There is a siege limit on a map. Once your team hits the siege limit on the map, you will not be able to place any more siege anywhere on the map. This happened to us on EB where someone built dozens of rams at each supply pile inside SM and we could not place any more siege on the entire map. So every gate had to be taken down with melee only.

Same here.. i bought some Mithril Ore and Elder Logs, Trading Post took my money but never gave me the items! What do I do? How do I get the items or my money back??

They should have left NSP vs SOR vsYB alone… That was best match up by far… And was too close to move any of them to different brackets… I think everyone from all three servers wants another run at it…

More serious WvW players from Yaks Bend and Sanctum have already server transferred to NSP…

NSP is going to win… They are the fastest growing WvW server… Many of the players are very aggressive and have military backgrounds… Most of their Commanders are very good especially that VIP guild… Many players from other servers they go against end up moving to the NSP server…

seems like an easy thing to do? Or would the real time map be hard if you were not in the zones? Maybe update the map every few minutes?

Before deciding which WvW map to wait an hour in the queue for, it would be nice to see them first and what progress is currently on each map.

The problem with allowing guilds to hang their banner on castles and keeps is that the guilds that didnt “click fast enough” tend to not defend the structure so they can have a chance to claim it for themselves. It causes a very selfish environment. I’m not sure if this is what Anet intended, but it definitely is happening…

Currently, it’s near impossible to find out what WvW zone guild members are in. I think it would be a great improvement and an easy fix.

The title says it… When you view players in the Guild window, it just says they are in WvW but doesn’t tell you which map they are on…

I’ve been searching forever now. How EXACTLY do you server transfer? I’ve looked on this website, i’ve looked in TP, and I’ve had no luck. Am I blind? Where is the section where you initiate a server transfer?

Can Anet add a How to Bot section to the forum? I’ve seen a lot of people botting. I thought it was against the rules to bot but maybe it’s not? A lot of people, including me, have reported bots, but nothing is ever done about it. Seems like Anet doesn’t mind if people bot, so why not have a section so players could teach other players how to bot? It’s so hard to get karma, exp and gold with the limits on events, etc… so it seems like these botters have it figured out?

And before the forum police jump on this as an opportunity to get their little feeling of importance, of course this is a tongue in cheek post…

There are bots by the thousands all over the place and nothing is done about it. Some are standing in one event area shooting at one spot over and over for days… Just flat out blatant botting with no care of getting caught because they obviously get away with it. Meanwhile, us that play legit get penalized more and more while the botters rake in the easy karma, gold, exp, etc… If I work very hard and do too many events then I am penalized, yet a botter just afks for a week and ends up with limitless karma, gold, etc… So what do you think is being encouraged? Botting… Whatever you tolerate, you encourage… How hard is it to get a report, log in and watch the person for a few minutes.. and the botting is obvious… What if the account is stolen? Check the IP logins… never changed since account started? Botter… changed? lock account and make original owner verify …

Anet should adopt the diablo item system where the items have unlimited possibilities… Everything is so cookie cutter right now…

Does ANet even read this forum? Was the thought behind this penalty to stop botters? This isn’t the way to stop botting. How about make players enter a captcha after a certain time period to prove they are a real human instead of penalizing the many for the actions of a few.

Whoever came up with this idea should be fired. I guess the strategy session went like this: “Let’s create a game and then discourage people from playing it too much! Yeah! That’s a brilliant idea Bob! Give that man a promotion!”

Is something broken? After I do several events, I start getting no rewards for them. Why is this?? Makes me want to cut the game off and go play something else… You work really hard, then the moment comes, and the reward is…. 400 exp and 16 karma.. are you serious!?!

I agree. A Twitter update with just "Trading Post will remain down for maintenance for the time being. We’ll let you know when it’s back up. " is very lazy.

Anyways is there a good reason for it being down for almost 24(?) hours besides “maintenance”?

There’s at least 1 obvious exploit being heavily hammered right now (no I won’t say which it is because it’s really BAD to do on a forum).
Games like GW2 or EvE Online rely on their economy not being devastated by those exploits because they immediately turn into massive gems / PLEX damage and that damage directly maps on real money damage for the company.
This is why they bring the TP down at the first sign of something suspicious going on, they really lose money if they don’t.

The obvious exploit being used isn’t an exploit but a hack. I’ll say what it is, these bots. I’ve reported several bots but nothing is ever done about it. They warp to target over and over nonstop. One hacker on our server is so bad, he has a team of bots that all stick together, look exactly alike, etc and they warp/teleport all over the place auto killing.

So there is no ETA on this at all? This really holds up progress. I’m stuck with crappy gear and am unable to buy better items. We should get some free gems for the inconvenience or something…
