I wouldn’t move to a T1 server for all the gold in Tyria, ZergvsZerg is only small scale in the mid tiers and it’s already making me consider quitting WvW for good.

Same issue here.

I enjoy the community on GH, I have fun with my guild and the WvW community attitude is, mostly, pretty awesome whether we’re winning or losing.

It’s all good on GH for me.

But pride in a server? Not so much.

You may not believe it, but this isn’t fun for some of us on GH either. Logging on to a blue map may be glorious for some people, but for me personally it’s just a sign I should go lurk in PvE instead. I’m not belittling your point, and it might look like whining ‘cause we’re winning, but there are always other perspectives.

It’s also worth remembering, that while it’s little comfort to you now, GH has been on the receiving end of the same kind of zerg-stomping/PvD night capping you’re currently experiencing. We began to pull ourselves back up even before Xoac joined, though the rise would have been much slower and infinitely more enjoyable.

I (and I would hope many others) do sympathise, we don’t think it’s awesome or funny that your WvW experience (and by extension that of your PvE’ers) is being ruined by server hoppers and we hope stability returns to these tiers as soon as possible.

Not everyone loves the zerg, whether they’re being zergged on, or forced to zerg themselves.

Stick it out FR and BT, enjoy what you can when you can (fun is still possible, though it may seem difficult to find) and I hope next week is better for you.

This bug still persists on my Guardian, usually when moving to LA or WvW. This has been an issue for a good couple of months now and still no viable fix has been presented. The above suggestions have not helped me or, it seems, many of the others suffering from similar problems.
Now Anet has gone silent on the issue (unless I’ve missed an announcement or some such?).
So I wonder is there any chance this is going to be fixed, or are we just wasting our time necroing dead threads every couple of weeks?
I don’t mean to bash on Anet, I appreciate they have to prioratise and, for the most part, I’ve had only good experiences where they’re concerned, but seriously… I want to play my Guardian.

Restarted, updated, cannot log in.

Glad to hear some of you are enjoying fighting SOE, we’re having a lot of fun this week, the big fights and the small are all helping us to improve as a team and recruit new members. We’re looking forward to more, so keep it coming.

Oh, and we have high hopes for an intense Friday night finish, so don’t disappoint us!

Great write-up of an epic fight!

The guild/inter-server politics and the numbers involved don’t really interest me, so I won’t get involved in that. What I would like to say is that the fight at Bay (what I caught of it) was intense and a lot of fun, that’s all that counts to me. So nice job to everyone involved, awesome fights like that make me feel WvW is worth sticking with at a time when reading some of the forum posts can begin to suck the fun out of it. I hope we see more battles like ‘The Battle of Dreaming Bay’ as the week progresses.

And we really need to change the S in SOE to Suicide, it’s fast becoming our MO…

Seems to be confined to this character, hasn’t affected my Mes or my War so far. It occurs mostly in LA and, most annoyingly, in WvW when initially trying to enter and when trying to switch borderlands.

Seems to happen mostly on an evening for me; 6pm (GMT) onwards.
