Telia is bad.
Alter.net is good.

Notice you lose the count of items if you are in gnashblade mode. Already upset at least one person who didn’t know where the count went.

That’s a very fair observation and I do agree that the item count has no place on the icon of the item in question.

Seconded. Playing from Asia and my ping is good, yet it feels like 300-500ms ingame.

The new TP is pretty decent, better than the old one. However, I feel that it’s got a couple of flaws that need to be mentioned.

First of all, I list buy orders slower than I used to. Possibly because I’m not used to the UI yet, but hey. That can be attributed to the growing pains.

Make an option to make the “I am Evon Gnashblade” option permanent.

http://i.imgur.com/TQYzShH.png

I have my UI set to “Smallest”. Making the TP window itself smaller, the I am Evon Gnashblade option is very much welcome, and is an improvement over the previous TP and current TP norm.

http://i.imgur.com/TmrBCMD.png

I say it again. This should be a permanent option that can be toggled in the menu itself.

http://i.imgur.com/jnwEti0.png

Secondly, I feel that the fields you input how much you’re buying/selling for and the quantity are too small.

http://i.imgur.com/JXve7wu.png

Pardon the poor photoshop, but that’s what I feel it should appear as.

Hope Anet responds to this, I’m pretty sure that I’m not alone in wanting these changes to happen and I do feel that this will be for the better.

It’s NEITHER level3 or ALter.net. It hasn’t given me problems until recently. Everyone stops attacking, I can’t use skills, Dcing me during engagements.

I play from Asia, yes, I know. I’ve already got a constant lag issue but Guild Wars 2 is perfectly playable and I can be competitive despite a 250ms ping difference to NA players.

I’ve noticed this problem since Anet’s servers got hit by DDOS attacks. I’m currently experiencing latency problems, rubberbanding and overall skill lag in the open field. This issue is exacerbated on Zerg v Zerg engagements. 80man server blobs.

Here’s what I normally work with, this tracert was taken during OCX and SEA prime. The game is butter smooth despite the 250ms.

Hello Forum-goers! We of the Pain Train would like to present you with our congratulations and celebration video to Blackgate for winning Season One NA Gold!
But instead of showing all the great fights we had over the season, we took a different route. Hopefully you like it!

All i see is you chasing zergs tail or small grps. Ah well it’s one up from camping tower/keeps during karma trains with ac’s etc i guess, some of those players dont look like uplevels bravo.

All clips in that video were taken throughout the League during NA prime. There’s more where that came from.

lots of effort took all evening

Don’t get me wrong, its great to see guilds like Ark, Cern and Pyro come out to fight, its a breath of fresh air after fighting the turtle zergs on BG. But don’t don’t wipe then qq on the forums and post BS SS’s that of us 30-60 minutes after the fact.

no

Yeah….

We wiped you at south bay, not north east..with a lot less than that, along with a TC zerg. This is the zerg we pulled together after the pug commander DC’d, probably 30 minutes later.

You seemed to put in a lot of effort to make this though, so I’ll just give you gold star and a smile and hope you forget about it by morning.

A lot less than that is definitely 25 + 15 or more pugs. We peaked at like 16 all night, iirc.

It was 25 total about 19 Choo..if you had 16 people would would you push into us and then proceed to QQ about wiping via whispers and forums? Confused.

Either way, see you on the battlefield. GL and have fun!

there is a difference between qqing about wiping and laughing about you claiming to only have 25 people

Your screenshot was taken 2 hours after Legendary Gunnar sent you that message.

So timestamp.

I said it once and I’ll say it again.

Everyone saying “SoR has morale issues, is about to crumble, had internal drama” or in general is putting the server down are either seated comfortably, In the sidelines or not members of the said server.

We are out to have fun, enjoy the game with our guilds. Working our butts off running yaks, sitting in towers for hours is not fun.

What is fun is getting into fights, taking stonemist, surviving with 30 people against an 80 man blob for 2 hours in stonemist or papering t3 keeps while contested. None of that PvD karmatraining.

You know what else isn’t fun? Running into towers or keeps, avoiding fights unless you have a blob or are under ac
cover.

If this is what it takes to be considered a champion by Anet, I’d rather be in the losing server.

Mag does care about PPT – until it’s time for gold league qualifiers

we’ll be here with yall ~every season~

Maybe u should move to SoR. They claim they dont play for PPT neither but they at least can put numbers in open field fight.

