Same i still can’t even i was getting done with dragons stand and i was unable to leave the map. it resulted in me relogging over and over and not even be able to use any of my characters

- Engineer weapons need a slight buff. Scrapper needs a nerf to the boon duration department. All of it’s boons.
I agree that the core weapons do need a buff but the traits that buff those weapons need to be properly toned down/buffed before the weapons can be buffed mathematically or even animation wise.
One trait that needs reworking is Chemical rounds (Pistol skills have increased condition duration). This is at 50% which isn’t unbalanced for the state of where the game is at but, It should be moved to the duration to the actual pistols and not by trait. Though this could cause an upset you can move 20% to the base duration on the pistols and 10% to trait duration and add condition damage to the trait. This would make it so you can get good duration on you pistol skills though slight nerf to it but it’s made up in actual damage.
To continue, with pistols they could use a little bit more base power damage. I know it’s a condition main weapon but think of an actual pistol shot it can kill you really fast of course depending on where you’re shot but it’s not all bleeding that kills you off it’s the initial impact that put you to a wounded state where the person who got shot can’t do much about it. With that said the pistols should in the future see more power damage than what there is now but the conditions can be left alone they’re well balanced.
Rifle/rifle trait: there’s nothing that can be done here because if nerfed we would never see rifle again for the rest of guild wars it would just be gone and deleted from the game even if everything was balanced right.
Hello this guide is mainly for new teams starting out or even old players that like to queue together. I’m making this because whenever i queue i always see someone that doesn’t know the basics or a whole team doesn’t and it saddens me because this game isn’t exactly new at all.
Team Chemistry
>Being able to get along and be good together in a match through good communication and good combat synergy.

>Using cc’s in a team fight when a person goes down so the team can’t res

Communication (One of the biggest parts of becoming a good team)

>Call Rotations, Head counts, starting splits, and enemy rotations/location
>Review the match afterwards to see what you and your team could work on and do better the next match. (Win or Lose).

>1 spot for someone who is going to play a build to help counter the other team and give edge in a team fight.
I don’t get this temporary 4v5 business… Generally you swap when you have died, and you are loaded back in before the timer expires.
I did a swap yesterday, we had 4 Necro so for lolz I got our team a 5th mid match because the enemy was complaining about all the “bandwagoners”, then we just focused the one guy who couldn’t stop complaining all game.
What is their not to understand it takes about 2-3 mins for someone to chose and load back into a match. “Generally” 4v5 throws the match no matter how much time you’re out. Though as i said i acknowledge that sometimes when you swap you can help a match but it is extremely rare.
Hello, this post isn’t out of hate it’s because of the fact you shouldn’t swap mid match. Here are a few reasons why it shouldn’t be allowed though these are obvious it’s good for people who ignorant to know.
1. Creates temporary 4v5 and throws the match. This makes it easy for the other team to create a snowball and turn the match.
2. People are doing it for the achievement so of course they’re going to play something they don’t main which will make it a 4v5 for the rest of the match
3. Even if “they aren’t going for the achievement” they end up throwing the match.
I understand that there are times that swapping can help a match in all but it is extremely rare that anyone who swaps mid match ends up helping a match. There are quite a few more consequences other than dishonor that needs to be added to the swapping mid match.
1. Can be as simple as you lose a pip if you swap, with the league system currently in effect it will discourage most people from doing so.
2. Make swapping and winning by any chance not count towards the profession achievement. This will stop everyone who does swap just for this achievement from doing so.
3.Make a system so when someone who swaps during matches over and over that they get banned for 3 days. Again swapping makes a match 4v5 and is right next to the people who just leave during a match.
To conclude swapping mid-match should be extremely regulated and even a ban-able offense at the most because it is annoying and it does throw a match. Thank you and please add on to this if you would like to.

