Beside the rage imbuing me when I look at Rampage .
The so-called “Plague stomp” is working fine for me. You may have to check your keyboard (macro?); ping and so own and so forth.

I never use lich in wvw. Maybe in a zerg its ok. But under 10-15 people, I feel it’s much too fragile. Plague gives you a nice stomp, and flesh golem gives you nice CC.
Sadly, Flesh Golem is often CC before he CC since the update of stability which left him with 1 stack of Stability for 15sec rather than Stability for 15sec.
Mind you that a CCed Flesh Golem do not Charge , but the skill goes on full cooldown.

This change is out of the mark in many ways.
First and for most, how will you keep track of such a tricky mechanic in/out of the game?
I wish a lot of luck to those, in few months, will wonder why some of the extra condition applied by corruption skills have increased duration will other not.
In addition, why would you normalize leaps’ speed/distance; skills CD and effects with skills from traits (Weakening Shroud Spiteful Spirit [cough cough]), yet then add some unique/surprising behaviours on a random trait…

The patch note state:
Signet of Vampirism: Fixed a bug that caused this skill to heal for more than its listed value.
However, The following sort of sum it up.
Only ANet could fix a bug and immediately bug the exact same skill they just bug fixed, all while nerfing the absolute hell out of a previously worthless skill that had just become viable.

The thing is, with the new system you no longer have to make a bigger point investment to reach the end of a trait line.
I’m not sure enough to bet on that. Admitting I’m wrong, General principle #3 is somehow obsolete.
For what I understood you’ll have to slot an Adept and a Master to slot a Grand Master trait (as before). This is therefore a bigger point investment to pick a GM than an Adept. Did I/Don’t you miss understood the change making minor bound to a trait pick? Whatever it’s, time will tell.
Also, I’d rather like Raine Avina (The Gates Assassin.9827) to read through with his own knowledge than a debate on that in this thread

It does, lf regen always works the same way when you’re in DS.
However, 2% extra lf for a nearby death is just pathetic, so this one needs to be changed anyway.
I’m sorry but I just double checked it and you literally get no(0%) LF from nearby death will in DS. This is as simple as that.

Here is my reading of the traits rework.
- General principle #1 Rework effects that work against our class mechanic such as heal upon entering DS.
- General principle #2 Don’t include ICD on skill that inherit DS CD.
- General principle #3 Moving traits between Adept/Master/Grand Master ask for trait rework.
Spite
- Spiteful Renewal -> Change it to grant LF. (General principle #1)
- Siphoned Power -> As 2 stacks of Might don’t feel like a minor GM trait, I’d suggest to reduce the ICD. Maybe having it only in DS (1stack per hit no ICD) could be encouraging class mechanic plays.
- Spiteful Talisman -> Because it’s so easy to have boons, i’d suggest 10% more dmg.
- Axe training -> This version is weaker than the current one -> revert.
- Unholy Feast -> Remove the ICD even if it means the skill do less dmg. (General principle #2)
Curse
- Toxic Landing -> Honestly, any non corruption skill may work, but CPC is weakening us for 6sec wich prevent to get OOC.
- Weakening Shroud -> 1stack of bleed rather than 2, but no ICD. (General principle #2)
- Reaper’s Precision -> This skill deserve to be buff in order to feat a Master slot. (General principle #3)
- Terror -> This skill deserve to be buff in order to feat a Grand Master slot. (General principle #3)
Death Magic
- Soul comprehension -> Will nearby death grant LF will in DS someday? If not, change this trait. (General principle #1)
Blood Magic
- Ritual of life -> Will the initial heal work on the target? If not, add as much rez speed as you like, this will still be weak mostly since WoP regen has been cut in duration.
- Transfusion -> This skill deserve to be buff in order to feat a Master slot. (General principle #3) & (General principle #1)
- Vampiric Precision -> This skill deserve to be buff in order to feat a Master slot. (General principle #3)
- Deathly Invigoration -> This skill deserve to be buff in order to feat a Grand Master slot. (General principle #3) & (General principle #1)
The rework for all classes is a tremendous amount of work. Congrats to you ANet (should I say NCsoft?). It’s going to be refreshing when all those changes hit live.

Also necro warhorn#4 can cancel save half a second and warrior also gets a lot more out of warhorn canceling since its spamable on lower CD

Hello dear,
With Terror trait, Fear become a damaging condition.
Recently we had a fix about condition damage:
Updated condition damage. Previously, a condition that had a fractional remainder of time after it dealt damage would not inflict the rest of its damage. For example, a 1.5-second burn would deal 1 second of burning damage, then fail to inflict the remaining 0.5 seconds of burning. Conditions will now deal this fractional damage either at the beginning or end of their duration, depending on when the next damage pulse would occur and their remaining duration.
However, the new condition damage mechanic isn’t working for Fear damages.
Therefore, if you fear at 0.75 sec (global condition damage timer), your 1.25 sec fear will tick twice (at the 1 sec and 2 sec mark).
However, if you fear at 0.25 sec (global condition damage timer), your 1.25 sec fear will tick only once (at the 1 sec) and the remaining 0.5sec do no damage instead of half the the damage.
Please fix it.

