Im having similar issues. I was in Queensdale, and I would hit lag spikes. This doesn’t happen in my other MMOs and only started in GW2 after I installed the new patch.
ANet please have tech support look into or give us a sign that you are looking into this.

Oneira, does it work everytime? If ANet is not addressing this bug at the moment, maybe we can at least get a thread going to address this. For me it started when I updated to Mavericks.
I also noticed, when GW2 acts up its as if it opens a second instance of the game, and it has a slight blueish hue at the login screen. Once the game loads, it goes away.

At the moment, I can’t say, but I have the tgUpdate show up, and the camera will work fine.

Just want to say thanks for the work, and content that is being put into this game. I know there are mechanics, and game play issues that don’t sit well with many players, so while GW2 is not perfect, it is fun.
I just wanted to take some time and say thanks, and add a little positivity to the boards.

Achievements are stilled bugged after the “fix”. I’m at 9 achievements but only 7 show.
I have the following Dragon Bash achievements:
Zhaitasty
Case Closed
Ceremony and Acrimony
Hard Boiled
Every Piece Matters
No More Secrets
Dragon Ball Devotee
Meet the Hosts
Color the Sky
Any word on this fix?

That sucks if the PvP achievements do not count towards the wings. There is no mention of this on the wiki either.

Hello one of my Dragon Bash achievements are not counting towards the total in order to get the Dragon Wings. I believe it is the 250 Zhaitaffy achievement that is not counting towards the 8.

I hope so. The client has been working fine for me, and I know from the forums here others are having issues, so this would definitely be a GREAT step in the right direction for Mac support.

This story instance is whoopin me! Can any one give some pointers on how to beat this? I’m lvl 17, all my gear is updated. Running Pistol/Shield, but been switching to bomb kit.

Put RP next to a server, allow a free window of time for players to migrate. Problem solved.

How do you expect people to help with your issue if we don’t know your Mac specs? Can a mechanic properly diagnose your car without looking it? Can a doctor properly prescribe you the proper medicine without a diagnosis?

Does this happen every time you log in? I think someone in another thread that those with integrated cards like yours will have issues. I’ll try to find that thread and post it in here.
