Now if only you could merge the tabs instead of having all of the wasted space and needless scrolling. It works for inventory, next step = banks too.
I still have ascended MF on a character that doesn’t need a second set of ascended zerker trinkets. WTB account bound for usefulness.
PS: Is Drakevenom still coming out the Mystic Toilet as soulbound because it used to be MF stats? It surely was before Tuesday.
Maintenance looks to have fixed it (for now).
6 days now & still as broken as last week.
There are a number of suggestions that I’ve seen so far. The zoning one is often suggested. I just didn’t find that it worked for me.
This isn’t the first time that this problem has appeared but this is certainly the longest that it has lasted.
Apologies if this isn’t the correct sub-forum for this thread, please move it accordingly.
Anyway, for the last 3 days I have been unable to switch guilds (UI interface via ‘G’ or guild icon) successfully in PVE. The guilds are correctly listed and I’m usually repping correctly for whichever I logged out as.
Sometimes, bank NPCs refuse to recognise that my active guild has a bank available.
Zoning in PVE (in or out or LA for example) sometimes works according to the guild panel but bank NPCs still won’t respond correctly. Most of the time, these zoning events have no benefit (Represent button is clickable but has no effect).
If I go to WvW the guild stuff all works 100% of the time. Banking and switching never fails there. Needless to say, having to zone twice to switch guilds is hassle.
Others in the guild have the same issues at exactly the same times as my account.
This also impacts activating guild missions and interacting with mission NPCs.
I opened a ticket but it felt like a brush-off/non-response.
DAE have this problem just now?
When did it start?
Which server do you play on?
Does it still happen when guesting?
Is your account EU or NA?
Thanks for any feedback you can offer me. I’m getting tired of the basic mechanics not working.

Do we have a definitive answer as to why <80 characters get no fragments from content in low level zones?
Crafting isn’t level capped, why is the loot?
I’m having guild repping issues again today. It’s been OK for a week or so. The best plan may be to wait a few hours and see if it corrects itself.
Are you EU playing on NA?

Yeah, level 80’s are fine but I’ve not seen any on lower levels. Anyone got success/failure to get an idea of where the cutoff might be?
Agreed, I have several lowbies (pre-scroll) that each have at least one 400 crafting profession learned. I wasn’t aware that there was (or should be) a level requirement for these JP fragments.
If a JP in Queensdale (1-15 zone) has a chest then the crafting mats shouldn’t really scale to the character level. Does anyone have confirmation?
So you can click to minimize or hide a notice such as the personal story description or the current LS announcement, that’s a start. What is then pointless is that if you wander in range of a dynamic event/complete a task/zone or whatever, this pinned state is lost.
If the minimized state is a user choice then it should persist until toggled back to visible by the user.
Ideally I’d like to unpin the month long waste of space that is the alert telling me that there’s a LS event running. There’s always a LS event running. If I’ve seen or acknowledged the alert, read the mails and visited the start NPC then there’s a pretty good chance that I’m aware that there is content I can do. I could use the ability to see looted items in more detail rather than the clutter in the top right corner obscuring them.
The same goes for personal story status. If I’m on an alt which has not done all the story for whatever reason then do I really need to be constantly reminded that there’s a story available?
I love some of the functionality here. The ability to track tasks that I’m working on is great. The problem is when there is so much clutter that it almost knocks onto the minimap at 1080 (small UI setting).
This is happening again for me too. I last had this problem around 6-8 weeks ago. Since yesterday I’ve had to go into WvWvW to switch guilds. I also had to use a WvWvW NPC at one point since the city guild bankers insisted that I wasn’t repping ANY guild let alone the correct one.
Also impacted were guild missions where I could not activate queued missions and had to invite a friend into my personal guild to kick things off.
Dropping to character select doesn’t fix the problem. Fully closing and restarting the game via the launcher has no positive effect either.
Yeah me too today.
My ISP isn’t Virgin Media but 470ms latency for me when I logged out last night. That’s more than triple what I’m seeing in other titles and far worse than usual for GW2. Raised a ticket for this issue.

