SMS verification is not working anymore for me. It started to call me instead of sending sms, and while I check remember this network, it still do not. And since it started calling instead of sending sms, there will be always 2 or 3 dropped calls until it finally works and give the code. However, as I said, it does not remember the network, so I had to remove sms verification, as it asks every time for verification.
And then, every time I log in, it asks me about activating sms verification, regardless if I check ask me later, and just restart the client, it will ask all the time.

I know the folks in Anet have the best of the intentions, but all they do in pvp start from a flawed premisse: Everyone playing pvp is playing to win.

The old system allowed some “unworthy” people to rise up, but compared to what it is now, it was golden.

This new system is a bad idea badly done. So you have a “start test”, so you have a marvelous “matchmaking” for speed queues. It is predicated in that flawed assumption and forces people to be judged by the team they are in.

No matter how much effort and skill you put on playing, if you get 5 teams composed of people who are there just for loot and park in the middle of the map fighting all matches, you will be judged as bad as they are.

There is no single reason for people to make an effort to play skillfully if they get a bad team of bad people who are intentionally bad.

The changes just made it worse. Now you are stuck with the luck (or lack of) that you have in the first fights, because you forever matched with that you were before.

Still, it avoids nothing you said it does, because people can just play in certain times of the day, make 2 teams of 2 and be very often matched one with another, and if they dont, they know who they are playing against, and make just a compadre match.

In the end, you just did what often people do when they dont understand their crowd and just their system: you punished the ones doing right along with those doing wrong.

Jumping Puzzle "shoving"

I really hope Anet is done with jumping puzzles.
Everything you journey to do gets you to jumping puzzles.
They add new features, but it has to do with jumping puzzles. They add new endeavours, but it has to do with jumping puzzles.
Crafting, if you want to explore it to the fullest, you gotta do a half dozen jump puzzles.
You want to get mastery points, you gotta do jumping puzzles.
You want to get gear, at some point, you have to do jumping puzzles or hundreds of other things instead, your choice.

It may be fun for those who likes it, but it is really boring to do the same jumping puzzle all the time you need some new thing that is added by that particular jumping puzzle.

We could have an Account Bound item like a Magic Map, which transfers the map completion from one Character to another, ofc, preventing that other character to achieve the map completion bonus.

It is really hard to make map completion just for the sake of better travel and etc when you did it for a bunch of other characters.

Had my fair share of guild management, not only in GW. I am not persuing the “stardom” with this guild. Dont want a big guild actually. Size was one of the main reasons I left the one I was. But the input was appreciated. Thanks.

From some time I have been playing lone wolf style and made a guild for my alts. Some time ago I’ve quit my guild because it wasnt my thing anymore (hardcore pvp and wvw).

My alts guild became my only guild and I got it upgraded to lvl 4 plus economy lvl 5.

I would really like to get that guild to be a real guild, aimed to events and leveling, and anything else the people in it want, even if I myself wont be the shot caller on those.

Any ideas, plans and stuff will be welcome.

And still the same right now. You cant finish the event in certain circumstances. I did the event once, and I know how to end it, but somethings it just stucks there.

norn elementalist lore wise?

In this regard GW2 lore is much more friendly than most mmos. The profession is called Elementalist, which related to the elements. The kind of relation the race have with the elements can vary without nulifing the profession itself. Similarly you have the Guardian, which is like a Paladin of sort, but Paladin would bring the notion of church, human, and all that. A Guardian on the other hand can draw power from any kind of righteous power. Same for every profession. None of them suggests race specific or invalid race possiblity.

If you really pay attention to detail, Norn do not look like tall humans. First, the women do look more “human” than man, but the proportions of the bodies is heavly different. It is not just being tall, but norn have deltoids, trapezius and limb lenght much bigger than the rest of the body. If I am not mistaken, everything but the height is similiar to what some people propose neanderthals looked like.

You may not realize it, but it doesnt matter how good someone is in PvP, a small group of people cannot do something about it when a server isnt capable of conquering bases. Basically you prevent people from a non-pvp oriented server majority from completing exploration just because there are PvP objectives involved.
