Hey, I have a lot of possible weapon combos in mind, but I don’t know which one to choose from. I would like to know which combos you think are best/ most fun to play with. My priorities are, in order of importance: 1. Is it fun? 2. Is it good? Will I not die super-easily? and 3. Will I look like a boss with certain armor/ weapon types on?

So, without further adue, I present to you, my list of possible combos:

Guardian
- Human w/ Scepter+Shield

Ranger
- Human w/ Any Bow + Stalker Pet
- Norn w/ Any Bow + Any Pet

Mesmer
-Scepter + Dagger
-Dagger + Dagger

Necro
Scepter + Dagger
Dagger + Dagger

I don’t really understand what condition damage really is. I know that it’s like a small boost, but how do I take the most advantage from it? Btw thx for answering guys

I would pick Guardian if I were you, but of course Guardian doesn’t have ranged attacks. However, due to Guardians being sort of a “tanky” kind of class, it could fix the issue where you’re “in melee range and all you see is crap piled on top of each other and then you’re dead.”

Hey guys, I’m want to create a new character, but I’m stuck between a ranger, guardian, or necromancer. I don’t really know anything about anything, so I don’t really know which one is more powerful or fun. I was hoping you guys would help me decide between these 3 and what race I should use. What I want in my character is a decent amount of power so I don’t get totally destroyed in both pvp and pve, and I want him to look cool. I don’t really care about racial bonuses, unless it’s like a cool-looking piece of armor or something. Oh, and also I roll solo, none of my friends play this game. THx in advance guys
