Some good ideas there Shadow, increasing incentives for being on low pop servers. If the incentives were worth while it could actually make low pop the servers people were moving to rather than high pop.

I also agree that increasing the cap is about the worst thing Anet can do at this point, when T1 servers are hitting 3-4 hour ques and then you add more players it’s just ridiculous. If you want us all on 6 servers just merge them already and be done with it.

The 2v1 idea has some complications as far as implementation but I really like the concept. It would really even out some of these match ups are are killing the WvW game and bring back some balance. A T1 server might actually stand a chance of losing in some match ups.

Adding in a commander tag that only your guild could see would be such an amazing addition to the game. Many guilds would like to run in their own groups however this requires voice communication or taking over guild chat etc. It’s a burden to run a team guild team in guild wars 2.

Having guild commander icons also eliminates the ability to have teams make characters on your server, log in and sit there spying on where the commanders are moving and reporting to the enemy. It’s takes tactical thinking out of the game to know where your opponent is at all times.

Many people do not like the zerg VS zerg game but because it’s so much easier to follow the commander tag the game just flows into zerg VS zerg rather than smaller guild groups fighting all over the map. less lag, better fights and overall better experience. Some people will chose to still roll in large zergs, but the key is having a choice and the tools in game to make that easier to do.

I realize there are work arounds such as voice coms, and extra communication but it’s a pain when people just want to play casually and have fun.

The commanders and squads in general need a lot of love, I would really like to see this added to the list.

man not even kidding TC and FA are ganging up on Kaineng on EBG. Both TC and FA are ONLY attacking Kaineng. This is just plain dirty. Bring it on we won’t give up we will keep defending EBG from both these servers RISE and CO wont give up on ya.

Really great fights CO and Rise, can’t believe you won’t let go of that last keep lol. FA came at us a few times but we have two guilds Flux and TTC holding that side of the map. You saw the siege we had there when you tried to rush Pang

Really great communication tonight in EB from all TC guilds. Special thanks to Nightlight and Kendrick for not just being great commanders but great people as well.

We will be creating some WvW video’s on reset Friday this week to put up on the website. We also have our first Guild Rush planned for Saturday and a scavenger hunt on Sunday.

This is getting a bit too much we have green attking us from behind and red from the front i get we are in 2ed but we are not 2ed by much. One world cant take 2 on at once and that is what effect is going on this week and last week. This is getting silly at this point.

Oh, please, not FA’s two-versus-one crying again!

- TC currently holds their 3rd og Kaineg, hardly something allies would do.
- Kaineg has a keep in TC’s EB third and nothing in FA, hardly something allies would do.
- Kineg is attacking our EB keep as we speak, hardly something allies would do.

But, sure, sure, keep complaining about 2vrs1. Gee.

I was commanding yesterday in EB for about 6 hours. Every time we try to hit Kain FA takes pang and hits OW. That brings us right back to that side of the map. We actually wanted to flip SM but because FA would not stop hitting us we couldn’t. It’s difficult to push the stronger team (KN) and fight off FA so we end up into FA territoriality.

We can go round and round I am sure, but Anz and Mend were wood most of the day from being flipped by KN.

Guild missions, WvW, dungeons, dragons, spvp you name it we do it. Come be a part of an amazing community. We run an incredibly active roster and there is never a time when we don’t have members online.

It’s like that for all the match ups when there are major changes in server populations. (which just occurred again) It might be a month before this is all sorted out and by then a bunch of guilds might jump ship again to band together on a server and we will start the process over.

Just want to thank Mag and DB for some of those great fights in EB today. SM really got crazy their for awhile and some of those 3 way battles across the various towers and camps were amazing.

We have switched from Ventrilo to TS3 as of today. It should provide us with a few more tools than what ventrilo offered. WvW reset tomorrow and guild missions this weekend. There are always lots of things to do in game as a member of TV.

TV is once again opening recruitment. We plan to bring in 15 new people to the guild over the next week or so. If your looking for a very good guild with some great people now is the time to join us.

