Sure, sometimes you get people who deserve a kick, no one is disputing that. The point of this thread is that the way the system is setup now it’s very easy for 2 people in a party to grief another via the kick system with a very small chance of repercussions. This is a video game and there are plenty of immature people who enjoy doing things like kicking to get their friend an easy dungeon completion.
Simply changing the kick requirement to 4 votes would reduce griefing substantially and still give parties the ability to remove problem players.
4 is overdoing it. What if one guy is a total moron and he brought along a friend? I think 3 is the perfect spot.
I disagree, if a single person is truly impeding a groups dungeon progress you will have no issues getting 4 votes.

100 pristines should get you a weapon skin imo.
Similar thing happened to me last night. Really irritating being griefed out an hour+ by being kicked on the last fractal. I hope this is tops on Anets to fix list.
I hope this issue is on Anets radar. They should make it 4 people required for a kick and the chat logs should remain after. The system right now is totally in the griefer’s favor.
I was kicked on the last fractal (swamp) to be replaced by a guildmate. Is this considered griefing? What can I do about it?
Edit: Let me just say that I wasn’t playing bad or causing problems. I simply got screwed over by this group.

It was nerfed 100%.
I have the same issue. Random roll back, specially around lions arch and surrounding areas.
Spent over half an hour on this and didn’t get my daily cause I couldn’t get past 20%, but I think I see what we were doing wrong now. We didn’t realize it had to be a damaging combo field, so I kept dropping water and ice and WTFing when we didn’t get the combo kill.
PS: Turning off autoattack and only using 100% combo finishers is probably a good idea
It was bugged. There was no right way of doing it. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn’t.
I couldn’t get my laurel because of it. :<
I know it’s just a daily but it killed my excitement about the new content after I spent almost an hour trying to get this achievement and failing at 9/10 right before reset.

Charr fractal on my human warrior always made me regret not rolling Charr.
rifle sucks, autos are bad, adrenal is bad, 4 is bad.

As a ranger I love the crap out of radiation field. I think that pain inverter can be useful in WvW. Does retaliate block damage as well as reflect it?

These are my thoughts on how a thief should work in PvP:
A thief’s gameplay should be using stealth to pick off weakened targets, not burst people from full health.
A thief’s escape mechanism should not be stealth if he was just in combat.
A thief’s escape needs to require skill and planing on the part of the thief.
today when i open the forums i saw at least 10 diferent topics with tons of replays regarding how OP is the thief, so i decided to equip my guardian to see how i deal with them. I spent 2500 badges and arround 30 gold. Result was – 20.000 HP -3300 armor .
Went in wvw to search for some thieves but 50 enemy’s zerg was in front on my supply camp. in 20 minutes i made 140 kills with an single dead .Stand constantly in front of enemy zerg , Block 3 attacks with focus / use shield buble – knockback 10 enemy’s at once, put wall of reflection and sanctuary on the ground, and smite at random locations was all i did.
So why should i stay on thief and make 1 -2 random kills in 10 minutes ? when i can literaly walk intro 30 + enemy’s zerg, stay there for 10 seconds then walk away
Translation: Please don’t nerf my thief.
So today I was killed by a thief 4 times in a row with 5 of my allies reviving and trying to take him out standing on top of me. Guess if he got away or not.
Thieves and mesmers… what were they thinking?
Stealth/burst/stealth/burst/stealth ad nauseam is pretty broken.
Burst/stealth/burst/stealth to infinity is only fun for the thief player.
they demand thief nerfs simply because your the most irritating class in the game. able to go into battle with no risk at all and 3 shot players. and get out alive. able to disengage the fight anytime you wish by simply using C&D. You can spam heartseeker and do 3k to 5k damage per hit. plus more if crit.
Basically any new person can create a thief go into pvp and auto attack ppl to death without even using any skills with a basic GC build. thats why people are mad at you enjoy the complaining xD lol
This is the problem in a nutshell. 0 risk engagement and disengagements and an easy 75% burst.
All of you CRYING noobs are calling for nerfing burst. I SAY NERF BUNKERING. Bunkering is more OP than burst. Think about it.
Bunker is a response to the burst. You can’t nerf one with out the other.
Not sure. I see bunkers being bursted down as well.
Thiefs need a bit of a rework.
