Can i ask what is the internet connection speed for the game servers.

Tried that but in any windowed mode my fps falls to 10>12, where i am full screen at 60 fps

main is acer x34a Predator running at 3440 × 1440. Second monitor is an LG W2363D running at 1920 × 1080

i have 2 monitors on my comp and when playing gw2 in full screen 3440 × 1440 i cant move my mouse cursor over to my other screen it hits a brick wall on the main screen, is this normal or can it be fixed in some way..

Yes i am having the exact same problem fps has fell through the floor. Also can anyone tell me why when using 2 monitors if the game is running fullscreen why cant i move my mouse cursor over to my other screen, will only move over with the game in windowed mode…

Well we had build templates in guild wars 1 which were invaluable to me so I was disappointed when gw2 did not have this facility..

Hi guys the story mission bitter sweet has a bug when you get up to fight faolin if you die and select go to checkpoint you are stuck behind an invisible wall with your character off the ground and you cant get back into game to fight. This has occured with 2 of my characters, even caithe and Marjory are stuck here with me, and there is no way out other than to log out and come back in and start the mission over again.

I am wondering if the faults are due to a memory problem, i have 16Gb ram in a 32bit comp, according to the resource manager my physical memory is 3011 Mb. If i have windows task manager running showing the performance tab and i try to start the game when i get to the character select screen memory usage is at 2.25Gb when the toon loads into game memory usage rises to 2.88 and the game crashes as if you had shut the window. So am i running out of physical memory which may mean upgrading to a 64 Bit operating system which has access to 2 Tb ram. But i do wish anet could get this sorted i am loosing good gaming time…

It is now the day after launch, I still can not get past gather at the rally point leading into the maguuma jungle on the prologue mission. Your “hotfix” yesterday allowed us a place to get back into the instance in silverwastes, BUT the game still crashes everytime I try to run past Taimi up to the the final step of this storyline. This is absolute BS that people like me paid $100 to be unable to even get in the zone and I’ve waited patiently a WHOLE DAY. COME ON ANET, you should be able to fix a problem preventing players from stepping into your new content.

I still have no way to get back in the instance… There is no green star anywhere on my map. Zoning out of SW, changing to my personal story, reloging do nothing… Yesterday’s hotfix did absolutely nothing for my account. So frustating beeing locked out of the new content and stuck in SW…

I am in the same boat when my toon loads in the game shuts down with no chance to fill in the error report. Personally i think to launch HoT and the halloween celebrations at the same time was nothing but a recipe for disaster they should have ignored halloween and concentrated on HoT….

Maybe it’s a basic stuff but I’m looking for help everywhere. I can’t access my toons. After I log into my acount I land on the menu where I’m supposed to choose with who am I going to play. No matter which character icon I double click, the game logs me in, I spawn in the zone and bum! then the game crashes and kicks me out of the game. It happens every time since yesterdays’ patch downloaded…. Does anybody else experienced this? CAn anyone help me?

This is the exact same problem i have ticket has been submitted and test results sent in now awaiting further instructions….

It is way past time that Anet should be replying to this and letting us know what is happening..

Is anyone having problems trying to purchase gems from the trading post i have tried a couple of payment cards and keep getting the response ( an error has occurred please try later )..

My god i’m 55 years old also disabled, i read that post now my face is all wet. Come on Anet for that post you could do just one thing create a one of Taimi character skin for Christine to use possibly town only but i would let her use it out in the field, the character retains it’s original weapon and armour stats but christines character is seen in the golem. Anyone else tried increasing virtual memory yet. Just remember it aint a permenant fix for anet it is just a workaround. So far I am still working ok..

Ok i looked at the crash report that GW2 made on my comp and they all say ran out of memory. So on Win 7 there is a gadget that lets you watch cpu load and percentage of memory usage, with game off memory usage is 35% with game running memory usage rises to 87% and climbs very slowly as you play until it crashes out. My comp has 16Gb ram so i decided to look at my virtual ram settings and they were set for windows to decide size of virtual ram, so i have changed this to manual and have set my virtual ram at 5Gb max/min and have played all day with no faults. And memory usage meter shows 72% constant. So i have had fun again, (hope it hold out)..

The thing i see is that all other games on my computor all work perfectly including GW1, Crysis, Resident Evil nothing else on my machine causes any problems so the problem must be GW2. But i hold no hope for a fix especially as the support ticket page did not appear to work properly, i suspect that the 2 files they require did not go with the ticket..

I ran the game advisor program and when i tried to attatch the 2 required files to the support ticket i dont think the attatcher bit worked properly as the blue spinning dots just kept spinning round for ages. W ill have to wait for a reply from the techs to see if the files went ok… Most frustrating.

Oh well I got my mission done but when zoning to next part the minute I clicked on a waypoint the same problem occurred

This is totally pointless I am trying to do my living story mission called Forging the Pact and all that happens is the kitten serious error message keeps coming up and kicking me out the game. I have renewed root certs as suggested and it made no difference I now feel I cannot carry on. I followed and loved all of GW1 and I feel let down by anet with this prob…

Can i ask why do you come to this answer and what do these root certificates do. As i have the same prob today in particular i have been plagued with the serious error message when either bringing up the guild roster or zoneing sometimes even bringing up the inventory..

Due to a disability i have the one thing i would want to have from GW1 is the targeting system where you pressed CTRL+C then spacebar to attack. When targeting in GW2 i find character loses the target and you have to set it again. And one other thing would be when loot is dropped for us why have a stupid sparkly thing which in the heat of battle you cant see , why not the name of the loot as in GW1. Simple’s…
