I know a lot of people voted yes to the map and do not like it. Devs posted that they wouldn’t be doing continue work on maps if the desert BL was voted No to. So people voted for it in hopes that they would put work into it, and maybe even other maps. The problem is, here we are and no work being put into WvW maps. I would gladly change my Yes to a No at this point.
Really Bad story telling. Braham acting like a child is Dishonoring his own Mother’s Name. makes me wish it was a do whatever you want story so I could kill Braham. It did however kill my interest in continuing the living story.
Fix out numbered matchups.
Return server identity, or get rid of it for all.
Balance for each game mode.
Make outnumbered buff give stats that help in a fight.
The developers HAVE been paying attention to WvW, unless you were asleep for the the past few patch cycles. Every single patch since summer has contained significant WvW-minded contributions and adjustments.
Not all commanders, or servers are this way. I even at times will Tag up on my front line druid build. KoR on IOJ Hosts Ranger/Druid Zerg nights that I have had the honor to tag up for as well.
Oh god this is going to alienate a lot of people, and make them feel like what they contribute isn’t worth while, driving more people away from WvW. Please do not make one time zone of scoring worth more than any other time. And this is coming from a NA prime time player. Last thing we need is people leaving WvW again.
I love IOJ, and said I would stay as long as we had people to follow me when I tagged up. And while all 5 of the IOJ people left still follow when I tag up, I’m totally willing to Transfer servers at this point. Funny before i came and read this post i changed my guild MOTD to who is willing to Transfer? The question is what server do we bring our our remaining people to?
Personally don’t like the change. They need to focus on fixing bugs before changing mechanics. Also I love getting some free kills off people picking up the downed.
I don’t really see any of these changes doing anything to help the current state of WvW. Out of guildies that have left not one of them have read those changes and said YES!!! THIS IS WHAT I MOTHERkittenING ASKED FOR THANK YOU ANET.
I would rather they fix the walls then waste time on these changes.