I had severe lag last night, probably the worst since launch. Even in crowded areas such as the new JP, my FPS was always 40-60 (so not graphical lag). I had to stop playing as it was like watching a slideshow. This was happening even when I was in the middle of nowhere, soloing some trash mobs. At an event I continued fighting for 25% of the boss health after it had died.
No other game or website had any slowdown during this time. I thought that it was fixed today as I played for a couple of hours on and off but then it came back about an hour ago. Same story, connection is fine, other games are fine, voice comms are fine, PC is fine, etc. The only thing suffering is GW2 which is unplayable again.
I did try forcing a port 80 connection but that didn’t help at all. Packets take forever from GigabitEthernet5-0-0.GW12.DFW9.ALTER.NET [152.63.97.90] to 65.205.119.210 and then onwards until the trace completes (240-260ms).
Tests to p4-23-c0-ncdc-pub.plaync.net [206.127.158.1] took 39-47ms by comparison.

Happens to me a lot in WvWvW and the start of the Maw fractal (100% on the first Maw platform jump). Like the other posters here, I never once had this issue before the 30th of April patch.
I fell in a puzzle today and ran around for almost a full minute before taking a single point of damage. During this time I could cast skills and chat in party window. Then I caught the fall damage => one-shot defeated.
Please fix this or post an acknowledgement/update on this issue.

It’s not /guild chat so it shouldn’t be in that panel. Read the OP. 0/10 for trolling.
The new dance item produces an onscreen message but also echoes in red text into every chat pane. Whether this invitation is ‘owner’ triggered or timed, why is this spam unblockable?
I switched to my personal guild and took the screenshot below. The guild chat panel is set to only display /guild and nothing else. The image is from around 2 minutes in LA. Also, this is just with one person having the item active. With multiple people using it, will we get endless spam from each source that is unblockable and renders all channels unreadable in cities?
Apologies in advance if there is already a way to prevent red text filling tabs that it’s not applicable to and I’ve overlooked it.

Bounties seem to have changed for the worse. Some targets now refuse to be found while others scale poorly for decent sized parties. Been wasting a lot of time on them this week.
This issue still exists as of today.
Yup, I know. There’s already a combat log in the game. I would just like one that tracked damage correctly. No more ‘Unknown hit you…’ or ‘… for xyz damage using<insert missing skill name here>.’
Damage from bosses and environmental sources would also be appreciated. The GW2 client combat log just seems very basic and/or incomplete at present.

Guild members are reporting issues where only the party leader gets a stick and only the party leader gets to progress to Zone 2 (via dialog & teleport) once the first zone is complete.
The party leader was also the only person to get achievement progress.

My male Charr has this bug on Heavy Heritage chest armor. My male Norn does not. It’s clear that the armor simply ignores whatever color is used in position #4 (lower right) for that armor piece in the dye picker.

Also stop it auto-expanding every time you zone. This happens even when it’s previously been clicked on to minimize the clutter.
+1 this topic. Officer in a maxed guild since launch, Every week we have to expend more effort than we should into best-guessing the MIAs to clear room for applicants. This is basic guild interface functionality and should have taken priority over the ability to see crafting levels in the roster.
Even if it’s added as a tick-box toggle similar to the ‘Achievements’ option, at least add this information for us please.
Any word on when non-launcher sessions will be able to use the Trading Post correctly as they did before the Feb 26th update?
Where is the option to hide player titles? I understand that I can hide all player names – that’s not what I’m after. I’d like to go back to pre-patch where I could see player names and guild tags but not their vanity titles.
Personally this is too cluttered for me. Ideally I’d like options for ‘show only party names’ or ‘show only guild names’ but my main interest is the option to revert this latest visual change as soon as possible.
