100% Map completion in Old Tyria and no reward for completing Verdant Brink. Nice to knoe I’m not alone and just adding my +1 hoping this gets fixed soon
In order to help cover all the time zones, I’m a happy EU based Togger who’s playing on the NA servers and if you have any questions about the guild then feel free to give me a whisper as well. My easiest to type char name is “Mews”
I also have this problem. Meta is no longer achievable because of the bombs now being complete, but not giving credit.
I really enjoyed the Whispers mission version of this minigame. I also really have enjoyed the first few NPC characters I’ve played against and eventually bested… Until I got to the norn. After over an hour of getting him down to about 25% and then failing, I just can’t take it anymore. This isn’t fun, it’s infuriating. I cave, norn. You win. Kitten this.
We’ll look into making it slightly smaller compared to adult cats but it still won’t be tiny compared to other minis.
Thank you, thanks you, thank you! I’m sure next to a norn character it looks somewhat ok, but next to my asura the sheer scale of the thing is borderline freakish. Having the sweet monstrous fuzzball toned down a bit into a sweet little fuzzball would be lovely
As a collector, I’ve nabbed all five of the baby minis which have been available over the past month, and like many folk have been patiently awaiting the arrival of the Mini White Kitten… hoping it would be kitten sized!
But it’s the same size of the lion cub, or any normal miniature cat. Why isn’t it actually kitten sized?
Having a goal to work for is not a bad idea even if it takes a long time. When the goal seems to be further away every time you look at it (especially when someone is benefiting from your effort), that is just frustrating.
This. this and so many times this. It’s like chasing the horizon… with every step I take, the goal is one step further away. I don’t mind saving over the long haul, but when I see ‘The Lover’ going for nearly 700g now, roughly 200g more than it was a mere week ago, the idea of making the journey to purchase it just isn’t fun anymore.
As an alt-aholic, I would really hope that by the time I do slowly gather my way to crafting a legendary, that it could be shared across my each of my beloved characters.
For people who focus on one single character, it matters little as that’s the character their legendary will always be for. For those of us who enjoy seeing every aspect of the game via multiple characters, it’s hard to choose just the one to give that treasured item to. Please do eventually make them account bound! Think of the alts! :P
Just think though… the rarest race (charr), and the rarest gender (fem), with the rarest profession (necro, I think), with the rarest fur color (idk lol), with the rarest face/body/pattern/horn option…..
That’s not just rare… it’s SUPER DUPER rare! XDD
Well, three out of five ain’t bad… Grizabella, my main character, is a sweet-faced, white-tiger, female, charr necromancer. According to Wikipedia, Grizabella means “Grey or Grizzled Beauty”, so her coloration was meant to be! ^^
So of course I based him on my actual, real life cat! Picked him up and tried to actually match his fur patterns and eye color and everything. I don’t know why tons more people don’t do this.
You’re not alone, DaMunky! I tried this as well with my own RL kitty, namesake included. The screenshot below is as close as I could manage to her in the character creator. ^^
But I’m also totally guilty of having a white tiger charr, as well as a black and orange calico one.

It’s not only when swimming. With tier 2 light pants, my female charr’s tail clips through the tail covering at all times. I just gave up and dyed the whole thing white to match her fur. :/
+1 to the OP for putting into words what so many of us are thinking. Anet is doing an amazing job, and no one can predict exactly what will happen during such large scale events, and sometimes things do go wrong, but I believe they’re doing very very well overall.
I for one am delighted to see them keep delivering content as amazing as what I’ve seen over the past few months. Looking forward to December and whatever they have in store.
I too had a wonderful time during the final stage of the event. I was on Teamspeak with over a twenty fellow guildies and every single one of us were laughing and having a great experience and took happy accomplished screenshots at the end of us standing over the defeated boss. The only bored moments were the reinforcement stages where it was quipped that we sure were going to need a lot of butter and a lobster bib to drop at the end to go with all the karka-lobsters we were slaying.
In any case, we certainly are looking forward to more large scale events like this. Thank you Anet for a great gaming memory!
I love my little fluffy-tailed female necro-charr and wouldn’t have her any other way.
I also play on the OP’s home server, Desolation, and they’re right that female charr are few and far between there. So CharrGirl if you ever pass ‘Grizabella’ on Deso when checking tails, be sure to say howdy
