Guild Wars 2

I had no trouble at all since the august 25th opening of the game, but since yesterday I can no longer open the game client without an error.
there have been no changes made to my computer, no new software added, this problem just started by itself. PLEASE help I really enjoy this game but if I can’t play it I will want a refund.

game client crashes every time I try to load. can anyone advise me on how to solve this issue?

JPa (jumping puzzle addicts) is a guild dedicated to completing the wvw puzzles daily, on all alts to maximize badge/siege collection and to ganking and harrassing the enemy as they try to get in to the puzzle. We are recruiting anyone on Tarnished Coast who wants to hit the puzzles in force, so that you can at least survive to fall down at the hard spots as much as you like without fear of being killed and even get rez’d if you go splat. We will also provide mesmer portals for those who just can’t get it right. Message me (Jagannath Vishnu) in game for an invite. This is a side project and very casual, so don’t think you have to leave your main guild or donate money or anything like that (we do ask that you rep us while we are in the puzzle) Thanks all!

bittersweet victory for SoR this week. Even outnumbered we are holding our own. guess numbers dont equate into skill.

We will always have the weak-minded band wagoners who will jump ship at the earliest signs of server dissent. They will be completely willing to pay whatever the fee is to move to a ‘green’ server so they can complete their mapping, do the jumping puzzles uninterupted, run with a huge unopposed zerg, and get rid of that general ‘loser’ feeling.

so is this content going to reopen or should I delete my commendations?

Thank you for your opinion. My opinion is that the jumping puzzles are just fine the way they are with no need for any changes.

such arrogance to say ‘we’ like you represent the entire gw2 gaming community. Every single complaint in every negative post has the same solution, learn to live with it or go play a different game. My only complaint in this game is all the whiners crying about the stuff they don’t like or can’t understand. Heres my advice: grow up and realize you can’t change everything to suit your own rediculous immature desires.

After a little critical thinking and going through everything whats going on lately here is an update. TC have another server wide meeting of guilds and commanders and decide to push to tier 2 at all cost because FA/CD are are just too weak for them.
They know same tactic dolyak walk and cruel FA ruining it wont work anymore because Purple Dragons have not been heard of again on FA (coincidence…maybe). So here is a new plan TC knows how to hack better than other server and they need numbers. So they get all purple dragons back to TC for reinforcements. Today is the day to push everyone hard. TC thinks that all FA are Pving and they will see no resistance at taking everything on all maps again. So here is the plan builds a lot and lot of golems in EB (40 to be specific) there is even a video proof of it. And than push FA really really hard and catch them off guard because TC already have a lot of land in CD. The time for war comes. The major invasion begins. TC hits FA hard and fast. They got for Dreaming Bay. TC have to get it at all cost while its being upgraded and out of supply for defenders to defend. They rush the South gate and start taking it down fast. Oh what is that defenders actually shows up to defend what sorcery is that. TC starts panicking but they have to keep pushing because they outnumber defenders 3 to 1 and defenders cant build any siege. The first gate is down and TC is in they rush second gate. But wait a second there is some siege on inner south gate. After hitting on a wall for a while and almost wiping they know they have to change tactic. So they hide in water and swim to other side north gate. They have to stop defenders from coming in. They make a supply run fully resupply and rush north inner gate. FA defenders are desperate because even more TC shows and and most FA defenders gave up or died. TC mercilessly takes down gate and rush to lord room. Wipe all 10 defenders inside with around 30+ people. Then they build 3 rams in lords room as a token of accomplishment (probably to show that they outnumbered FA 3 to 1) . How siege on Hills in FA failed I am not going to talk about(boring). During all this happening FA gets informed that they are about to loose Overlook in EB to Golems. A few defenders show up but they cant make it. It only takes about 30 seconds more or less for 40 Golems to take both gates. So as soon as FA shows up Keep is lost. But FA spirit is not broken yet and they keep fighting really hard. So TC decides to use their brains to come up with another master plan. This will work send a few of our hackers who usually flip SMC for us to FA Server and manipulate FA into hacking server to get more people from TC again to fight hackers this week and also turn CD against FA also. With big grins they already started flooding forums how hackers are horrible and how FA keeping flipping TC and CD towers and keeps. The try to make an alliance by organizing a double team on FA. So TC just asked CD commander to whisper them for swift action against FA need to remove hackers from all borderlands. If it takes a manipulated dolyak peace walk, manipulated hackers and 40+ Golems for TC to get to tier 2 so be it. Also how did it happen that when attacked both keeps had an upgrade going and were out of supply I am not sure. But i think a mass supply removal by a lot of people right before attack (maybe another coincidence). Oh I am surprised I have not seen a lot of comments lately how FA defense is terrible and and how awesome TC and everything about it is. Have not seen many screenshots lately either.

fun fun fun in wvw tonight, great job on locking down the jumping puzzle, you kittens cost me alot repairing armor.

I am sick and tired of people making it sound like thieves have an auto perma-stealth button. Its not that easy to maintain stealth AND you can’t attack and stay stealthed. This class is NOT BROKEN. Go get some better armor and learn to play the game.

What happened to the jumping puzzle at Morgan’s leap? It seems to be gone…

where can I view CURRENT server rankings? anyone know?

I am looking for a guild that’s large (lots of people), active on a daily basis, and does all aspects of the game. I am in PST time zone and play daily from about 8 PM til midnite or so. I enjoy WvW alot and would like to participate in some planned/structured WvW gaming (I’m not impressed with the zerg) . I also enjoy sPvP but do that somewhat less often. I also love to run around in the PVE areas and discover new things (jumping puzzles are awesome). I am willing to switch servers to join a good guild (don’t invite me if your server is full)

My main character is Jagannath Vishnu, a warrior, level 80. I am also leveling an elementalist and a thief. Contact me in game if you want to invite me.

This is the most annoying thing I’ve had happen to me in any game, ever. At the lower levels I am used to soloing everything in pve as most of the guild is off doing spvp or wvw. I am fine with this and have developed several tactics for dividing and dispatching pve enemies. There have been over a dozen instances where I am patiently pulling and killing enemies, when here comes mr. explorer, running with his speed buff, dragging 3 or 4 enemies behind him. He runs right by, leaving me to deal with his pursuers instead of the 1 I had so carefully pulled away from all the others. So I get killed and the kitten doesn’t even stop to rez me. This is not ‘players helping players’ and its the only thing that ever made me rage quit a game. I’m not sure what I expect from posting this. Maybe I am just ranting, but this has been the most vexing thing I’ve ever had to deal with in any game.
