Thanks, I think you figured that out. The interface on that is kind of weird, I was thinking it was a karma issue.

I have checked the forums, and guides and cant find this answered. Any idea why I cant purchase upgrades for caravans and such? I have over 90k in karma, but it seems like its not recognized.

I think I found out why the shells have such a poor drop record, you can turn 1000 of them in for the accessory. http://www.gw2db.com/items/72531-ancient-karka-shell-s

So then who is going to use them to craft with? Love that the first major patch has stuff for crafters, but please give us stuff that is going to be realistic.

Do we need to keep them for any future patches to allow turnin’s? I checked the dev comments section and it doesn’t seem to be answered.

I have killed 130 Karka according to my Achievements, and I have had 2 shells drop. I have been using Peach Tarts, and my gear is 57%, for a total of 83% magic find.

I personally think MF in Guild Wars is wrong, but lets say that we want folks stated that way. What MF rate would you need to get a decent drop rate?

Edit – the shells also dont go to your Collectibles. nor the Passion Flowers.

I dont understand why was the phase 2 quest line removed? That seems wrong, you do phase 1 from friday to saturday – bug fix was applied – so shouldnt the phase 2 search with Miyani be up till sunday noon?

thanks for the info, was a guess on it being Chinese since so many hacked attempts seem to be coming from there.

Had my account hacked this weekend, and I have reset all my passwords and pretty much got everything working again – but I have one issue.

When I mine copper ore it shows up in Chinese now. It didnt do that before.

I did make sure my language setting is set to English / English. And so far it seems to only occur on copper ore.

I think I caught the hacker before they did to much damage to my account, changed all the passwords and stuff, and opened support ticket to get it restored.

But I have one issue that I cant seem to fix. I am set to English / English for both audio and text – but only when I am mining ore at a node the ore comes up in chinese characters.

Other gathering is in English.

Holding a boulder at end of boss fight in Ascalonian Catacombs causes missing chest. We have seen this bug occur on multiple accounts in our guild runs in AC story mode.

If you have a boulder in your hands when the boss dies, you will not get a chest. Other people in your party will. The chest will show on the map, but wont be shown to the person who had the boulder.

I experienced this bug myself today, I got around it by swimming out to the ship and destroying it with my spear. Very easy.
