GW2 already flashes in the Taskbar when your character finishes loading in a zone and when PVP queue pops, but I’d like to see more instances where this would happen in cases where people are likely to alt-tab. For example, when a large stack of items finishes crafting, when certain boss events are about to start, or even maybe a command where group members can do this for the whole group after they come back from AFK. I’m sure there are plenty of other intances where this could be useful. I think an option for it would be great.

I’ve had the enchanted treasure chest in my home instance for a while, but once HoT dropped it’s been missing my from home instance.

There was no information about it so far. I’d wager that it’ll be fixed at the next feature patch.

Hopefully it’ll be fixed before Heart of Thorns is released, especially if it is in fact an expansion. I’m sure there will be a lot of new players who’ll want to catch up story wise.

The old dailies kept me logging in and playing (and paying in the Gem store). I could complete the dailies by just PLAYING. I’d play on main doing the new LS, on an 80 alt working on world completion, on a low level alt trying to get to 80.

The new dailies funnel me into places I may not want to go, and to do things I might not want. It’s not even worth the coin to waypoint to get to half the places all over the world for the dailies now.

I like to complete collections. Especially ones that should have been automatically completed due to unlocking everything prior.

In 2012 I made an Endless Toymaker’s Tonic from endless tonics of the toy soldier, princess doll, toy ventari, and toy golem. I still have my endless plush griffon tonic as well. For the new collection Toy Tonic Tippler, is there any way to complete the collection without having to re-acquire the 4 tonics I already had that were used to make the Endless Toymaker’s Tonic?

In Pursuit of Knowledge is currently bugged and stalled. “The dredge and Priory are competing for the center camps.” However, neither Firebase Molek or Fridgardr Lodge have ongoing events. Currently Fridgardr Lodge has dredge, but no veteran, and the gates are down. Magister Penelope in Firebase Molek does not start any events.

Looking for a guild or a guild who runs public missions, that runs missions around primetime european time. Eg, in the morning EST.

I just noticed it when I was crafting in LA after the update and the crafting windows seem glaringly bright to me.

Did anyone notice they didn’t bring back the Halloween crafting station backgrounds? I wonder why? I enjoyed them personally.

It’s only obtainable on the TP right now. They never brought back the 2012 skins.

Still waiting on this fix. I’m a veteran that procrastinated on my PS. Right before the changes I just finished Romke’s Final Voyage. So that character’s personal story is in limbo. I just flat out refuse to play anything past Claw Island on any character. I’m hoping they fix this mess. If they put it back the way it was and I have to replay some missions, fine. As long as everything goes back to the way it was.

Yep, I have the hair color issue on the character screen as well.

So I rolled a brand new sylvari warrior because I noticed on another low level alt that completing your first heart is no long required for your personal story. I was very surprised to find that, upon waking from the dream, sylvari are no longer naked. You will never see this text upon talking to the Warden Requisitioner:

“Warden Requisitioner: Ah, a freshly awakened sylvari! Welcome to Tyria, sapling! I’m a member of the Wardens, the protective guard for our homeland here in the Grove. I’m here to provide you with equipment.

Oh, good. In my dream, I had a certain attire…

Warden Requisitioner: I’ve just the thing for you. Here, take this. Now, go speak with Warden Arondele, down the path to your left. She’ll help you get oriented.

I’m guessing the Green Floaty Personal Story Icon is too complicated to understand?

Support helped me out. I was able to destroy the old skin, and receive a new one that wasn’t bound and I was able to sell.

Yeah, it came back fine. I’m also getting that Connection error 7:11:3:191:101 thing too. Some zones I have trouble getting into. This is just a recent thing though and no changes have been made to my Pkittenil I was trying to get the bltc to work.

edit: Just logged into other Windows user account, and it won’t the gem store or anything either.

After troubleshooting with anet over this, for some reason if I create a new Windows User Account with admin priveleges (my original has admin as well) I’m able to load the BLTC. This is as far as Anet will troubleshoot with me. I’ve cleared cache, disabled firewall, switched firewalls, unistalled and reinstalled the game. I’m at a loss. And how would another user account resolve this?

and how that would probably apply to the Fused Daggar Skins I have. However, with the recent addition of the wardrobe system, I added one skin to my wardrobe, but I have another in my inventory. Since I’m unable to sell this skin on the TP (even though it’s not labeled as account bound) is there any way to get tickets back? Or am I just s.o.l. and have a skin taking up inventory space?

