According to the wiki you can use any Orichalcum Imbued Inscription to craft auric weapons. So far i tried Celestial and Viper and none fo them work. Wiki says any work. Game says only 10 possible combinations exist out of 21. If this is a bug fix it please. I wasted mats on both Celestial and Viper. Charged Quartz and Black Diamond are not easy to get… Viper was released with HOT no reason why not able to craft Auric weapons with that.

On the wiki page of Piece of Candy Corn the wiki states “In addition to exchanging Candy Corn at vendors or using it in recipes, it can be traded to the children of Lion’s Arch in exchange for Child’s Trick-or-Treat Bags” I see kids with the title “wants candy” or something. However interacting with them states nothing. Is this outdated info or its bugged and you cant trade? I have like 2k Corns and i have no use for them

Why was the chance of ascended crafting change made? For example now i have to use leather to craft the cloth insignias. I was soo cloose to crafting them all and then this change hit without any “warning”. It wouldnt be bad if the leather prices did not skyrocket to near the same amount as the cloth. The reason the leather was soo cheap is because it was easy to accquire. Now i have to spend twice the amount of gold to buy the materials because i do not have the amount of time to farm the cloth/leather myself. This seriosly put me off crafting the armor. I do not think ill even bother anymore. Unless i get a precursor and sell it for 1000+g and buy the materials myself i am not touching the ascended armor anymore.

Is it possible to purchase a physical edition of the expansion? Or is it digital only?

Where do i find the Royal Guard outfit. I havent played for quite a while.

So i havent been playing for a while and i heard that the basic part of the game is now free to play with its restrictions. Are “veteran” players that purchased the game going to get some sort of “bonus” or something? I was readin the FAQ but didnt see anything being said there.

Okay watched the stream and its indeed an expansions. Still no info about if its paid or free.

1-2 years ago I have seen posts in many sites stating future updates and expansions will be free. aka you dont have to pay for it.

So my question is is the expansion thing going to be free? Or it will cost gems?

I understand being able to choose 1 of the armor skins but why only 1 of the weapon skins? Some of use use 4-6 weapons…i know we can get more copies of the skin whenever we want but still …. You only get 2 weapons… 1 at 1000 and 1 at 2000… they could do it like to be able to choose a new skin every week or every 2 weeks… but only 2 skins for lifetime isnt cool…

Even if they do not redo all story cutscenes. I hope the least they do is to continue do the same style for all events in the future. The cutscene was amazing

Yes. And since they didn’t have the ability to remove them from players inventories, they made them promise to delete them or risk further non-action.

If I remember correctly, in ArenaNet’s defense they did ban the abusers for 3 whole days, or something.

I think you’re safe here. I’m sure they were well aware that some people were going to end up with additional Wintersday gifts, but accepted that this was likely the easiest way to deal with the problem they were originally having.

There was another thing with Karma and food items where you bought the items entirely with Karma (for for minor amounts of copper) and made food that you could sell for pure profit. Anyone who was streaming themselves doing it earned a permanent ban. It also led to changes in how you were allowed to interact with anything purchased with Karma for better or for worse.

Back on topic though, yeah you are safe. The original fix for the problem failed, so they accepted that they had to push a different fix that would have some people get double the rewards.

Come to think of it, didn’t that also happen for the Lost Shores? The compensation mail for people who attended but didn’t get the chest at the end or had to leave and stuff went to some people who had done the event one/two/three times (depending if you were able to find the right overflows for it or not).

I dont think it was same for lost shores. I got my reward from the chest and yet again i didnt get mail but this case is different

No, it’s not safe. Unlike the situation with the players who dishonestly obtained thousands of karma weapons for virtually nothing in the weeks following the launch of the game, they’re going to come down on you like a sack of hammers.

Prior to the box’s removal which was near Tixx in LA. I got my gifts after a day later i logged in and i got mail again with Tixx Gift. Is this supposed to be bug and are we allowed to have 2 rewards ? Which clearly the wiki said one per acc. Or this is extra reward?

Whenever i go underwater part of my boots doesnt matter which armor become gray/white/back. As you can see on this picture http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/2943/27173755.png

When i try to recolour them the breather changes colour and when i try colour the breather the boots become gray and white again. Any 1 else have same issue or just my personal bug

The different stones for each 1-79 and then 80 for transmutating makes changing looks harder… i want to wear the look of another set but i have to use the other one….

Am i the only 1 who thinks that armor lack different models? Trough the period of 1-80lvl i change the look of my armor only 2-3 times. There isnt much different look beside the dungeon exotic gear at 80…

So some overflows doesnt have phase 2 completed again after they reseted it once….. will this cause problems for phase 3 ?

Yesterday as many of you may saw. After the new build phase 2 was reseted. My question is : Are the people who done this before the restart forced to do it again or we can be safe and continue to phase 3 without problems today? Need GM answer.

The other question is: Where will phase 3 start? At LA or Southsun Cove?

I had 15k hp… met a little karka … i got shot by volley of attack… dead… i am elementalist i know im supposed to die easy… but this is too fast

Will that affect the people who already finished it ? Like rollbacking progress or jumping achivements? Or only reseted the event progression and removed waypoints and explore.

5 mins prior to this topic there was new build and client reseted. When i came back the island was reseted. The only thing that remained was the 2 default camps you choose form lion arch to go to the southsun cove.

Is the island supposed to reset or what?

Also where is phase 3 going to begin? On the island or will start from LA?

The first phase start at 20:00GMT or 22:00GMT+2 in my place. So my quesiton is … the first 2 phases will be located at Lion Arch. While the 3rd phase will be located at the new island.

About the dungeon. Where is the npc located and is the dungeon located in the new island ?

I hope arenanet does something like opening it even without mobs just for exploring at the last day of the event… the only thing i need to get title is to explore the dungeon :S

Cant arenanet just turn on the dungeon… even if they leave it empty i just need the explore…. and today is the last day of the event too

So basically i can forget about the title and hopefully next year get it O_o

I was told that the last part of the explore is to get to the dungeon…. sadly it appears that i missed it and there is abokittenely no way to get there.. which makes it worse that im forced to either do the carving which will take ages….. or the clocktower which will cost me 1-2 new keyboards… isnt there way for developers to open the isntance for a moment so the people who missed it to be able to get it and to dont have to wait till next year.
