I would pick a middle tier server, for example Ehmry Bay is the only server Ive played on. It varies quite differently in number based on the time of the week and time of day. On reset night we can queue every borderland and have 50 vs 50 man zerg fights. Other nights a 3 man group can take half a borderland before the enemy gets wise and they wp out and repeat elsewhere. So in other words we have a lot of times where we will have medium/big size zerg balls but like 80% we have the population to where a small havoc group can make a noticeable difference.
Is stealth stomp OP..maybe
I remember tabbing through a large group I came across and finding an uplevel with low health in the middle so I ran in, heartseekered him down, and through up a shadow refuge to stomp him and escape while standing in the middle of the group.
Could another class have pulled that off, doubtful. But was it a game changer/ big deal at all…no.
So sure in the 1v1 it might be a bit much. But in the grand picture its not that big of an issue.
So true, I read this thread a day or two ago and was like, yah could be annoying but its no big deal. Then the other day we were assaulting bay and this ele, a commander btw which was laughable, literally jumped off the wall, swung willy nilly at people and rams, got downed, misted back in and rezzed, and repeated atleast 10 times. Like wtf. He wasnt really a harm because we would down him as he jumped but kitten it was annoying.
1) all of that could be said in one post
2) golems have thier uses, atleast before siege was cheap enough to build 50 ACs at a tower it was pretty hard to stop a golem.
3) just build them at camps and wp them back.
But who wants to stand inside a cap circle for 20 minutes if theres no one fighting them.
I dont know if I would say least beneficial to play. If I go into WvW for an hour or two I can make nearly a gold and ~40 badges, and Im sure there are classes out there that can do a lot better depending on class/skill/playstyle. Thats not even if there is a nice karma train going. I find that a lot better than say cursed shore farming.
Or you could just get lucky and get a cursed loadstone and exotic leggings within 10 minutes like I did yesterday and make 3g right away.
But no precursor, my rank up chests have been garbage.
Im sure its been done but havent found anyone mention it or anything, so I figured Id post for you to enjoy.
(video quality isnt great because of Windows Movie Maker, cant find a better freeware yet)
do note I am not begging for views or anything, there’s not even tags on the vid its just for fun
EDIT: Not sure why its forcing this to be a question and why there is a giant whitespace, stupid BBcode

Ok so Im going the traditional high crit/backstab thief. Right now with no daggers equipped at all I get 42% crit chance and 72% crit dmg. And thats only with masterwork trinkets and major runes on armor. So theres still much room for improvment. My problem right now is finding nice daggers. The cheapest zerker stat daggers are 4g and 6g each. Both are ugly as all hell so it’d cost another ~4g each to reskin them to something tolerable. I dont exactly have ~20g to drop on daggers when I still have a set to finish. So i was considering going for the Moonshank instead, which will be -26power, +26precision, and cond dmg instead of crit dmg difference from zerker stats. This happens to also look very nice (was the skin i originally wanted) and is only 4g which I wouldnt have to reskin.
So my question is, would it be terribly dumb to trade those stats off just to save gold/look nice, or will it not make much difference?
Im sure this toon has been made before just because its fairly easy to put together but its just so sexy,
I know there are many threads on this but everyone seems to have differing opinions plus a lot seems outdated. But I just reached level 80 and I wanted to get my gear started as Im still running all lvl 60 stuff. But since this will take a majority of my money/karma i want to get it right the first time. So any help would be a appreciated.
I mainly (as of yet) only play dungeons/world events/random PvE with a staff build. I tried picking up D/D a few times but Im just too used to staff. I also want to have a good amount of DPS while still having some survivability. For that reason I was thinking I should choose Sentinel gear P/V/T so that I can have both power and surivability. Is that a good idea or would zerkers be better in the long run as Eles are mainly wanted for more dmg output.
Also Ive heard you can get gear from karma merchants in Orr but that the stats arent always the same? Im not sure what that means. Like Sentinels wont always be P/V/T?
Like I said any help would be great.

Yah thats true I suppose, and Im gonna try it for a while anyway because I was already running the might stack cantrip build until I discovered Soothing Disruption too. Plus for the might + vigor alone its worth it I suppose the regen will just be a bonus. Ill look into working in some boon duration to help it out.
I was working on a build when I stumbled up something that I thought would be quite a nifty build. It involves using all three cantrip skills + Sooting Disruption + Spell Slinger traits. Spell slinger makes it so when you use a cantrip you get 3 stacks of might. Soothing Disruption makes it so when you use any of those cantrips you get regeneration and vigor. So I figured this would be a great build as at any time I could pop a skill and have instant DPS gain, while healing up any dmg, and being able to dodge out of more dmg faster.
The only problem Ive found with this is that the regeneration seems negligible. For example. Regens formula is:
5 + (1.5625 * Level) + (0.125 * Healing Power)
Im currently level 68 with 100 healing power. That makes it 123.75 hp a second for the full 7 seconds would let me regen about 866 hp out of my 12,400 total hp. While that is not afwul it is very slow and hardly noticable, especially if you take another hit it pretty much would have made no difference. But of course that is a very low healing power, what if I were to drop a bunch of equipment or runes into healing power to make the difference. So I substitued mt 100 healing power for 1000, not even sure if thta attainable, to see what changes it would make.
5 + (1.5625 * 68) + (0.125 *1000) = 236.25 * 7 = 1653.75.
So in other words I would have to have 10x the healing power just to double the hp regened. And even then its only 1600 out of 12,000 hp regened over a 7 second period. Plus at that point I would have to be pretty much spec’d for healing power instead of power/vit/etc. So is that really worth even using?