Because “putting numbers” is fun. If Mag wanted, we could assemble quite possibly the scariest megablob of guild groups you’ve ever seen… it’s just boring.

Excuses….
Megablob vs Megablob (or zerg vs zerg) are usually the most epic fights.

A meta decided by the profession with the best 1 spam and dodgerolling aka guardians with staff.

Sizes where you can use utilities are my pref.

Spam 1? I have all my 10 skills used depends on the situation, commander’s position, even dodge have to dodge wisely. You don’t understand why are we doing this. It’s okay, You train yourself to be a hero-like player but some of us love to play as a team and community and that’s why we’re in T1 again. This game is not about you or the solo player. We paid for the game, we have the right to choose what mode to play and it is not in your concern that whether we spam 1 or not.

You’re lying to yourself if you think there isn’t debilitating skill lag in megazorg vs megazorg. We did SoR vs BG vs Mag in SoR’s garrison this weekend, and we had to sit tight until one of you wiped before we could move just so we could use buttons again. That’s not fun. Generally once BG was dead the game could resume.

The teamplay curve levels off at some point when you have 40+ people with a mark over one guy’s head and you’re effectively just playing simon says with empowers, blasts, and stab.

The teamplay exists just as much or moreso all the way down to 2v2. The only reason someone would prefer huge blobs is the safety of group blame sharing. I encourage you to try lower numbers, where when you lose, your list of reasons has your own name at the top.

Nothing much I can say except get a better rig. I had 0 skill lag for the past two weeks in the matchup with SOR.

It takes 220 people to generate skill lag.

80 people per server in one BL.

Do the math.

Now a screenshot of the reality behind it: http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/3105/m4kb.jpg

PS u are loosing your gari soon…queue fast.

Also this thread is like making self-mockery of your own situation. Every time i try to read the first post…the image that pops in my mind is this:

I don’t mind that we’re not able to field numbers on 2 maps at this timezone. We never were that populated a server.

Where’d our garry go?

KISS = gone
DIE = gone
RISE = gone
IRON = wrex out sick
FEAR = ace college, dgins got banned
TW = old and faded, everyone hates his majesty

Hire, GC and Hel have to be getting tired of carrying the server.

Dgin got off the ban and no one hates his majesty. Please do not discredit the many other guilds that contribute to SoR. They are all also very important. It’s not only GC, HIRE and Hel.

What is Choo?

Here’s a summary of the last 34ish pages for all you TL;DR people (randomized)…

1. SoR lost its “fighting spirit”.
2. BG is only winning because of ZD’s.
3. BG will surely lose Week 7 because SoR said so.
4. BG has a lot of money apparently.
5. BG is winning because Battle Field 4 came out.
6. Something about DIE making a post about how BG sucks & then gets wrecked in EB.
7. IRON can’t post on the forums anymore and some members were kicked.

Yeah, that just about sums it up…

You missed the part where SoR lost a few commanders in crucial timezones (ocx, SEA) to IRL reasons.

You don’t know how “handsy” Tarkus can get, you may need more dolls :P

I don’t even know what thats supposed to mean…. x.x

What’s your thoughts on Week 7 Tark? Everyone in SoR is saying something about BG getting double teamed.

We’ll see how it’ll turns out when we get around to the matchup

SoR is a shadow of its former self. Not in numbers/guilds, but in tenacity and leadership. The sooner some of its better known commanders/egomaniacs transfer off or simply quit, the better it will be for SoR.

You shouldn’t comment on something you know nothing about.

^

As I have played hundreds of hours of WvW on SoR since week #1 and have seen it progress from the basement tiers and then into T1, my opinion about the current state of leadership on SoR is quite informed.

It’s so easy for someone to sit back and Monday Morning Quarterback. All your recent post history tells me is that someone stepped on your toes and it upset you.

My comment still stands. You shouldn’t comment on something you know nothing about or are far to emotionally invested in to think rationally.

If you really did explore my post history, then you know this is not a reaction to “someone stepping on anyone’s toes”. I’ve seen enough different people (not just myself) speak up in chat over the last 12 months, only to have a commander instantly tell everyone “Put them on ignore. Trolls.”

Don’t make waves, don’t disagree, don’t speak up. Fall in line. RALLY!

That’s what SoR’s glorious leadership practices are; every single commander gets on a map, tells E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E to rally on the icon (thereby creating a single zerg), then pushes out.

Attack what? That.
Why? Because it’s there.
Defend it? Maybe…or just flip it back later.

