Sorry but it’s not anyone’s fault but your own if you deleted your character to make room for a profession that is not yet released, heck, does not even have a set release date.

It’s like me expecting flood in next 10 years, moving all the stuff to the roof, and then complaining my life sucks cause all my stuff’s on the roof and there’s no flood today…

well actually it’s not… the expansion is coming DOESN’T matter when … the deal changed.. if the deal was this way from the beginning i wouldn’t delete my character…

I think this gesture should of been in Gems instead of a character slot.

That was your choice to buy the character slot. You can use it later in the future if you choose. I personally see no reason to kitten about an extra free slot. As for deleting the characters, ArenaNet can and more than likely will be able to do rollbacks on characters. As I am also certain they can do rollbacks on gems if you really wanted.

That is a pretty stupid argument to be quite honest. People buy gems all the time it would hardly do anything granted i don’t think 800 gems would be the right way to go. Just more or less telling you your argument is bad.

just to clarify I didn’t buy an extra slot… i deleted my lvl 80 2nd warrior..
and you are right it was people choice to buy an extra slot BUT the conditions changed… [bad example incoming just couldn’t think about anything else]
but its like buying a phone and pay for a case and then find out you get another case free.. you’d want to return that case wouldn’t you ?…

anyway since that’s not my case i don’t really care.. but you really think a rollback is possible?

Hey, I just started playing again after 1.5 years break from gw2… looking forward to the expansion.
I’m soon moving back to EU servers. [still trying to decide which server]
So just doing some research n see the available guilds. I’m interested in PVE and PVP mostly but I also enjoy the casual WVW[never really got started on WVW]
So looking for Super active PVE Guild that also does pvp and wvw as well or a PVE guild that will let me Rep a WVW guild as well sometimes for the servers sake :P

I am 24, my time zone is GMT+2.

Desolation[cause that is where iv’e been b4 moving to eu]
Gandara[i have a few friends on there]
or Seafarer’s Rest[also have a few friends on there..]

I just recently started playing gw2 Again after being away for over 1.5 years.
before I left I used to play in NA [even tho i’m closer to EU region] because i had friends playing on those servers. It seems since i left [after mega servers were introduced] that I have much higher ping causing lag and its getting annoying playing like that [especially PVP], and now also you are not able to play with people from EU servers… which I also have friends on. and a totally different issue is the timezone.. so different hard to find guilds for my time zone.

So ye… I need to find myself a new server in EU, now since it costs so much ¹⁸⁰⁰
I want to make the right call with choosing a Server to play on… but how do I do that ?XD

as someone that rerolled 2 asuras into humans to equip legendary at a normal size … i dont think its going to ever happen…
besides 350 is too little as cost… should be 800 atleast if not over 1k even… coz u get to keep lvl 80 etc… so should be more pricy than char slot and leveling time

i donnu about solo mode… however , I would like to see a 2-3 man dungeons or mini … since i usually like to play with friends and its usually hard to have more than 3 available… especially since fractals released… so u have to either wait for a long time or go with randoms.

I don’t agree with this at all…. no offense but it is kinda selfish. what if somone had a life crysis or something more important than gaming for a few months… and couldn’t log on? how would u feel it your char would be deleted or had to find a new name for it…? just be creative and find a name you like… no better suggestion.. gl

I agree and like that idea… mostly because when you choose an order in level 30 or so you have no idea what you are doing… and no idea of the influence it has about the gear you can get… so yep great idea.. should be implemented in my opinion.

Hey, I was playing a dungeon was switching between my sets and I thought what if I could do all that by 2 clicks?

The idea is to make an item that can hold up to 1 set [ including necklaces rings, back , weapons], like a box that stays in your inventory that includes the number of items i said..

when you double click it – it gets equipped
when you right click it – you get options to :
1. equip
2. edit[change 1 item or more]
3. disassemble/dismantle [removes all the items inside back to your inventory and lets you equip new ones]
etc…

Then every set we use for different stat or look takes only 1 spot in our inventory.

