Guild Wars 2

GW2 has been the biggest disappointment to me as a game. I played Everquest for 10 years straight without getting bored, and still play it off and on. I played GW for up until GW2 came out. So many things I loved about GW. Then GW2 with all it’s promise and polish I played the beta and was not happy. Then the release came and after a month I was ready to move on to another game. Here in lies the rub, GW2 is redundant and repetitive, and one huge grind not to mention YOU CAN NOT PLAY THE WAY YOU WANT TO! But Guild Wars 2 also ruined every other game out there for me due to the fact that the one thing they did right is the MOVEMENT. Best movement of any MMORPG out there! It’s a shame they messed everything up that they had right in GW.

Yes post on the suggestion forums is the only response I can get.

I also lost 1.5 gold so I have to blame Anet for putting this in the game especially in a low area like that. I was just clicking trying to get to the way point and not reading. My bad for not reading, but then it’s the first time I ran into anything like this. Anet just wants us to buy gems so they are sucking our gold from us anyway they can.

Oh well easy come and really easy to go.

Don’t hold your breathe. One thing you can be sure of….they don’t care. Wish they did, but I had the same problem in GW1 and hope things would get better, but I can see it’s the same old Anet. As long as they are making money they can afford to ignore those of us that don’t see their game through rose colored glasses.

Anet has our money and they are doing what they want to heck with the people that play their games. They change, stuff take stuff out of the game and think we should love it. More and more I am wishing that I had not bought this game. It’s an amazing game and fun to play but then Anet keeps tweeking this or that we no regards to the players. Personally I don’t think most of these game companies care. They make their money on 80% of the satisfied players and to bunk with the 20% that whine and complain about all their great changes. Blah.

It really would be nice if we were allowed to order the skills on our weapons in the order that best suits our play style, thus not being stuck to play the char like the dev would. For instance for me any ground targeting would be in the 5th slot.

Just Map walk through the boring stuff that’s what I do. I think Anet said no mounts or flying cause they wanted you to have to walk through their visually stunning world and didn’t want you to miss one awesome pixel.

I have been saving up my Captain’s Council Commendation and they have been taken out of the game. That part about them being taken out of the game find so the donation packaging out of the game fine, however, taking the vendor out as well? WHY! Some of us still have Captain’s Council Commendation saved up. So now i have 883 of them, now I am told that they are useless!? If the vendor had been left in the game say a month after the donation packaging had been taken out then those of us that didn’t read about the vendor being taken out of the game would still have time to use what we could of our commendations. Further more back when I played EQ if they changed an item or took it out of the game then the said item was either changed into a new item or the player was provided with a way of converting them to something useful. Now I am being told too bad so sad, we don’t care about the time or in game money you used to acquire these Captain’s Council Commendation we took them out and your left holding them useless as they are. For crying out loud you could of at lest gave them a vendor sell back price.

So what do we have to look for in the future? Dungeon tokens being done away with and peeps who have been saving up and miss out on those tokens being taken out of the game being told it’s a hard knock life?

What other content is going to be changed with players being told “Oh you missed the announcement about this or that content being taken out of the game? Too bad now all that stuff in the bank is useless. Oh your not happy just post a reply on our support board.”!!! REALLY?

a not so happy GW2er

This is the 3rd time I have killed Shatter and no chest spawned for me. This is really getting old!

This game has great graphics, great game play, and the best sounds I have had in a game in a long time. The classes are fun to play. What the game lacks…purpose. This game is one big grind. The quest or hearts are just cut and pasted, they are the same from one to 80. The personal storyline starts off slightly different then quickly becomes the same story for all chars. This game will be short lived IMHO amongst the hardcore gamers. I don’t like to have to grind for gold. I rather grind for my level. Honestly some of the graphics for gear are awful. Then there is community, guilds don’t even have a guild hall, let alone a reason to really banned together. Peeps on the battle field have very little to group unless your friends. Then there is The Hall of Monuments or as it should be refereed to is the Hall of Wasted time in GW1. 3 out of 5 stars from me. Already looking to see what is coming out in the near future in the MMO world.
