Current BLs have tons of space so no need to bring back smaller maps, just remove pve events and allow more people on them. People should stop being afraid to play on them
EB has lagged since day 1 when map is capped and all three servers engaged. What’s you’re logic behind desert magically being able to bypass the limitations of the GW2 engine and allow more players?

Well AC have always been able to shoot through walls due to their magic trajectory so all the need to do is force the wall to block it and let them shoot anyway so they waste time thinking they are hitting you.
It is what is going on at the moment yes but its far from normal. It is a form of pay to win since servers are purchasing something in game to give them an advantage over other servers. It is the definition of P2W regardless of what people will say to justify it.
Personally I think servers should be locked in their respective tiers. The one at the bottom should need to lose X amount of times before dropping a tier and same with the one at the top they should win X amount of times before moving up. Alternatively merge low population servers together for WvW. Fleshout the numbers and fill up all the maps then servers will see no point in buying guilds to win at wvw, yes i feel like wvw is buy to win due to this.
Nice. I love the necro but its a lot of work to get good with. I played mesmer most but necro is my favorite. I tried your build and its easy to pick up the basics but like Odesseus said I will be watching your vid a lot to help get more skillful at it. I had a lot of fun with it today.

just be happy that the people that would really benefit from stacking stealth inside keeps, mesmers, can’t really do this trick. portal bombing is a team effort!
Portal bombing is absolutely fine and fun as hell from either side but using an exploit to stay invis indefinitely inside a tower is not and it is really bad that so many think this is ok.
And why the hell not necro a thread that is only 27 days since last post since this obvious bug was not fixed and is probably exploited by half the thief community.
Wow this was pointed out that long ago and still not fixed. It is rediculous. BP are absolutely horrible for the number of thieves they have that do this and since they invis so often it is horrible trying to report them.
We are against DR at the moment and seriously dont go there or you will quit the game. They have enough numbers to be top tier if they were any good. So many of them die trying to do anything it is ridiculous but their zombie horde overwhelms in the end.
This will probably end when school starts up again lol :P
We need this fixed fast as large zergs on SF are using it when their rams are taking it out. I missed the opportunity for a screenshot of it today but they do take stuff very very fast and always DPS the gates too.
Lol we can see what you mean when you wont touch FC I can only assume because they match you in numbers and you cant win with what you plan tonight which is why both FC and NSP will zerg us again.
NSPs prime time is our off time every server knows our off time and the big ones seem to only take stuff then. Good luck with your new finisher just be sure that you outnumber us at least 3 to 1 so you have a chance to use it.
Lol so NSP needed 100 ppl and golems to take our garrison. Hope you guys are proud that you need so many people and golems. Why don’t you try this in the evenings when we at least have half your numbers? Why dont you do this to FC who has your numbers?

Gate was taken down ( not that hard really ) mesmer stayed inside some blind person repaired gate and left then we came back in.
Unless you have video proof of anyone from any server exploiting then I suggest you keep it to yourself as one of the most common ways to divert attention from yourself doing it is to point fingers elsewhere.
Ash in my experience is focused on team play and larger fights and most are traited for that as well. Not a requirement just general playstyle. I run with them a lot and have found myself switching in wells for Blood is Power as a for instance.
Not many classes can trait to use 10-20 guys to beat 30-50 and also 1v1. Your probably hitting up against guys who see you as a nuisance while they do x task.
If you run up on an RH or EC solo your probably going to have a more fun fight. If your zerg runs into ASH it should be a fun fight for all. RH 5 mans are pretty beastly too.

I would also wager that most if not all those ppl killed by someone camping a road are trying to get somewhere else and not hunting solo players so it will be a one sided fight 99% of the time and nothing to boast about unless you actually got killed more than you say and that is why u so angry.

