Well the games rated T so your son shouldn’t be playing anyway.
Seriously though. You’re actually using your 12 year old son to gain attention on Anet’s mistakes this patch? Pathetic.
And whats the problem with that? Its the parents discretion on whether or not to allow the kid to play it. And I remember seeing posts/stories/retweets of people letting even younger children play (iirc at least one was someones 4-6 year old daughter taking control while they were on the parents lap. Wish I could remember when/where I saw it.).
And maybe he/she doesn’t want their kid subjected to kitten like what you posted (or the post below it)
I actually let my 4 year old daughter sit on my lap. We make a new Asura and Char for her about every other week. I’ve run through the NP Tutorial well over 50 times at this point-
Though I too am moving along based on the recent changes. Things had been stagnating for me for quite a while since the Trait changes and I think I’ve just lost interest/not interested in the current environment.
All their testers were over the age 40
I’m 39 and I find these updated flat out kittened.
More like their testers were playing Clash of Clans and Candy Crush Saga.
Make a game based on the decisions of your corporate accountants, and the game will tank.
Every.
Kitten.
Time.
Two of my favorite games did a “New Player Experience”
SWG and MXO
Both are still going strong today!
Oh… wait.
Here’s an off the cuff take. I’m a filthy casual. That means: For the past year I’ll come back and play for about a month at a time, check out new stuff, then take a month off. Often when I do come back I’ll make gem store purchases of things that look cool or that I want to make the life of a new alt easier or more entertaining. So I spend maybe $100 or so a year. Not a lot, I know that.
That said, I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one. There are a lot of what I assume are called Vets who like to come back sporadically. I for one haven’t got the will to re-install this time. It just doesn’t sound like fun to me. So I’m making this post on the off chance someone will read it.
So, in terms of my revenue? Yes ANet has lost it.
Holy kitten… all this is about Wildstar?
Is that conspiracy or is there something to push it further?
I found a really interesting 0/0/30/25/15 build last night I am going to work from and build off of. He’s using GS/AX2 but I am going to give it a go with GS/SB
It’s kind of between that and a SB based Bunker Build that’s 0 / 0 / 30 / 10 / 30

I’ll stop back by this thread as I level and let you know my experiences. I really do appreciate all the good input.
For the record, if someone kicks me out of a group because I chose a class that isn’t ‘desired’ for whatever reason, it’s their loss, not mine, because I am extremely attentive and always ready to support a group. And hell if no one wants me, so be it. I’ll go drink bourbon and watch The Wire.
Thanks everyone, I do appreciate the input. I’m going to give it a go and see what I can accomplish. Who knows, right?
I suggest you refresh your comeback with your Guardian. The Ranger will make you quit for good.
I don’t mind a challenge. I’ve always enjoyed doing good things with what is considered to be an underpowered class— the Nerf/Balance wheel is always spinning.
That said, I’m really hoping for a push in the right direction.
Hi all,
My friend convinced me to come back to GW2 after some time away and rather than return to my Guardian who I haven’t played in months, thought I’d give ranger a go. I’m primarily interested in PvE with some light WvW thrown in. I was really interested in the concept of a Ranger Tank (not really GC building at all) and have a love of bows.
So that said, I had seen some older builds and was going to use them as a template, but would really be interested in hearing some thoughts or any suggestions as to how to proceed after the new patch.
Thanks in advance!
I have never seen an ability, skill, spell or attack in an MMO that couldn’t be overcome by playing smarter. Just food for thought.

That’s really encouraging Syimba- Could I ask what flavor of the Retina you’re running?
I haven’t installed yet but I have the 2.7 i7 with 16gb of ram.
Before I burn through another chunk of my allotted download bandwidth, I wanted to make sure I had all the facts.