Hello dear,
With Master of Terror trait, Doom ability is missing 1/4s duration on target under 600range.
No trait:
Duration under 600units: 1.5sec
Duration over 600units: 1sec
With trait:
Duration under 600units: 2sec
Duration over 600units: 1.5sec
Duration under 600units (no trait): 1.5sec
Trait duration increase: 50%
1.5+(1.5*0.5) = 1.5+0.75 = 2.25
Please fix the skill.

With Master of Terror trait, the 50% conditon duration increase on fear isn’t displayed will the mouse is hover Condition Duration stat (unlike bleed from Hemophilia or runes&sigils).

I’m not ready yet to get this in a proper way on the bug section of the forum….
I checked bleed and burning dmg application over 1/2 and 1/4 sec. – work fine
I then though it was huge for necromancer fear damage because that tick/second is nerfing hard anything leaving 3/4 to 1/4 of a second fear (with terror trait).
Sadly, after golem charge stab and FITG trait which were arguadably forgotten by devs, Fear is next….
The dmg are still not apply if your foe do not have the fear condition at the full second.

With a Scepter Elementalist:
Phoenix hit twice more than it should during the travel with a specific landing.
What does that mean?
If you target properly, the Phoenix can hit twice for the travel toward your foe, once from the explosion and twice for the travel toward the caster.
Just in case. It must be one hit for the travel toward your foe, one hit from the explosion and one hit for the travel toward the caster.

With a Thief off-hand Pistol:
Black Powder hit above 900range.
The range in game is about 1200, but the tooltip still state 900 range since launch.
Fun fact:
With ricochet (X in Trickery line) the hit happen at 1050range rather than 1200 or 1350…

So its a decent weapon set but its main strength is for debuffing and generating lifeforce imo.

Also, to be even more accurate about the Focus implementation (see @Blackmoa.3186). Focus #4 can be cast and connect at 900range, but it will only bounce within 600range to its connection point.
Here we go even more laughable:
Traited you can cast it at 1200range. Guess what, it’ll only bounce within 600range to its connection point…
Besides, how often do you really use the auto attack of any weapon in PvP?
Dagger Necro, Thief, elem; Staff guard; LB ranger, war may have to disagree about that

The dps increse is about 33% rather than 50%, but yes that’s a bug known by few.
Btw, I hope those two post won’t bring macro users to roll axe as it happened for elem S/X such as drazeh who like to use them in hot join.

I’m using axe for so long now…
Also, I can guaranty you that hybrid and power necro using Axe + Focus maybe really strong. However, I won’t recommend such a setup for sPvP.
Anyway, I may point you to this channel where you may find power and hybrid spec using the Axe + Focus switch with a rather smooth synergy.
I think that most importantly, you may find a variety of A/F combo in there such as fear to connect F#4 => DS#5 ends => A#2
PS:
it is 10% while wielding an axe rather than 10% to all axe skills.
It’s 10% more dmg to any skill from #1 to #3 will wielding the axe. That’s about the difference of DPS between axe and staff. Consequently, staff is equal to axe+mastery, but on #1 to #5

My thoughts are that necro are good at doing both type of dmg at the same time.
Also, condi necro aren’t that great at doing Life Force will power necro drop it so fast.
Consequently, I may recommend you some sort of hybrid build as shown here
It’ll offer most variations, and will it may not be ideal at one role you may feet more team comp will softening your counter.
I’d suggest you cut the amount of mights I get via BiP for instance for something more skirmish and up to your appreciation (e.g. Epidemic with condi engi/war; spectral wall with beefier ally, etc…)

That’s really hard to get a correct guess with all the buff going on from WvW. Bloodlust, guard fortitude, and co.
Anyway that was a cleaver try. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting you’d go that far in the estimation flow (even if I know you like maths :b).

4 in curses since you get fury on DS with spectral attunement
4 in soul reaping since you get the auto spectral armor with spectral mastery (one to guess still )

In fact, the character sheet isn’t updated.
However, the Demon Angel build testify that this trait is working as intended ( 31 (base) + 50 (trait) + 20 (fury) = 101% crit chance ).
Last but not least, I pointed out that 101%crit chance in the char sheet is the requirement to get the effective 100% crit chance. Again, please keep in mind that 100% crit chance in the char sheet is truly 99% crit chance.

@protovibe.8417 : Don’t be too much motivated for your necromancer as it’s one of the most flawed class with no(few) dev considerations because “it’s too long to fix us”. Also, lower is your interest lower will be the ‘falling damages’.