1) tone down tanks; Some crap can just live long off of pure build not skill. This would put thieves in a good spot.
2) Give thief gs or rifle and take away staff.
3) Solo que or Dou que.
4) A new leader board PLEASE!!!!!!
5) Balance stuff right. Fix everything for Christmas.
There was a lot of stuff that went on at beta and tbh this one wasn’t my favorite. There were builds/classes that were clearly better than others and i’ll give some of my experiences.
1.) Reaper. I felt reaper had no good builds out there due to the fact necro shouldn’t have a greatsword. The death shroud change was actually cool in my opinion but truly the greatsword didn’t help any necros out there from my experience this weekend. Im sad to say greatsword necro just doesn’t have a place.
2.) Chronomancer. If played right that build was just insane it was too overpowered in many cases. Being able to reset cooldowns, and being to apply slowness with shield though it fits the class. Mesmer should be toned down before you try to implement this new playstyle.
3.) Tempest. I truly didn’t see any. I guess people didn’t want to play it and this is another case where what you have now is 6x better then what you’re trying to add. D/D cele ele will remain the best build for ele till further changes.
4.) Revenant. I love the idea of the class in all but, being able to have almost permanent resistance it needs to be toned down a little. Other then that it wasn’t that strong against physical and im sure we’ll see better builds that will help with that but until then I think it was good.
5.) Dragonhunter. I love the feel of it. But I personally didn’t see anyone use the traps on it but still it was fairly good. But before you try to implement this I’d like to see physical damage guards have a place. Too many things out dps it making it next to useless.
6.) Overall I thought the beta was ok but the current builds we have are a lot stronger since we’re all used to the playstyles and roles of the classes. Yes some things are overpowered atm but truly the current meta was used a lot over the stuff that came with the beta.
7.) The people who played the beta I personally saw only bad players using beta builds, no offense but people who are good at their builds would rather play their builds than the beta. There was almost no reason to go and oh i’ll pick up a reaper or a dragonhunter over something we already have.
Hello I am the leader of The Brozerkers. We are looking for EXPERIENCED people to be in our team. I’d like to stress how important it is to be mature and not complain, blame, and rage while with us.
We are at a standpoint where the meta might change at any moment, but since the patch it seems that every class got the seal of approval to be viable. So with that said bring any class but, be able to play more than 1 class and more than 1 build because what do you know your build/class might get nerfed in a hurry.
Must haves: ts3, good to moderate internet connection, mic, a good knowledge on conquest, and of course patience.
ts3 for communication we don’t use mumble or skype.
Good internet connection because we don’t want random disconnects during games it’ll just mess up a whole match.
A good knowledge of conquest, please know your role, the basics, we will teach advanced stuff though.
And of course patience because we may not be the best team at first got to get to know each other become friends, have synergy, and the will to stay with us even if we lose.

Ive mained engineer since beta, its the class that I always “enjoyed playing” even if I was doing a different class for awhile. So i’ll go ahead and talk about the marauders rifle engi build. Its like the first cele rifle build that came out that used elixir S instead of Slick shoes im sure engi mains would know this. The new engi meta just feels like its whole role has changed for pvp and personally I am not ok with it.
1v1 ability: C, depends on who you’re fighting but overall, C.
2v2 ability: D, its just not there anymore and its because now its too squishy and theres more dps. Im saying this for high teir 2v2ing im sure intermediates would be crybabies and say its good, but it really isn’t.
Engager: F, not its role anymore really ever since the dps was turned up.
Decap “CC”: Depends, it can be an A or an F depending on who you’re dealing with.
Peeler +1r: B it has the mobility and the dps to just come in and blow stuff up and bail.
Sustain against physical: B it has 2 invulns depending on the build but over its pretty good.
Sustain against condis: F, All engi mains old and new know condis just counter engi and we wish we had better condi removal.
Support: B, it can give stealth, heal, etc.
Physical DPS: A, if you can burst right it is good.
Condi output: C, its there still but not that Important.
To be honest overall the new engi pvp meta is alright but it doesn’t really have a place yet and i’d wish anet would make it a little better just so it can keep up or else it’ll just fall out of the meta.
My overall grade for the new engi meta is a: D
I do have to admit the dps is way too high now and its to the point where 1 shotting people is possible in pvp and that really shouldn’t be possible, the meta went from being good with sustain and wise dodging. Now its whoever can burst down the other team fast not caring about dodging because the only thing that would keep you alive is invulns. And Condis their damage is so low its like Anet is promoting everyone to run Berzerkers.

