What is it?

It’s the Insignia required to craft Trailblazer’s gear. Which is one of the new stat set’s added to the game. It has Condi Damage and Toughness as the major stats, with Vitality and Expertise being the minor ones.

Some of the recipes are on the TP and apparently you can farm the recipe books in Tangled Depths, but afaik no one knows how to get the insignias.

Hi everyone. Since launch the game crashes after a few minutes on my desktop (I have been playing on my laptop). Because this is happening since launch it can’t have anything to do with patches (right??). I have tried reinstalling the game, CCC and the graphics card drivers, I have tried setting the Affinity to two cores (instead of four), I even reinstalled windows from scratch to no effect.

I use a Intel Core2Quad CPU Q6700 @2.66GHz, a ATI Radeon HD3850 and 3gb ram.

I am open to any suggestions you can offer me

Hello fellow travellers!

Travellers Of Tyria is a fairly new guild, located on the European server Seafarer’s Rest. We are an international, english speaking guild where all races and professions are welcome and the only thing we ask of you is to be friendly and help each other whenever you can. As of now we have about 20 enthusiastic and friendly members, but we are looking to grow more.

We aim to be an all-round guild, doing everything from PvE and dungeons to WvW and sPvP. We are also very interested in the all new guild activities which will hopefully provide guild gameplay like we haven’t seen before in Guild Wars 2.

Most of all however we aim to create a tight community, a group of friends and not just guildmates. Friends we play and share exciting events and moments with. As soon as the guild is a reason you want to log into the game, then we’ll have achieved our goals.

Having said all that please understand that we indeed are a new guild, we are not fully upgraded and haven’t got a website or forums yet. All those thing are on a to-do list, but not on the very top.

We are also looking for experienced Guild Wars 2 players who would like to help us grow the guild. They will be promoted reasonably quickly and will be able to start helping very soon.

I might try that. But I have to add that I didn’t try to sink the right one first. I just happened to do more damage to the right one, because it threw more fish (or it took normal amount of damage compared to the bugged left ship). When the right ships sinks the left one is still pretty much intact.

My friend and I have tried completing the lvl 80 personal story quest “Ships of the Line” three times now. Every time we reach the objective “Destroy the Dead Ships before they sink your fleet” we get stuck. After destroying the right ship and returning a few more fish to the left ship, the latter stops throwing fish, so we can’t sink it. After reading the wiki, which doesn’t mention any other strategy I am guessing that it’s a bug. (Btw we are on the Underworld server.)

I attached a screenshot I took. You can see the right ship sunk and the left ship missing the right most throwing tentacle.

I welcome any advice and would happily admit that I missed something obvious, rather than this being a legitimate bug that’s gonna take a while to be fixed.

What is the maximum level difference of the items I put in the Mystic Forge and the item I get from the Mystic Forge? Could I (for example) add four level 40 items in the Mystic Forge and get a level 80 item back, or is there some sort of limit, over which the level difference can’t rise?

Hi guys.

I don’t have Thief character. I play as a Mesmer or a Guardian and I play a lot of WvW. I have a fair chance of defeating most professions in a 1v1 situation (obviously depending on the opponent players skill), but when I encounter a Thief I am dead within 5 seconds, without even being able to react.
Now you may think that I am just a noob who can’t play the game, but I really do alright against the other professions. My conclusion is that I just don’t know how to counter a Thief, so I decided to find some tips and strategies. And there is no better place for that than the Thief section of the forum.
Do you have any tips for me? Have you maybe encountered a Thief yourselves? What would your ideal build be (for any profession) if had to duel a Thief?

I love my asura guardian. Most of all I love my very long ears flopping around when I’m walking/running. But most high level head gear I have seen cover the ears up (with the exception of the cultural armor). Do you know of any lvl 80 head gear (heavy) that looks cool, without it covering the ears?

why? is it a problem if non guild members join you? Anyway I think this mechanic isn’t designed for guilds anyway. They have their guild chat to communicate. This mechanic is designed for people who aren’t in a big guild but are looking for other people to fight with in WvW.

You should try other weapon sets. I used to play with sword/pistol but I feel much more powerful with the scepter/torch + staff combo. I guess you could switch the torch for the pistol if you like the duelist.

Just try different combinations before giving up.
