week.
Instead of a good match with an exciting finish we get a blow out every week, regardless of which server it is. I am uncertain why people come here to argue that it’s not purely a numbers game in when that happens, and that those points were somehow the culmination of hard work and against strong opposition. When the ppt passes 400, the only thing you’re fighting is hylophobia.
These evolution charts:

http://mos.millenium.org/servers/history/33
http://mos.millenium.org/servers/history/29
tell the real story. No need to get up in BG’s face over anything in regards to PPT, SoR has dominated T1 in the past (Week 21 ish for example) and JQ has the longest running period of domination.
The back biting, attacks, accusations and other garbage needs to be moderated by Anet more seriously. Half the posts in this forum are against the ToS and yet people don’t get banned from the forums. It’s rather mind boggling, maybe the mods just gave up.
So, how did SoR enjoy the lagfest in BG Garrison earlier? It got so bad we could only run around auto-attacking and hoping SoR would eventually cap (which had not happened when we left an hour and a half later). :P
It was fun and we tried to cap but the banner thing with lords made it pretty difficult. I hope they change it in a future patch but right now it really causes issues.
Either way fun fights.
I’d like to thank everyone for their support, constructive criticism and understanding regarding the WARD and Aco move. While we all have different points of view, I think we can all agree that this is a game and we are playing it to have fun with our guild and our communities.
What we did was the best choice in this situation for our guild. I still have mad respect for Mance, Jed, Wok, Kada, Ben Sheets and on and on. You guys are great people and I’ll have a great time getting riled up and seeing you guys on the opposing side of the field.
Also if you get a precursor from my corpse at any point I get half, thanks!
I’m sure they feel the “mad respect.” Joining the strongest NA-prime definitely shows a load of respect to anyone you worked with in the past during NA. They must feel worthy.
Don’t worry SoR, you are an official T1 server now for life anyhow, as Prx/Ward just bandwagoned over to you!
You can’t say your stacked until that particular group of spineless groupies pays you a visit.
Clearly someone is upset over losing the house in a divorce.
“I see you driving round town with the blob I love.. and I’m like kitten you! (ooh ooh ooh).
I see the zerker gear in my group wasn’t enough, and i’m like kitten you!! (ooh ooh ooh).”

Oddly, scores do matter in that the objective defines the game. Bluntly put, saying score doesn’t matter is simply saying “We are strong as a group but weak as a whole”. Score matters to your opponent and they are fighting that way. You are being denied fights that are equal simply because your opponent doesn’t share your objective.
It’s really odd, I respect a lot about Choo except that statement.
Don’t get me wrong. We care about the scores, we just follow the fights more. We would rather lose and have epic fights rather than win by PvD.
Makes more sense, cheers, GFs.

- Squad management with objective icons. Allow commander to assign groups to objectives. Full visibility of all members on the map.
- WvW player ranking system with badge rewards for specific levels. Level 80 Exotics to at lower levels similar to 80 karma stats, Ascended items and precursors for purchase at highest ranks. Finishers, WvW specific back items (ex: Sashimono http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sashimono with guild emblem.) can also be purchased.
- Add skins for WvW that are battle specific, showing rank (from above).
- Auto loot for all bags or change graphic, notification to alert player.
- 6 man limit for yak defense and restore previous reward incentives.
- Jumping Puzzle instanced, when logging in you are removed from the WvW queue.
- Pause on filling queue for DC’d players
- Replace Orbs to area wide buffs only, to be carried into battle (and possibly lost). Fix orb altar to only allow damage when entry is already physically possible. (or lord is dead).
- Guild control of keep allows resource holding (split 1/2 with non guild members) that can be used for upgrades.
- Guild control of keep or tower gives currency rewards to be spent on siege (or just badges).
- Siege account bound.
I have more upstairs… this is more like a wish list

Thou shalt not kill the holy Grub.
Don’t forget Thief smoke too.
and guardians have a few right.
Actually they nerfed that early. Seems they didn’t mean to allow these abilities to block siege, but here we are anyways.
The biggest hit was the attention to new PVE that drew WvW players out of the fight and has wrecked participation. Some of the higher tier servers haven’t had more than a 10 minute queue since the update.
They could have added WvW content alongside the update to draw players and keep them there, but apparently that wasn’t important.
Don’t forget Thief smoke too.
If they had added content to WvW as well as PVE, this would be less of an issue. Allow those that want what PVE has to offer in WvW and it’d be better. Hopefully they are working on this, incentive is king… I have been in WvW all weekend and now, but eh, it’s definitely dropped off on all but the most motivated servers.
The only thing that needs to be changed about Thief is influencing cap under stealth in WvW. Judging by the last patch, this will happen. They’ve already tried (still broken) to nerf elementalist cap under mist form.
