We are a multi game group but all of the guild wars 2 videos should be on the alpine map. We are roamers so we won’t be in large groups often xD

Will there be multiple skins(other than the pre-order skins) for the glider at release or added later on? Or, a way to customize your glider and add decals, change the color, etc. Or, make achievements that reward glider skins? Make them prestigious so you know if you see someone with that glider skin, that they worked for it and spent their uh… “valuable”(?) time on to get it.

Does the WvW BL come out the same time as HoT? Because it seems weird that it comes out reset day but doesn’t come out at reset time.

For example you might not run Shock and Aftershock, I just run it because it is very useful in WvW.

Although I don’t know how good of a healer the Druid will be. I found a nice healing build over the last beta that does a ton of healing. So idk about you guys, Ima be playing a healing tempest

You can’t buy the core game any more, you most definitely can’t get it for free and you can’t buy the expansion by itself. You can only buy a bundle. And it’s the bundle that costs $50.

Yes anet did change their FAQ and I get that, people are mad. But you guys go straight to the negative and assume the very worste which is you just got scammed. You have no proof of this however, maybe they did just come up with it at the last second and added the core game into the HoT price. So, what if they did rip you off $7-$50, it rly isn’t that much considering the thousands of hours many of you have put in the game AND the money is just going back into the game, so what does it matter, most of you probably would of spent the money on gems anyways.
With this it makes the game so much easier for new players to get into and the vets shouldn’t be complaining. They got all of living story 2 for free(If they logged on), all of living story 1 which the new players may never get to play, all the holiday activies FOR FREE. So I dont care if they charge us $50 because with all of the stuff they have given us for free I’m willing to pay it. Not to mention that all the new players coming in will need a place to go and will possibly end up in you’re guild or friendlist.
And for the people complaining about not getting a character slot… YOU CAN GET THE GOLD IN LESS THAN 2 WEEKS. I don’t see what the problem is. And if you are a vet you will already have the money, so I dont see the problem on why you can’t purchase a character slot in game.
People also need to realize that this xpac isn’t primarily focused on the content side, more on the feature side. They told all of us this early on that they were just finding their feet on how they wanted to continue progressing the game. So don’t just say , oh it has 3 maps and a new class not worth it. It also comes with PLENTY of features to keep us busy for hours and hours to come.

I agree with briggah but I just want to point out that HoT is more of a feature based xpac as anet just found out how they wanna do things and not so much content, dont get me wrong it will have enough content to satisfy most for a while. People are just underestimating how much time they will actually spend playing it.

You guys realize that this expansion is more feature based instead of content based as they just figured out what they wanted to do. I agree with their price and would pay it without a second thought. People just underestimate how much time they will actually spend doing it and they havn’t even revealed everything to us yet.

It actually isn’t illegal. They could easily say they changed their mind at the last minute and it would just be a waste of time and money to go to court.

Anet has said in other threads that the xpac is $50 and the core game is bundled in free. I personally agree with the xpac being $50 I think people just underestimate the amount of content and playtime they will actually do in it. If they don’t like that they think they are being scammed. That is their problem and they don’t have to buy it. But overall I think it helps the community. Brings in new young uns and is a fair price in general.

Since there is tempest weapons do you guys think that the tempest weapon/armor piece will have the same general look to it? Give it a clue for what the spec could be about aswell?