Am I missing anything? Other than all the background hush-hush negotiations to get even more guilds to transfer to SoR?

I cant speak for the rest of the server but we do assign scouts and groups to handle certain tasks. Most of the time we really don’t have he manpower to allot unlike BG and its endless supply of pvxers.

I really shouldn’t have to say more. I respect your views because that’s what you see from the sidelines.

Now validate them by participating in he war.

snipsnipsnip

talking from a 3rd party observers perspective

You’re not on the server and actually in the loop of what’s going on.

I know that I may sound like I’m making excuses, but it’s been mentioned countless times in this thread that the main commanders who pull the PPT for that timezone are currently unable to play at the moment.

We can still triple keep BLs. There just aren’t enough people to prevent the PVD that happens after we log out.

Alright so looks like Fann is the PR rep for SoR. Can you give us your excuse as to why SoR is losing by just under 111k this week compared to the 10k loss you suffered the first week? Not intending to be trolly but really confused as to why the gap is so much. Thanks!

Three letters can explain that.

PVD.

Well that would be true but according to this chart…
Third Week
… Blackgate apparently PVDoors 95% of the match with random spikes of activity from SoR.

Now lets compare that to the first and second week…
First Week
Second Week
Anyone else sensing a trend here? I’ve never seen SoR this low before and it’s only getting worse… I’m not trying to be mean or anything so please don’t take it that way.

You can speculate all you want but I’m going to explain it in as little amount of words as I can.

First week. We were really pushing, all of our commanders were pulling mad overtime for that week playing for PPT, upgrading structures and sieging things.

Second week. We lost that 20k lead due to overall server attrition. We suddenly had a very vulnerable timezone, possibly due to the release of Battlefield 4. The addition of ZDs on that weakened timezone just aggravated the already dire PVD situation.

Third week, current. We just aren’t defending. We’re flipping things but not committing to defense. Turning T3 structures to paper = no PPT. Time held = PPT.

You really can’t defend things after logging out and a guild’s event time usually lasts 6 hours. Let’s say one guild spends 4 of that 6 hours building up a keep to T3, sieging it to full spec and losing it in less than 15 minutes after calling it due to PVD.

So basically it’s just us saying “We can take your towers, even if you have a zone blockading, we just don’t have the manpower to keep them after we log out.”

After ONE, TW and FEAR triple guild blob our 25 man guild group.

Lord Leader Fearless Pryan from TW: “Quit your kittening” and “why dont you call Agg in?”

1 hour later, Lowlands keep belongs to “T5 SoS”. NICE, looks like there is no where but the spawn to hide. Don’t camp your blob in the keep or we’ll just take it

An hour before that event, I had a friend check the queues and there was none for EB.

At of time of the EB Keep take, it looks like TW and FEAR had 10 people each logged in to WVW. ONE had ported to SOS BL. Nobody asked the other BLs for help.

Regardless, we totally had a blast at SOS BL and apologize for all the wooden structures!

As of now all Iron members have been told not to post on these forums anymore .
People have been kicked from the guild and anyone found posting will be warned and told to delete their posts if they ignore this they will be kicked .
you may smack talk Iron but we are one of the most dedicated guilds in gw2 . we turn up every night trying to fight the blobgantuan, running as just iron something posters from some of the guilds here should try .

Good for you guys. We can see the difference in-game too.

In fact SoR is doing the whole Phoenix thing right now, and is finally leading in ppt for the first time this week.

Not bad guys.

I believe that blackgate isn’t doing as much overtime as they did last week.

I know that lately, forums have been all about Blackgate accusing Iron running away from fights but what about…

Blackgate groups (40+) running away or porting out during NA prime.

Whenever we’d encounter a BG group between objectives, they’d either rush back into their tower or port out. Even when we didn’t have a fatty zerg.

The only times they’d engage us is whenever we’re making a push for an objective or when their entire map zone is present.

I understand that it’s a “tactical retreat” and that we may have a fatty zerg at times(usually 35 people), but why keep the pressure on one guild?

What I’m trying to say is, everyone’s guilty of running away or avoiding fights at some point in time. Don’t grind on one guild.

(Notice how I haven’t mentioned a BG guild? Blackgate Borderlands. NA prime. You know who you are.)

When you run two groups, there are two objectives on the map we have to respond to, sometimes you’re not the most important one. Shocker.

I’m pretty sure we were the only active threat on the map at the time. If you mean. There were imaginary SOS friends hitting your bay, I guess you’d be justified.