All I’d like to know if with the release of Ascended Armor, this is the end of vertical progression as far as new items. I’m tired of working towards bis items only to have the new items release that offer “new stat increases!” This is exactly one of the reasons I left the “other games” to play this one.

A character you make tomorrow will get their birthday gift 12 months from tomorrow. A character you made 6 months after the game launched, is going to get theirs in a little over 6 months. When the character was made makes no difference, how much they are played makes no difference, just how long they exist.

So I’m getting 12 mini’s of the Queen?

During large zergs, eg pavilion, it’d be nice to have a toggle so I could choose whether stealth disabled auto attack or not.

I was just reading a short thread about someone getting bored with the lack of gear grind.

Not everyone has the composure to farm the same banal content over and over until they have the bestest best baubles and lord it over people. This game is for people that want to be on primarily equal footing.

Take myself for example. I’m a tried and true “medium-core” gamer. I love a nice complex system and a few long-term goals to work toward but especially difficult content or unfriendly people cripplingly frustrate me. I can’t stand dungeons due to the incessant number of overpowered damage dealing "whatever"s, I’d be WILLING to try fractals if the elitists weren’t hoarding all the parties, that sort of thing.

And it turns out I don’t have to do things that way, I can get my gear for the most part from other content to get in a better spot and THEN try some of that harder content again IF I choose.

I’m happy for that personally. This game IS for me.

Me too. You should give Fractals a shot though. It’s actually pretty fun. Just find a pug and let them know it’s your first time. You’d be surprised how many nice people are out there.

The key is to quickly discover the location, though this in many respects is like a needle in a haystack, before intercepting and killing the individuals. With a timer of 15 minutes to find two bounties in the first tier, it’s a tough call.

Sounds like a good way to spend some money on waypoints… I guess we’ll just have to see.

Breath of fresh air after my 80 elementalist. Yeah the pets are wonky, but I honestly only depend on them as a meat shield. I’ve only gotten him to lvl 24 but so far I’m enjoying him.

The Halloween skins were a pain to get, but they did the mini’s well I thought. Now the opposite is true. The skins are fairly easy to get, but the mini’s are based entirely on RNG. 1 step forward and 2 steps back imo.

You down the gift carrier. I just finished mine. I managed to get 3 in one round. I used the gap in the cliffs (where the swiftness bonus is) to get ahead of their gift carrier. #5 as scout, then timed my #4 correctly. Thankfully they already had ~half health, so my fully charged #4 brought them down. Repeat until achievement achieved.

Does this mean the stuff on the 14th in Lion’s Arch will appear at the same time as all the other events? Could the stuff on the 14th appear at the daily reset time (1900 EST)?

Yeah, you probably hit the threshold of gems/time. I’ve hit it quite a few times. I don’t know how many gems or how fast you have to buy them to hit their magic threshold, but once you do you have to request to have it lifted. It’s usually for 24-48 hours. I’ve been told that over time the block wears off and you can buy gems freely, but Anet keeps it mum on how long that is, or whether any attempt to buy gems resets the time. Best bet is to contact a CSR to get the block lifted and in the future space out Gem purchases.

Edit: I’ve been told it’s an anti-hacked account thing. But I’m sure there are some economic reasons why they do this as well.

Have you called your bank to see if they put a hold on that transaction? It’s a quick phonecall and an easy fix if that’s the problem. Also, have you bought a lot of gems lately?

You emailed support already, but sometimes they take a little time to respond on the weekends. Usually they’ll send you a reply stating this.

Something needs to be done about story dungeons. They’re not soloable, which is fine, but there’s no incentive for other people who’ve already done them, or people that don’t want to do them to help out the people who do. A multi-server story mode dungeon finder? Lol, I really don’t know. I just think something should be done to ease the completion of these 1 time dungeons.

I see a LOT of complaints about the elementalist.
1. Dont face tank. DODGE !
2. Dont use a staff.
3. Dont use fire.
4. Take DEFENSIVE skills and use them.
5. O M G Toughness!
6. OMG Vitality ! YAY more HP!
7. Swap elements. Water does offer some healing, its small but it just may save your life.

Ewwww. I can’t play that way. Daggers just aren’t fun for me as an ele. Elementalist was my first profession, and only after I started playing my ranger and other classes did I start to find true joy in playing.
