i think we need answers, if Anet understood the amount of rumors going around about how WvW has turned into a money grab with the world linking they might actually understand that these posts are posted because people believe these rumors and would like some answers

these posts simply require a simple post EG why is this server not linked all anet has to do is say because blah blah server has a population off %105 rather than locking them and annoying the players.

it clear to see that Anet staff are getting annoyed by the volume of them being made so why not have a WvW Q&A ? or a FQA post at the top with replies to the most asked questions ? this would lower the amount of them being made,

Always has and always was a community issue. People choose to over stack servers, not Anet.

Anet is responsibly for locking them to stop them being overstacked, but its how they make money! shame how the players suffer for them to make money.

how does this work, well its very simple the process is broken, almost every player knows there is a same amount of people who will always jump to the sub server of server 1,2,3 this means they will stay as 1,2,3

SFR and ER seem to be very underpopulated compared to these other servers that they face, SFR is not high population as shown on the server list as they can hardly get 70 players on for reset. and in the week they might be lucky to get 50, if it has a high population you would expect at least double that.

doubt things will change as its a way anet makes money but they need to look into making it smoother, why don’t they lock both servers if they have 100% population combined, and then leave the lower populated ones open to try and even things out. rather than locking the main server and leaving the sub server open because when the top servers get new links the people just jump back to the same server but on its new link messing up the entire process for another 2 months,

additionally you need to fix the reset process on what server gets placed with who. as i dont see why 2nd place is matched with 11th and 10th ? they should surly be put with people around the 10th place mark ? not the 2nd top server ?

so it said 1 ‘Amber Copper Amulet’ was ordered for 11s 19c and i was able to sell 90! amulets before the Order dropped to the next one of 11s 18c – this is happen more and more i have noticed but didn’t expect it to be out by 90!

this is either a bug or the server lagging and not updating. i hope the person has only received 1 and not the 90 i sold to there order?

if any of the game devs have done scribing they know your inventory gets filled with crafting stuff that you cant sell or deposit. can we please sort this ? either by making it depositable or sellable.

This block has been here for a while now. it doesn’t cause any problems but it shouldn’t be here in game,

we think it could possibly be a bugged out decoration that’s gone invisible and stuck there when it has been removed OR it could just be a invisible block.

the what what window ? you mean the time when it spawns right ? me along with 40-50 people were doing the world boss chain and waited for around 15 mins for it to start. some one said in map chat it was broken earlier so i dint think it has anything to do with the time, unless they changed the time and the world boss timers are wrong.

if you read my post you would notice that we should not have to block these people ANET should be banning or muting them for abusing everyone, and attacking commanders / guilds / scouts verbally. blocking them only stops you from seeing them abusing people it doesn’t actually fix the server wide problem.

…..except everyone can block them….. so there is no server wide problem.
The only problem is you feel offended and you want some nanny to come make the mean people go away instead of using the tools they already provided to deal with it yourself.

Grow a thicker skin or block them…. this is such a weird thing to complain about.

Depending on what they say or do, you can report them for verbal abuse or spamming. The easiest option is to block them after doing so and tell everyone in your squad to block them so no one has to deal with it until Anet can handle them. There are tons of reports and only a few people to respond to them so it does take some time to be able to do so. 3 hours is not very much time to respond given the number of spam/ verbal abuse reports they receive. With the block and chat filters you get to see only what you want to see, so it isn’t like you are forced to see what they have to say, you do have control over that.

If they are siege trolling, I was told to report it as a bot so a GM will come watch them and see what they are doing and make a judgement call.

in my post i mentioned a guy that had been verbally attacking people in map chat for over 4 months. i would hope that it wouldn’t take then longer than this to sort these people out ? i understand they will not do anything in 3 hours but mentioned them as its been over 4 months of them doing this.

Some of those guys have been banned and came back and are still doing it.. They just keep getting banned and reinstated. I thought the only things that get people perma banned have to be really bad like hacking, RL death threats, Racist/sexist xenophobic stuff so it may take quite a bit over the troll line to actually get perma bannekitten

ot worried about a ban just a way to stop them getting a ‘lift’ from abusing people in map chat in WvW would work. If they could mute them or something that would remove the problem and still let them play WvW.

Does ANET have any stance on this issue ? do they allow it ? do they ignore it ?

every single server i have been on has one person who enters the map just to troll the commander or the guilds, via map chat abuse. When you look for them they are always standing at spawn AFK just talking utter rubbish to take the enjoyment out of the game.

Now you might be thinking ‘why don’t you just block them’ but should i have to block them ? NO they should not be a problem in the first place. The one i faced tonight was so toxic and rude to every one in that map and the entire server community it really disappointed me to hear the person had been around for over 4 months doing the same toxic abuse ! every single day. I had reported the person, due to there behavior and personal attacks towards the commander for the last 3 hours. but why is ANET not dealing with this issue ? Are they aware of the amount of toxic and abusive players in the WvW map chats

WvW to me has always been knows as a friendly place to talk with other people. but more recently it is a place that is full of chat trolls who do nothing but abuse people because they know they can get away with it without punishment.

i would like to know ANETS and others opinions on the matter please

so i am on a diffident server to the rest of my guild and when they are on there home BL and lets say they are red the name of the bl they are on shows MY servers bl opponent

example

they are on Aurora glade bl and that might be blue
however Gandarra is currently blue for me so instead of aurora glade bl it shows them to be on Gandara bl

20+ people keeps crashing exactly at the same time, we think it could be a skill bug that’s causing every one to crash?

WVW is basically unplayable constantly crash people have had 7 crashes in the last 20 minutes

just crashed log in and crash again along with 20 others from TS :/

Friday but back to the normal time people of about 7/8 pm reset

after you start and get to the tunnel entrance there is an invisible wall stopping you from progressing you then have to run all the way around and go back on yourself to get that flag.

please fix

this happened 3 years ago as some other fourm posts said

i was in the puzzle DC and now it has locked me out i enter portal and it loads the puzzle map then changes to Divinity’s Reach and takes me back out.

please fix as i am trying to get the wintersday falling snow collection skin.

this has been in the game since day 1 i do not believe it is a bug. if it was i think they would of removed it by now.

i remember Elis dragon tooth was best for doing this before they changed it

so we had 2 people DC and when they logged back in they had NO squad UI but we could still see them in the squad

when we went to kick them it said the user is unable to be found (the error message thats similar)

so we ended up with 8 doing a 10 man raid ?

is this suppose to happen ?

Fractals, 1-10 easy 20-30 gold only take around 8-15 mins per path if you do it as a fast run.

WvW node farming < small profit

salvaging dyes < small profit but can be worth in the long run

basically if you have had the game since the start of the year you get a free character spot in replacement for the core game

so i updated today no problems, enter WvW for reset all is fine for an hour now constant DC and error messages fix it please other guild members have same problems

the TIME tag you have is a server group its been added as you are in that guild if your not ask someone to remove it

it should say in the corner of the mail "this was not sent by ANET Staff " or something like it. so that you know for next time it is fake

well SFR shall catch up to deso in what 1-2 hours ? so no reset needed

fixed yes but its going to take SFR an hour now to get our gari back when deso has had 2 hours to add 40+ Acs grrr

yes we can enter but Sarah this is not fair …. deso is now 3k ahead and has 2 Wps up on our border probaly a 3rd soon please either reset the border or clear some points from deso to make it fair again

or please just remove 3k from deso points to make this fair
