Ranger Water Spirit - Underwater bug

Spirits are supposed to die when their active ability is used. However, Water Spirit (heal spirit) does not die when its Aqua Surge active ability is used underwater. All other spirits behave (die) correctly underwater, and Aqua Surge properly kills the spirit on land.

Yeah, I’m super excited about the fire wyvern. I can’t wait to play with it! Something I noticed in the video, though… it looks like the fire field starts in one location, and slowly expands as the wyvern circles, dealing damage starting in the center and eventually expanding outward. It looked like the start point of the field was from where the wyvern took off. I’m hoping that gets tweaked a bit… It would be way more awesome if the field started at the targeted enemy’s location, and expand outward from the enemy.

As demonstrated by a huge number of posts, a lot of loyal players are feeling hurt and insulted by the pricing for the expansion. A good compromise would be to include at least 1-2 extra character slot with the standard edition when applied to an existing account (0 extra slots for new accounts), and increase the deluxe/ultimate editions to 2-3 extra character slots when applied to an existing account (keeping it at 1 extra slot for new accounts).

By doing this, all current players would be able to try out the Revenant class without needing to delete a character or pay an additional $10/800 gems (Additional cost on top of the expansion just to experience included content? No thanks!), and deluxe/ultimate editions would still have additional incentives.

This would put it a bit more in line with how the Guild Wars 1 expansion campaigns were priced, too. I don’t know if it would make everyone happy, but it would be a great gesture.

Absolutely terrible news. I want SAB back – it’s so much fun! I want to use my Infinite Continue Coin again. I want to earn more of the SAB weapon skins. Come on, at least give us access to what has already been completed in SAB! It could even tie it in with Taimi going back to school somehow if you really need some a living story hook.

So, I may have a kind of a solution to the PvE/WvW gear template problem:

In addition to the skin wardrobe, perhaps create a gear stats wardrobe. That is, a place where stat sets are stored when you soulbind/salvage particular pieces of gear. It could be a soulbound (per-character) gear stats wardrobe to reduce impacts on the gear economy, but I’d prefer it to be account-wide unlocks.

Sigils and runes could even be included in this stats wardrobe. Maybe allow up to two of each sigil to be loaded into it – if you only have one sigil in your stats wardrobe, you’re only able to use that sigil on one of the weapons in the template – but if you have two you’re able to load it onto two of the weapons in the template. A similar idea with runes, in that you’d have to load six runes into your wardrobe to be able to use the entire rune set’s bonus in a template.

Shortcut worm definitely works in tribulation mode, I’ve used it many times.

However, there does seem to be a bug with the green cubes of death. When you run into one, the green cube of death disappears, but the area where it used to be will still kill you.

Here are a couple of changes that I think would vastly improve Rangers and their pets:

  1. Heal As One. Currently, I think this is the least useful Ranger healing skill. A good way to improve it would be to give it the ability to revive a downed pet. When using Heal As One with a downed pet, make it rez the pet with however much health the heal skill would normally provide.
  2. Rampage as One. It’s already a rather good elite, but since half of its power is in applying the buffs to the pet too, it is usually a bad idea to use while the pet is downed/low on health. Ideally, I’d like to see this elite provide a 100% heal to the pet (reviving downed pets in the process). But, I realize this could be a bit too powerful. I’d settle for a 50% pet heal

As for pet dodging, I agree with the people who say that pets shouldn’t have a separate dodge button. That’s a bit too much micro-management for me. Either make the “Return to Me” also trigger a dodge (possibly with a short cooldown on the dodge bit), or set it up so that the pet dodges whenever the player dodges (frequency obviously limited by the player’s stamina).

Holy kitten, this is amazing. I would play this for days on end.

Though, the loot bit may need a bit of work. How about also allowing loot on the corpse of each tower/keep’s boss mob, or maybe a chest with a decent chance of rares/exotics (similar to the world bosses, but with better loot tables)?

This is such a good idea! I love collecting skins, but I just have nowhere to put them now. This sounds like a perfect way to implement an ability for all of us collectors to go crazy. ANET, please implement this!

Just, one more thing to add: a tab for town clothes/costumes. The only reason that I haven’t bought any of them from the gem store yet is because I don’t have enough storage to keep the skins around!

I’m having the same issue… changed my password a couple days ago after receiving a verification e-mail for an unknown location/IP. Now, I get a disconnect with “Invalid Password” every few hours. How do I prevent this from happening? It’s very annoying getting booted from WvWvW and dungeons when this happens.
