Make one main, and four alts. Make the alts two charr and two Asura. Get them up to about level four. Take each one, ad run around looking for Herb Seedlings. Park each alt at an herb seedling node. Every couple of hours (however long it takes to respawn nodes) log in to each alt, harvest, and deposit collectibles. You will have so many Chili Peppers and Vanilla Beans, it’s not even funny. They sell for between 2 and 4 silver apiece. If you’re not playing, just log in to each for five seconds, then exit, just make sure to collect as often as possible.
Remember, when the server resets (game updates, etc) the nodes reset, and you will have to find new Herb Seedlings.
There’a a candy corn vendor in LA that has a Spider-themed short bow. Near the cooking station, but not the CC vendor closest to the cooking.
I was gone all weekend and only logged in for a few minutes last night, but I’m thinking they removed this.
Never played PvP before, but I just tried it. It works – I went through the portal at the north end of the training ground, and that took me to the Lions Arch gate, which took me to LA.
Mimosa, Gummo, and Snow Cherry saplings.
I’m only on my first character, a level 47 Human Ranger, and I am so indifferent about the story missions. I’ve been putting off the story since level 22 – that’s the level of the next quest in the line. Is there any penalty or drawback to waiting so long, or even not completing the story missions AT ALL?
Could you be more specific. What does “An item that you click in your inventory that gives you stuff” mean, exactly?
I just did a quest with this – I was serving bar patrons meat on a stick and ale, and breaking up fights. Maybe in one of the Snowy zones, level 25-40-ish…
OPI can put this game on the shelf, or play a little without, a subscription fee or worrying about my friends outgearing me a month from now. Gear treadmill is terrible and exhausting and feels like a second job.
This is what got me from The Secret World. Every time I had free time, but I didn’t feel like playing, I felt guilty, like I was wasting money.
No, they will not exchange it. Take it as a lesson learned, and be more careful moving forward.
The other day, after a short session killing centaurs and just gathering what I found, I almost passed out at the vendor when I saw that I had somewhere harvested FIVE COUNT ‘EM FIVE vanilla beans, and hadn’t even noticed!
Please be sure to tell your prof that you play under the name “buttjustice.”

I like the guys who turned me into a pig to hunt truffles – forget their name, though…
Ghoest; I have noticed the same thing just this past week. In fact, this morning, I thought I had locked up before I finally got in.
I had this on my first login this morning, but when I logged in again this afternoon, all was normal speed.
What level are you, and what level are you trying to kill?
Yeah, me too! 12345
When all’s said and done, it’s definitely going to be up there with Diablo 2 and Civ 3 for time spent per dollar invested.
I’ve only just got my first character to 20, never having played the Beta, nor the first GW. I’m enjoying it very much, and am having a lot of fun laughing at the nutters that are kittening about how the game stinks, after sinking hundreds of hours into it…
I like that I can sit down at my sleeping computer, and be fully playing the game within about 30 seconds. No long connection or load times when starting up the game. And when I log out, it just boom, logs right out, no drawn-out exit process. I was so used to long start-up times from WoW, DayZ, The Secret World, etc…
Anyone, anyone?
I’m trying to browse through cooking materials in the TP, but the most refined option in the search menu is “crafting supplies.” Can I not search through the different crafts’ mats separately? It’s annoying to try to find what I want amid a mess of non-cooking stuff.
Yeah, I just had to deal with a couple in my story quest, around level 11 in Divinity’s Reach. Very fricking annoying…
Noob question : How do I name my pet? I looked in the pet interface, but missed it…