For sure. We cant always take on the DR zombie horde so when we are less then 20 we tend to go for easier targets. Both servers have seen how devastating GoM can be even when we have outnumbered buff and to deny it or not would say a lot about the type of people you are.
In the last two weeks I have spent probably 40 hours roaming in GoM BL. I this time I have i have probably went about 100 wins 1 loss in 1v1’s. It’s hard to keep track of the wins because each one is so insignificant. The one loss was to a ranger in GLNT but can be asterisked because he was by a tower and was able to run back in and out of it.
Today I was facing a Mesmer from GoM with a legitimate shot at beating me but some ASH guys had to come and ruin it. Is ASH one of the largest guilds on GoM? I have found consistency that they are some of the least skilled players I have run into.

Sigh, this week just started and I already want it to end.
Same here and I think Kain are lower wvw pop then us now so with this time of year n all DR will still have high numbers 24/7 while Kain and us lose a few and maps will be red at off hours. We get some nice battles off DR when you don’t call the other maps though.
It is possible to target someone here. Reason I ask is in all my time playing I have never been hit there. I was targeted by both a necro and an engineer while operating the arrow cart.
Heya, I was that engi that was nade spamming your AC on that screenshot! But yes, from where I was standing I can arc my grenades just over the door and just under the archway over it at max distance with my grenadier trait to hit that AC there. It’s quite a handy trick sometimes Idn if the necro can manage to target that without a LoS tho, as I was sure I was the only one hitting it at the time. I’ll provide a screenie to this tomorrow when I wake up.
As a necro I always use DS #4 to hit ppl through walls.
Ash needs a fully fortified keep or tower and 500 plus supply worth of siege to even take a fight with ET. Stop hiding kittens
Well taking a tower in an other BL, fortifying and placing siege in there..If you didn’t want to have to deal with that, you had more than enough time to kick them out of there before things got annoying.
Taking Stonemist and having a 145 PPT was more important than kicking GoM out of their BL we held a 350 PPT.
It’s cool, we know that Di is merely super tanks that pride themselves on being able to survive a prolonged fight.
Well here’s the deal, as i see it, ASH hasnt been very successful at wiping DI. This “super tank” you speak of, is called strategy and decent builds. We’re not you and and LIKE fair fights (look at attachment as thats your guild leader). Kind of sad you have to outnumber us and STILL use siege and then loss constantly. Must get boring for you guys being wiped everytime.
Now that is true we are not successful at wiping DI since ye always run when ye cant wipe our pugs.
ASH you talked a lot of kitten when we were IoM. We been challenging you since day one only because of your past remarks you made to all of us,your to scared that you gunna get owned to fight us straight up. Its all good I completely understand ASH must just have numbers no skill..
I have absolutely no interest in a chest thumping competition, this is only a game.
I’ll happily go on record and say that IoM/Di is significantly more hardcore than ASH, and would have no trouble beating ASH in a GvG.
can’t speak for my leader, but i can speak for myself when i say we get a little rustled when we get asked where the fights are and when we offer up a lil’ ol’ gvg against ASH just to have fun, we get turned down but still get asked where the fights with us are
like we’re not gonna duke it out with you over a tower that gets taken every two minutes. keeps maybe, but not that dumb redlake/bluebriar/whatever.
as for costume brawls, i will take you on with my plush griffin tonic any day, my good man

i don’t hate any server. that would be grouping you as a whole and that’s terrible and waste of my time and an insult to you as an individual.
what i hate is when i see all these attitudes on forums over WvW. i haven’t attacked GoM as a server or even DR as a server. to be honest, DR has one of my fave guild names. so far in the past two days the only thing i’ve said to GoM at all was responding to ASH asking for fights but not wanting to do GvG which has just turned into teasing now and nothing more.
at the end of the day, i’m playing a game with some of my very good friends on here and we’re just trying to kick some kitten . but then i come on here and it stops being fun and it starts being hostile for no real reason.
that’s what i hate.

You are still talking about sieging up a tower? How do you find that fun? We had to attempt to take hills to get fights tonight and then it turned boring as heck.

