I played without breaks since pre-release of GW2 and I guess I now realized that wvw is dead. Ever since they added stuff in pve that wvw players had to grind pve to get I’ve seen a decline in wvw interest. Introduction of Silverwastes was kinda bad since wvw isn’t profitable and Silverwastes was – then a big blow when everyone had to get the specializations through pve and that’s basically when we lost half of our players.
Then about when you’d expect everyone be done with the specializations comes Raids.

I had so much fun in wvw but unfortunately the new map really complicated things and I just see no reason why a new wvw player would join an empty, really complicated map so why would there be an incline in population again? No people, no fights, no loot and no fun.
[Pure] is looking for hungry, competitive WvW players that are between semi hardcore and hardcore. We raid 5 times a week, occasional scrims and are a highly active, have a strong core group but need more ppl to that group.
You like to push yourself to the absolute limit, laugh about epic wins and terrible losses, maybe have a drink with us during reset.
Same for me. I use Dragon’s starcake. It runs out and disappears until I re-activate the Starcake. So yea, 150 gems for metabolic primer and about 82 silver per hour for the starcake. Frustrating
Since precursor is lvl 80 and you get loot based on your level I
d say no. I don’t think I ever got lvl 80 loot when I am around lvl 20. Could be wrong but I think it would be logic.
