We have fair-weathers to, and instead of blaming them when they abandon us, we welcome them when they join us. And a lot of them have joined us the later part of the week.

Also, I think Mag’s morale may be suffering just a lil bit, but shhh, don’t tell them I said so.

No weakening of morale here, well idk about the fairweathers (if we even have anymore after league). I just enjoyed the few fights I was able to receive and inviting yaks to party asking for 1v1’s winner gets keep. No one accepted :/ kitten you oceanic players.

I think we pretty much stopped playing for ppt after passing SBI. In my opinion I think most of us just really didn’t want SBI to win, yaks just put the nails on the coffin.

At least where I was running, we were stomping the majority of our kills. Most of the small Mag groups I ran into however, were not.

Apparently wiping us 3-4 times to them means stomping the guard twice and not killing anyone else. For some reason that necro decided not to include in the video the 1v1 he had with our thief where he got wrecked, or the time that all three of them got wiped.

Don’t take it too rough SBI; this is your “shakeout” period where you find out who’s the real deal and who are your fairweathers.

That’s when your achievement hunters went away. This is the start of the second cleansing; where you will find you lose a majority of your matches against servers with similar coverage.
For example, IoJ. IoJ was in decent position, it just wasn’t as good as SBI. They imploded because they weren’t slotted for extreme growth like they thought.

SBI will lose it’s enthusiasm and will have to go about the real business of building a successful WvW server. That takes time and effort. The other T2-T3 servers have spent months building their cores and integrating their casuals. Maguuma has great open field groups, YB has the best defense in the game. SoS has some of the deadliest guilds in NA plus massive numbers of ornery Aussies, and FA is a 24hr threat that will backstab and slit your throat if you blink (not my favorite people right now). TC built up from a T3 server slowly over a year. Their coverage rivals T1 servers at times.

Your transfers got you here, now they have to decide if they want to stay and keep you here.

We need to start a new poll on how what percentage of SBI is fair weather fighters. I would say 98.2% or so.

Considering we spent all week kicking in your teeth, I’m going to guess it wasn’t you wiping anything, and more likely it was the pve content patches as always (it happens every single patch)

Marathon runner here, apparently. RE asking for the bad-mouthing guilds to put their money where their mouth is. We are available for Official GvGs, 15v15. I mean everytime we face each other, I send out official challenges via gvg.com and no one accepts. I send PMs and in-game mails and either receive no reply or some reason that the guild cannot do an “official” gvg. Then when I see said guild on the forum trying to buff their lil ego’s, its sort of hilarious. We love to fight. Other night I was running a whopping 12 of us after our prime time into a zerg of 30ish [VR], who were so proud of their accomplishment of defeating us they spam laugh after they spent the entire night running from our primetime group that had equal #s. I guess they redeemed their hurt pride.

We don’t run from even fights. Vid or shen.

Seriously though, PYRO you guys are tough group to fight against. I’ve enjoyed fighting Maguuma out of all of the servers we’ve fought mainly because the individual skill your players have is impressive. Much respect goes out to you guys. I think the reason this thread is so long so early in the matchup is down to a difference in culture between servers.

Btw, Mag, I don’t know about the other guilds but when EMP has there daily push which varies from 15-25 players, whenever we see a massive zerg like PYRO, VR, kitten , etc, they have almost 30-50 players with em, outnumber us majority of the time 3/1 yet we still stay and fight. We haven’t won much but we have had a few times when you outnumbered us and many when it was equal so don’t be complaining about us anytime soon.

Lol at saying our guild or any other maguuman guild are zerg guilds and a guild from jq fields the numbers we actually do. Learn to count.

Hmmm, my wvw overveiw of this week. Mag has better overall playes than FA, or better gear although they lack numbers. the fights have been won and lost to both(as I am JQ). Win a few battles, but, the score shows JQ is far dominent due to numbers, gear, and coverage. I have supreme confidence in our commanders. A good group and I am proud. I will not post the sceenshots of a pure blue WvW(I can if wanted ). The Mag tebbing from Citedel is almost funny, why not just fly hack? This has been a very boring match-up, not once have I been frustrated at getting “owned”, as the score shows, thats far from a concern. I enjoy the trolling on the forums as much as the next guy, although, if the score was even close, it would be more than the joke of this match-up. Thank you for the good battles there has been occationaly.

Hey guys!, [BURN] here, we are new to the ways of magswag but I’m going to give it a shot anyway. We opened up on the Blue BL really excited to face some JQ T1.5 action! We started with with Bay, I think there was maybe 15-20 JQ in the Lord’s room?? Not sure as we mistook you for Guards and carried on. Went up the map to our suprise of nothing! very boring… So we went to go say hi to FA!!! Met with awsome success, as we ran into [RAM and [RET], really good fights with lots of loot bags won on both sides, wiped them, wiped us, good times. When we were hanging out in FA’s SW camp, I think I saw a JQ zerg try and get in on the action, but you guys wiped so fast I can’t really be sure. You guys will have to wait while the big boys are playing. The rest of the night met with dismay and we came across the same problem with JQ as [PYRO]…. (those guys are pretty scary, I would hide from them too) So we got bored (Rage quit you mad bro yolo) and switched maps. GG

the upleveled asuras never hide in a tower, never avoid a fight, what’s the problem?if you think you are being insulted by them using uplevel chars, fight them

30 level 2 asuras with a crap ton of cc that go down easily followed by level 80 characters and we barely had the numbers on mag bl to match your level 80 characters numbers now imagine what those 30 up levels do in that situation…. Spoken like a true zerg server, please keep telling me why jq is so superior.