This must be you’re first time going against GoM/ASH. We are all about having fun and “madness”.
If you can’t find the humor in that, well that’s fine. What matters to us is that we have fun doing what we do.
We had a lot of fun during reset night. I give my respect to AKD for wiping DR from taking Bay and then quickly chasing us out of your Garrison, which we honestly thought we had. Then when we pulled back to Hills, you never showed up to take it back right away. It’s understandable because DR pushed back to Bay and we pushed back to Garrison, only to run into not only AKD again, but DI as well. Trying to take a heavily sieged up Garrison with your best two WvW guilds. That’s not an equation for success.
We did pretty well holding your Hills throughout the evening and night. We had fun taking Bay and holding Bay from a 50 – 70 man ET zerg with golems. You guys clearly tried getting us to abandon Hills in order to protect our BL. But we had a goal that night and we successfully accomplished that goal.
Even though it sucks that we have the same matchup as last week again. And even more that we have to face DR the 3rd time in a row. But we are glad to be green again after a 2 month dry spell. Looking forward to the rest of the week and seeing how this turns out.
Hell yeah this is what fun in WvW is all about and not no gvg crap which can stay in spvp for all I care.

Yeah hmm Tuesday afternoon right? New PvE content and GoM WvW pop drops to nothing. So do it another day and at a time when we have close to even numbers.
We always lose too many people to living story and other servers know that which is why they always focus us instead of the 3rd server. Plus we are usually more of a challenge. HoD usually waited for us to be online before hitting us not like some of the more recent matchups, but HoD always liked the fights we gave them even when they lost a lot against lesser numbers.
GoM is the best community and for our numbers, win or lose the fights are always awesome.
GoM and SoR have had several transfers to AR, so please don’t be so naive to think that you’ve magically upped your game because of recruitment from one guild. That’s not how this game works.
This is exactly why anvil rock is the server to join at this moment. People cant accept that we improved so much mainly due to our pve players jumping back into wvw. As to the several gom players. I was the only one that I know of that left gom. And as for that 1 guild recruiting. We have gained 150-160 new members in the last month with most doing wvw a few times a week. If you are a good commander looking to make a big difference in a servers outcome then you too could probably get a lot of recruits if you came to anvil rock. Just something commanders should consider if looking for a new server to join.
On a side note guild asap here in anvil rock is looking for 2 commanders to join the guild. I am trying to get more in the zerg busting/ gvg mentality, but have been to busy leading the zerg. A lot of good guild potential for a competent commander. Pm or mail allergic to grapes, allergic to oranges, or allergic to bananas if interested. You would most likely have 20 players a night to work with.
Oh we have no problem accepting AR has improved, I hear it in teamspeak quite a bit and chat too.

We have had no large guild transfers. [Zero] is slowly returning, but not too many of made the swap yet.
Yeah I find it hard to believe there was not a huge amount of transfers since the last time AR were up against GoM. One week you are always with the outmanned buff and 2-3 weeks later you are the ones creating the outmanned buff on GoM players.
It is also rumored you guys have spies in teamspeak which is how you “magically” have your zerg inside the gates on every attempt DR or GoM make on your keeps and garrison but hey we always enjoy it when AR out number us 2 to 1 and we kick your kitten just like the old AR players would do to some of us.
I leveled an engi in wvw from level 7 to about 45 – not easy but fun and makes things easy for you in pve. Yes zergs are rough but keep your gear green/yellow and you’ll be fine. Flame thrower for gate defense/assault is awesome.
Turrets are what drew me to the engineer in the first beta but now its only the heal turret I use. I agree they need to be more like pets with toughness due to being made of metal. The elite is fun but can be taken out in no time.
Come to GoM we are always outmanned but dont cry about it and always make our enemies pay highly for what ever they take from us (when they are able take it). Our current opponents can literally take what they want when they focus on it since they are so high population compared to us. If we get a boost of people for WvW we would be better able to defend what we take.
Would it also be possible to change it so that when we change the email address associated with the account that the confirmation is sent to the original email and not the new one? This will help in the prevention of stolen accounts. It makes no sense to have the confirmation email go to the new email.
Idn if the necro can manage to target that without a LoS tho, as I was sure I was the only one hitting it at the time. I’ll provide a screenie to this tomorrow when I wake up.
