Well i don’t bother myself so much with constantly sitting on 60 fps, on cities and crowded places i definately don’t expect to go anywhere above 20 fps, but i mean overal gameplay, when i’m out exploring or leveling, i just want a chill gameplay without lagg or frame issues, (Which isn’t really what i got now, i play with almost no lagg at all and my setup before is much worse, or it is supposed to be) My main goal is to maintain just full ultra graphics settings with no lagg, or slight lagg during crowded events or cities.

I got myself an I5-6600k processor, with an MSI B150 gaming motherboard, 8GB Ram, now ordered myself an RX 480 graphics card, ofcourse got myself an SSD.

think that’d be sufficient?

Was wondering what your experiences were in GW2 as topic, logging on into the game.

So i am working on world exploration and i am currently exploring Wayfarer foothills, so i log out there, and i end up all the way back in Lion’s arch on logging in, it’s kind of annoying when you need to brb, but you don’t want your boosters to run along while you are AFK, so you log out to character screen, and where do you end up? in LA.

@OP good for you and congrats! I’m always surprised how far people will go to belittle someone else’s work doing something they enjoy for no apparent reason. When we go play Baseball, Basketball, Hockey we don’t get told they are "no-life efforts and the final score isn’t considered a “virtual” item just because it isn’t tangible.

While I don’t share your enthusiasm for the JP i can see your efforts have brought you happiness and even some coin to put towards other goals. Because that’s what a MMORPG is all about to me, setting goals and reaching them

Let’s make things clear: this is an online game (or product) with a specific target. This is not an official sport or e-sport. You can not earn money from doing jumping puzzles, but you can earn money from baseball. I think your goals should be changed (my opinion), otherwise you will reach nothing but making a product more profitable for someone else, on the expense of your personal life time.

Oh, but i am fully written in for work and for studies, ever since i lost my job a few weeks back since they had to loose people, i don’t have much to spend my time in, so right now, as i await an answer from school / work, i am free to do anything, so why not try get what i want now, so i don’t have to do such later when i am working daily again?

Succeeded once, didn’t go back. I’d rather jump out of a 20 story window whilst being poisoned and shooting myself in the head on the way down just to make sure.

I needed hours before i could finally finish the puzzle a few times, it goes better over time :P

So at your rate, how much would one have to run it to get, say, about 900 gold?

I have gotten 800 gold in 3-4 days. doing it, 9-10 hours a day, that is.

Jumping Puzzles have always been a thing i enjoy doing in GW2, now that this JP proved quite profitable in gold, i started gathering my ascended armor and worked on my Legendary, i indeed do it for the rewards, no life perhaps, but what do without friends nearby at the moment and recently fired from work because they had to loose people, can aswell invest my time trying to get an legendary by farming gold right now mm?

Sure there’s more to do then this but eh, whatever floats one’s boat?

Been trying to get into the Winter Wonderland jumping puzzle for half an hour now, it constantly kicks me out because it’s full?

It’s quite frustrating seeing you want to do these things for items, daily etc.

Make more instance servers for this?

An online friend of mine would really love to try out Guild wars 2, without buying the game itself to see how it really is and if he enjoys it in playing, is there any option or way for him to test the game on an own account without actually purchasing the game itself? while i fully understand why this game doesnt have anything of a trial like WoW does, i’m sure there must be some way to test the game without purchasing it?

Hey there people of GW2 and the GW2 team itself

I was logging in today on my ranger, with intention to delete it, (Checking for any important items) and i ran into the login reward!, which was going to be my bag with 3 tomes of knowledge, so, i decided to keep it for later, delete my character and login on my warrior, and the chest was gone : / I or my guildies have no clue if there is somewhere in the game where you can view your login rewards and or claim it afterall? or shall it simply pop-up again later on?