But over 30mins late though
I communicate with 16 teams at one time. I notify all teams who made it in. If you signed up 30 minutes before it started and didnt get a PM, don’t expect to be in. This tournament is ran by myself and 1 other admin. Things get complicated.
Here’s my 2 cents to that. You had no reason for this to be complicated. You only have to talk with 1 captain who will notify the team about this stuff. There is no reason you shouldn’t have gotten back with them, its not like you’re talking with 100’s of people. Also you should be more organized again with what I said 1 guy to talk to per team, you could of easily dealt with 30 teams if that. 16 is not much when you look at it. You are just making you’re self look ignorant and a bad admin.
It sounds to me that AG even though having the permission to run all this and stuff I get that but really come on. They should of obeyed their own rules and let you in because they even said you got in and you were on time. But waiting till 9pm when nothing had been said to finally saying oh you’re not in anymore, because you signed up too late when clearly you did. Is just uncalled for and just plain rude to the player who is affected by this nonsense.
Tournament was full according to Storm @Academy Gaming who runs the event. They signed up the day of for a event thats been advertised clearly as limited to 16 teams, first come first serve. Not being contacted til 9pm is a double edged sword. Looks like neither team tried to reach out to the TO either…

How I view the new leaderboards:
1. Its a grind it rewards those who play more than others.
2. as a result of ^ it takes those who are good and have high mmr but don’t play much off the leaderboards.
3. Anyone who sits down for a week or so and plays non stop ranked could get to the top even if they aren’t good.
How I viewed the old leaderboards:
1. It rarely changed
2. It rewarded good play which I liked a lot
3. It was used by most good/popular guilds as a way to recruit good pvprs (those who were in the top 500)
4. It was a “reward” to be on it, it made you feel like you were getting somewhere not grinding though.
5. It put you at a rank as you beat a team with the range of their leaderboard rank, so lets say I beat a team with people from the range of 500-505 on the leaderboards I would be put at 506 or something like that.
So now lets get to my suggestions of what i’d like it to be:
1. Reward those of good play
2. Reward activeness so lets say u get to r300 or so on the leaderboards if you play each day it’ll stay around there as long as your gameplay is good, not for how much you play.
3. Progressing on the leaderboards, just like the old one if you beat a team of that rank range you progress there.
4. Cut down on rank decay, if someone gets to r100 on this new leaderboards if hes gone for like 3 days he loses his rank completely and goes to like 90%, so please cut down on it.
5. team rank! So lets say you have a team Ex: Team US, you can enter your team to the leaderboard and have a team rank but when you play solo or duo you have a separate leaderboard rank, this suggestion will bring back teams and or create new ones.
6. you already talked about this new “guild rank” thing but i’d like to add on to it, 1. don’t reward bigger guilds please, I know that may seem bold but just don’t, some guilds that are small are 3 times better than some bigger guilds; so this ties back into rank based on gameplay and how good you do. 2. Your guild ha to enter on the leaderboards to be able to progress in rank and have each separate member for that guild sign up for it. 3. if you have like 10 people in a guild wanting to do this make it a separate rank, so lets say guild: USA has 10 people and they run 2 teams each night each team has a separate rank as USA team 1. and USA team 2. on the leaderboards.
7. if you are in a 4v5 the leaderboards will not change and chose to discard that match.
8. I like the rewards like the mini llama in all but that is only encouraging those who aren’t pvp enthusiasts to go into ranked and be put with higher mmrs witch is an impractical match and illogical. it makes it a 4v5 to sum that up.
9. If you are constantly winning or at the top of the leaderboards for a week or so your rank should start to decay so others will have a chance at getting there.
10. keep players mmr from the last leaderboard the same for the new one I hate it when I go solo when a new leaderboard comes out and all I get put with are a bunch of people who look like they jut started the game.
These are just some suggestions I’d like to hear others opinions on how it should change etc. I’d like feedback
To be honest this is true. 1 thing to help with mmr could be having it be separate between other classes like if u just started a necro it uses a separate mmr so u can at least learn it since when ur at elite mmr if you take a class ur learning to ranked or unranked it’d just be a 4v5 if anything and that I find a ton during all my ques. Which makes for unfair matches because even when I solo or dou que I get put against 5 man premades almost destend to lose. Though with the longer que times it would help me even to put me against full pugs when i soloq instead of getting put against some dumb 5 man premages. sometimes i swear the mmr is broken on my side even.
theres going to be Revenants everywhere once this expansion hits. Even I have opened up a new character slot just for it. The hype is real