Now this could be implemented either in the gem shop or maybe as a new dungeon or fractals reward… or some other creative way to obtain it.

I really don’t agree with this idea… basically what you are saying is you want to be able to pay and complete the whole game in a few seconds… what will you do after? hang around in lions arch with the nice looking legendary that you got by buying a karma canister and that you completed 100% map coz of the other upgrades… and the level 80 that you clicked a button to get it 80.. with 2 crafting skills that you also paid for? sorry it just doesn’t make sense to me…

the whole point of the game is to play it isn’t it? all the suggestions here take that away from the game.. except for the tax free thingy which is actually not a bad idea… but ye… overall i just don’t think this is a good idea

I agree with that suggestion.. i was looking on my elementalist like crazy for which area i didn’t complete…

I don’t agree.. once that happens no one will ever run the variety of dungeons… people will farm only Citadel Of Flames… so there will be no point for the other dungeons to even exist…
however, a trading npc is possible… lets say you wanna trade 50 AC tokens to CM just for example so instead of 50 you get 45… or something like that… or get the same amount but lose some gold[depends on the amount you trade..]

anyway i’m not saying it should free or easy… i’m just saying it’s supposed to be humanly possible for people like me who want to experience the game from more than 1 class… [let alone all of them] to get the sets they like… either if its raising the tokens you get per run or making it account bound or even making it 10 times harder[by the amount of tokens you get per run] and make it account bound…

Kasei i can see why you think it wouldn’t make sense, well you already gave up on getting that… [i don’t agree with it tho…], but ye… at least if not make it account wide… there’s always the option to lower the prices of the items…. or actually even better coz then people who saved tokens don’t gain more than people who used theirs, just raise the amount you get from dungeons… because at the moment its just impossible…

I like the idea, I think it’s a good one. It has the potential to alleviate the grind of dungeon gear. For those who like the current setup, there’s nothing stopping them from continuing to dedicate that one character to the grind of earning that gear!

thanks for the comment. ye i get what you mean but that’s my point kinda that you don’t wanna give up all the classes this game has to offer just to be able to grind insanely you way for gear on one single character.

First i’d like to say i’m not an experienced MMO player, ye iv’e played a few but i’m pretty new to this whole thing. (usually it didn’t last too long, except one maybe)

I’m gonna concentrate on one thing that i think could be changed to help and improve the gameplay experience and i would like to see what people think about it.

The main thing for me is Dungeon gear.

-I think this should turn into Account Bound (instead of soul/char bound) and even maybe add a vault like in Pvp.

-The reason i’m saying that is because i found myself the last couple of weeks in the game doing nothing except
grinding dungeons. I really think the level of effort to get the sets is too high (especially if you play more than 1 character)
and it causes people not to enjoy the game for all it has to offer.

-For example i want to play all 8 classes, i want to experience the game from all the different classes and races, and grinding a dungeon
55 times for 1 set for each char seems insane specially if you want a few different looks, and don’t forget about weapons as well.

Where i’m heading is in my opinion grinding each dungeon 23 times 3 times (Light , Medium , Heavy)
and about 7 times each for each weapon and don’t forget leveling a character to 80 is enough to earn the right to
use it and that way people can actually enjoy the game for all the different things it has to offer and won’t stick to one “main”.

I do understand that some grinding is necessary for a game to survive and keep a goal to reach.. but at the moment i feel this is an impossible one for a player like me who wants to play more than one character.
and it costs in wvw and pvp gameplay… you just don’t get to do all the game has to offer when you just grind dungeons all day long for gears.

Well i would like to hear some thoughts, do people think like me?

And to say i’m usually not the guy to write on the forum what i think and so forth.
I just really found a game i really enjoy and love finally and want to be able to enjoy it
in the long run and experience all it has to offer.
