I got bronze lifetime when Sanctum Scramble wasn’t fixed and required a much lower time.
Now after the fix I can’t get the lifetime achievment even though I get gold everytime.

Probably the game thinks I already got it because of my previous lifetime leaderboard time-

Something is extremely wrong with Sanctum Scramble, I would guess that the times needed are bugged.

Even getting bronze is a lot harder than most gold medals in other adventures.

Best time I got after about 2 hours of tries and research was 2:04 … 4 seconds of bronze …

These are three core specs that exist, and to the thief said he went melee and did fine. I bet you did spamming your smoke screen skill that blinds the target and keeping it up constantly. Sounds like a controller to me…

My utilities are caltrops, Shadow Signet and Scorpion Wire (That pulling magic)
Scorpion Wire is the one I switch on demand for the group, sometimes I use Devourer Venom for the Imob, sometimes the normal poison Venom for better poison uptime whatever is needed.

D/D has no mass blind, so to answer your question, NO I’m not a controller I’m borderline glass cannon with a BIT of Vitality on my jewels.

Our Engineer is using Granate kit most of the time for good AoE and stacking up Vulnerabilty almost the whole time.

Our Warrior is a pure Glass Cannon with 2hand greatsword, sometimes full signet stack build for the serious burst, sometimes shout build for good support while damaging.

Our Ranger is longbow user with high burst and good sustained damage.

As I said our guardian is the only one with a defensive build, maybe you would call him a controller or something, his weapons are Greatsword and Staff

You can all believe whatever you want about melee being unviable but our team is going strong with 3 melees since the release without using permablind etc.

Oh to your Trinity:

Debuffs:
Me (Thief) is doing weakness/poison/bleed as debuffs.
Engineer is doing vulnerabilty.
Guardian is applying Burning.

Boons:
Thief/Warrior/Ranger for infinite Fury stack
Guardian/Warrior for Protection uptime
Guardian+Thief with Shortbow for Retaliation stack
Guardian/Warrior for might stack

Can’t really tell who is the Debuffer and Buffer in our team because we all buff and debuff =/

well ofc you can’t go full dps on the golems all the time but tanking both golems close to each other and your team running from one golem to the other isn’t helpful either.

ranged classes can easily switch between both golem if they position themselves good but melee should stick to one and just dps the whole damage phase instead of wasting time walking from one golem to the next

Get some distance between the golems and it gets easier.

Funny thing is we focused down mkII first to get rid of the lightning but you need to kill both golems at the same time otherwise the other golem just regenerates to full Health

But it wasn’t that hard put 2 players on mkI and 3 on mkII and keep them seperated from each other.

Having done all pathes in TA I might be able to help you out a bit.

You don’t need to skip Trash but it might be helpful in a pug because the communication often is really lackluster.
One ranged person can easily keep the flowers destroyed while still dpsing.

The Wurm Boss:
Pretty easy with coordination … hard as nails without.
You can do this boss without anyone being downed.
Our strategy is to keep one ranged for flowers, we focus the first vine down in like 10-20 seconds hop to the next and repeat that until the boss Wurm spawns.
At 75% the Boss spawns an additonal Vine, focus fire it down NOBODY stays on the boss.
The same at 50%.
At 25% just burn the boss down if you have the necessary dmg otherwise focus fire one of the two spawned Vines first then the second one after that the boss.

The Up-path:

Malorna is pretty easy just stay clear of the one-shot AoE.
It’s hard for melee to get the hang of it but it’s pretty doable.
Nothing special about the boss.

Fyonna (?):

Clear a few eggsacs around the boss before pulling here to get a good fighting area.
Nothing special mechanic wise.

Nightmare Tree(UP):

Get a few players to destroy the plant turrets and healing pods!
All others focus fire the boss.
Avoid the spikes from the tree they WILL kill you!

The Forward-Down path:

Husk Boss:
Dodge to shake off the bee’s!
Try to dodge the long windup attacks as they hurt quite a bit.
Nothing special here as far as I remember.

Mesmer Sylvari Boss:
This one is HARD!
Try to stop damage while Chaos Armor is up.
Don’t attack while retaliation is up it hurts a LOT with high attack speed!
Avoid the chaos storm.
You prolly need some Condi Removal… Boon Removal would be awesome.