Not sure what was up with the lag tonight, but aside from that is was a lot of fun.

This problem is detrimental to more casual servers because they have a less hardcore player base. The more people you have leaving the match after playing a couple hours the worse the problem is. Hardcore servers where people are playing for 10-12 hours and not logging out aren’t affected to the same degree.

Anet please listen to your player base. When you have so many people seeing the exact same thing something is wrong. The data is not correct, those people who the client says are present simply aren’t.

Hi all,

Queues are per map, per team – so there is a queue for TC players on the Eternal Battlegrounds and a different queue for TC players on each Borderlands, and a different queue for each of the other teams on each of the maps.

During the time it takes for players to change maps it is possible for there to be a queue even if there are less players in a map than the maximum capacity because the players taking up those empty slots are still “in flight” between maps. It’s also possible for a slot to take a while to fill if e.g. people see the queue pop, wait until the progress bar for the automatic transfer is almost empty, and then choose to renter the queue. At that point the system will move on and look for other players to fill that slot but all of that takes a bit of time. We’ve watched the queue numbers a lot and generally it’s only a few slots that are in this reserved state at any time.

Just to be sure I ran a quick database query for the last few days and all the queue numbers look quite reasonable.

So I don’t know where in the map those players are when you’re looking for them, but they’re definitely in there somewhere!

I believe the data you seeing is incorrect. The players are not hiding some place in the map. We (the players playing on the map) checked. We check the spawn the jumping puzzle etc. Those players are not there. Something is wrong, be it in the que system or the log out system or the way the program see’s the number of people.

It is not an organization issue. At the start of the match up we are very organized and can hold our own. As the hours go on the numbers dwindle to nothing. We are still doing the same things we did at the start, communicating have scouts out etc. Slowly we are just out manned as people log out for the night.

As that happens we have guild mates in ventrilo who cannot enter into the WvW map.
Going from having our 1/3rd completely covered and protected to having less than 35 players to cover the entire map is crazy.

TC is not as organized as other servers I agree, but we are not incompetent either. Many players/servers are saying the exact same thing we are. Something game breaking is very wrong with the WvW system.

We did a head count by asking people to type 1 in team chat about 10 mins ago, we had 31 people respond. We have que’s lasting 3 hours. even if you assume that half of the people playing did not respond that would mean we had 62 total at the very most. Something is completely screwy.

I believe it has something to do with players logging out of the game directly from WvW.

Transcendent Veneration [TV] is looking for a few more active players to fill out our roster. Hello Broskadamus, you are correct we do not ask for a certain amount of time or build or anything like that. We do ask for good character in people, be respectful and represent the guild in a positive manner, those are the things we do ask for.

We have hardcore to casual players and many of those change according to their schedule at the time. We are trying not not just build a great guild, but a great community within that guild.

Great turn out for WvW reset last night. We could always use more good people to add to the fun times.

- Allow commanders to change their icon color to help eliminate confusion on the battle field.

- All members of a squad should see other members of that squad as yellow dots on the mini map. (yellow to match squad chat text color.)

- /joinsquad Playername Needs to be in game and work from anywhere on the map.

- Allow commanders raid frames for the squad and give the ability to invite and remove people from their squads.

- Allow kick votes for WvW groups while in WvW.

All simple fixes and would go a very long way in adding to the enjoyment of WvW IMO.

We have handed Yak SM multiple times through this match up to keep FA from catching us and leaving the burden of defending SM to YAK. We wiped FA from OW last night for 2 hours while we held pang. We could easily have helped them take it but it did not create an advantage for us. Instead we killed both sides while making sure OW was not taken and we held pang until SM flipped.

We do what is tactically advantageous for us regardless of who we fight. Why would we care who gets second? We want first and we do what we can to make sure that happens. Sometimes that will roll Yak way sometimes FA, but helping either of you get second? Why would we, what’s in it for us? You’re both the enemy.

Our roster is filling up again but we do still have room available. P.S. Fun times in WvW reset last night everyone. Nothing like guild groups dominating to put a smile on your face.
