Guild Wars 2

Hello.

I’ve played GW2 since release. Currently Have Engineer/Ele/Mesmer/Guardian all lvl 80.

I’m looking for an active guild who run group content frequently. I took a year break from the game and need to work hard on getting some ascended items and stuff for raids.

I’m in the UK, can use Teamspeak with mic.

Not sure how other engineers feel but personally I don’t think engineers currently benefit from Legendary weapons aesthetics wise.

I never have my pistol/shield or rifle out. Always have a kit in hand and therefore have no way to show off my hard work in game. I can’t think of a way around it but I do find it quite disapointing.

can you not put a queue function in? When Join is hit queue me up so I can get into the server without having to stand around spamming.

This has nothing to do with the mega-server – it was even worse before. I had a hard tome completing an LS before due to the fact that SO many overflows were started and could never get in with my guild group.

This is a non-issue.

It’s the same now. My Guild are in the Pavillion. I spam as much as possible to join but have no luck in joining in over half an hour of trying. Atleast with the overflows there was a chance that is was populated enough the people were trying to do the META there. As it is now everybody is trying to find a taxi and AFK’ing till they do.

I was thinking about how plain the turrets look and the fact that all the races of the exact same make and model. Do you think there could be any chance of Turret makeovers?

For the Asura we could have some futuristic turrets firing lasers instead of bullets. Blue flame instead of regular fire.

Charr could have some Steampunk style turrets firing Cogs. Maybe some oil on fire instead of the normal flame.

Sylvari can have plants ofc. Firing seeds etc

Humans I’m not sure about. Anyone got any ideas for them?

It would be nice to stand out a little more with the turrets.

I’m the only one with access. I’ve checked TP so many times now there is nothing that I have bought or placed an order for that would be 30g. I’ve checked my bags and I haven’t got anything that I may have misclicked and bought.
I really can’t see where the money has disappeared too. I can only think that I bought a sigil for 3 silver last night but the TP took 30g instead.

Logged off last night with about 120 gold. Logged back in this morning with only 90 gold. Is there a way that I could trace where this has gone? Any outgoing mail that has been sent etc.

Unfortunatly I have had yet another email from your team and they won’t do anything about it. It’s a shame I have to cut short my experience in Guild Wars 2.

I have been back and forward with the customer service about an incident last Friday/Saturday. I logged on to find my account blank. All characters were deleted.
I contacted your service team as prompted by this forum board. They told me the characters were definitely deleted (obviously) but that the account was not compromised., therefore it must have been me that deleted the characters.
I explained and showed all the information. Gave them my IP address I use to log into the account and the hackers IP address that had logged into the account they were clearly different.
They said that they would not offer me an account rollback and I am now left with nothing to show from 400+ hours of gameplay.

Now I understand that account security is my responsiblity but I’m very disappointed that nothing, not even a good will gesture had been offered my way. I’ve emailed them again with yet more information but now they are just ignoring me. Hopefully this may be addressed so future players don’t run into this problem.

So it appears some time yesterday I was hacked. everything on my account is gone. All characters deleted. What can I do can I get this stuff back?

Seems like we are slightly split with more leaning towards the GW1 skills style.

I think a nice compromise would be to add Skill capture Elites from bosses atleast. Make them very difficult to get or with a long cooldown. Skills like rez entire party. Deal 30k instant AoE damage. Game changer skills.

I know the game has it’s problems elsewhere. Content, Grind, Economy etc…

For me the best part about GW1 was the diversity of builds that you could achieve with your character. I remember the first time 55HP monk was discovered. It opened up a whole lot of farming options for your monk that you never had available before. Underworld was brilliant fun farming ectos alone. The best part, When the devs discovered the farming the didn’t just outright nerf the build, they added monsters to make it harder, but not impossible.

I also enjoyed the skill hunting aspect. Exploring the world looking for Random bosses to steal the Elite Skill. Not only was this good Solo fun but it almost made you re-enter story missions to capture the Skill you missed. If this was implemented in GW2 it might help alot of lower level characters get a Story group.

The biggest benefit to the GW1 skill system was PvP. It made PvP dynamic. When touch Rangers were first introduced it was a nightmare and it forced you to find ways to deal with such builds.

I feel GW2 moved away from GW1 in the wrong direction. The skill caps and proffession changes in GW1 were what made the game great.

It’s seriously one of the bets designed puzzles there is and requires you to think fast. It certainly is frustrating but the sense of achievement you feel when you complete it is one of the best moments you can have in this game…

Dungeons for me are the best way to make Gold. I can make close to 2g or more doing the 3 paths in TA

I’m not trying to prove anything with the video. It’s purely just for people that want to see the changes that were made.
I did say in my first post that we still had to kite and I agree with everyone that it’s impossible to kill all the monsters like how the dungeon designer wants it done. It just won’t happen and does need changed. I’m pretty sure I said that we still had to kite and graveyard run in the video aswell.

I’ve seen a few posts now from people looking for a video Post Patch of the CoF run on patch 2.
I managed to get the full run done with a decent PuG group with the changes made. We still never managed to kill everything in the Magg room and the Magmacyte part still seems abit buggy, but hopefully for anybody that is stuck in there this might help.

Good question!

Sometimes it’s shouted in the map chat Channel and I go to the Location and start recording. Others it’s an accident like Visier’s Jump, and sometimes they are fairly obvious like Weyandt’s revenge.

Yes your right! but it’s not really an In-Depth Guide or even a Guide if you can call it that. It’s just a suggestion of a few skills and how I think they should be set-up.

Hi Nightow. The healing stat does affect the Bombs. I think with 0 Healing Stat the bombs heal for 180, I’ve not tested it by switching gear etc so I’m not too sure how high it could possibly go to.

Thanks for the feedback! I do sometimes use Elixirs but probably not as often as I should. I’m going to run the next dungeon with your suggestion of Elixir R. I think your right that it would be a lot more useful than a turret