Nightmare Tree(Forward-Down):
Another tough one.
TWO options, easy cheese tactic or chaos tactic:

Cheese:
Clear a few spiders in the room and range the Tree till he dies. EASY and BORING!

Chaos tactic:
get people to focus spiders, kill the hatchlings FAST and effective.
Don’t pull an unnecessary amout of spiders they will demolish your team, kill those that need to be killed.
Other than that it’s chaos everyone needs to be on their toes for this one.

The Forward-Forward Path:

Teleport Room Boss:
Easy and funny, no real threat there.
Just use the portals and be surprise where you are

Laurent:
A hard one!
You CAN pull the adds from him without getting Laurent itself but that requires some training or easy pulling magic “Scorpion Wire”.
On to Laurent itself … if you thought the Nightmare Warders on the way to Laurent hit hard beware of him.
He is a damage machine, it’s a rough one for melees but doable just be extremely wary of his attacks and dodge as many as possible, there is no shame in retreating to range for a bit to regain some health.
If you have a ranged only team, just kite him and he becomes easy as pie.

Nightmare Tree(Forward-Forward):
Quite easy possibly the easiest Nightmare Tree.
He spawns !!3!! Veteran Ancient Oakhearts, you can kill them but they will respawn almost instantly!
Get one/two person/s to kite them as best as possible, everyone else focus fire the boss , as all Nightmare Trees he has quite a low healthpool.
Destroy the roots fast to get rid of the immobalize.

Trashsection:

-Try to fight in places without flowers when possible, if it’s not possible get one person to destroy the flower fulltime
-Be careful around the Stonetouch spiders the Paralysis is lethal.
-Warders can easily be kited if your melees can’t handle them good enough.
-Nightmare Vines are REALLY easy in melee range, they don’t “spit” in melee range.
-Big Nightmare Court groups can be tricky, try to focus the high damage mobs, as always Focus Fire is the key here!!!
-Some Husks have an attack that gives a bee debuff, you can get rid of them by dodging once.
-Be careful about the Nightmare Hounds, the leap can pin you down for a LONG time!

I guess that’s all, hope I could help a bit!
If there are any questions I’ll try to answer them as best as possible

Okay those birds are really stupid they would be a good mechanic if you could shake them off with a dodge like those bees in TA explorable.

What’s wrong with HoW except the last boss?
The last boss I can understand your rage, those birds are kinda bad =/

All other things aren’t particularly hard.

Okay you don’t like Dungeons in GW2, I really don’t mind that, but don’t tell me they are hard or full of one-shot mechanics … this is NOT true.

I’m currently done with 5 dungeons (Ascalon, Caudecus, Twilight, Flamecitadel, Sorrows)
meaning all explorable ways.
I have all storymodes done and currently on Arah explo.

And NO I’m not playing a ranged class, I play D/D Thief and I’m in melee 85% of all fights.
Our team consists of !!!3!!! melee’s.
All my armor is on Power/preci/condi, weapons power/preci/crit and jewels power/vit/condi.
I’m not full def like some guys here think is necessary.

Our Warrior is even full glass canon all Power/Preci/crit with 2h sword.
The ONLY one of our team that is defense is our guardian with a good vit/tough balance.

We avoid waypoint zerging because it’s stupid and I really don’t know why A-net even allows it (they wouldn’t even need to tune most stuff down IMO).

Currently we have maybe 1-2 full deaths during an explorable dungeon we know already and on Arah today we had 2 group wipes (that was the first time we did Arah explo … Giganticus Lupicus is a pain).

Please tell me where all those one-shot mechanics are hidden .. oh i know a few: Crucible story mode Kudu’s killshot, Tazza in Sorrow’s Embrace and her spectral blade attack, Giganticus Lupicus, maybe kudu’s golems in SE story, Nightmare Tree spike on the spider way.
All of these can be avoided with a bit of thinking.

I only know TWO examples of bad ones: last boss in HoW and his stupid birds and one boss in Caudecus Manor that can chain knockdowns till you are dead (can be countered by Stability).

Trashmobs are for the most parts challenging but not unfair in ANY way, focus fire, awareness etc. counter almost all of them.
