Thanks to both servers for the fun, loot and the headache – its was a good week – now lets hope ANETS Random Matching System doesnt kill the already downed spirit even further by another week of Vizu. Even tho i like fighting you guys i think 4 weeks is enough – kinda feels like we back in T1 endless Vizu fights. Due to the randomness of the RMS i think we should get some other servers. but u know ANETS supergeeks are probably all in viz adding to the lag and keeping them with deso for easy point <thats my thoery - might not be true - what the hell - its what i think anyways>

Great fun in Viz bl tonyt … outnumbered by the AR joint army + Viz 30 – 40man guild group + randoms. We had some pretty fights .. too bad we couldnt flip bay with the gazillion AC built inside by viz.

Good Fights in Deso BL last night – good Job VoTF, Way, Tool, SANG + randoms , also good job to the Blobadopolis from Vizunah. I had fun commading under stress. Good Fights in Hills, Bay, Dawns and Woodhaven with some occasional open field fights.

2-4 Guilds from AR keep pushing together, and 3 – 6 guilds combined for the defence of bay, good job with the organisation. Votf again another highlight of the night – keep up the good fight.

Not sure if it was just mere conicidence but it looked like AR was defending Viz Hills and Viz defending AR Bay – As soon as we push on Hill, AR is there to fight us giving vizunah a lot of time to run to defend it, vise versa on Bay; Viz blob to the rescue. But im not here to QQ about that as we had fun fighting in most cases till the death :P

I think this match up is the most effective for teaching Desolation how it is done. One one side you have the diveristy – using different guilds for different attacks followed by a combination to defend points or attack greater numbers. On the other hand The BLOB. Now that we’ve seen how it is done on both ends of the spectrum we can create something more in the style of Deso for Deso.

No matter how good an opponent is the moment you believe you have lost – you have indeed lost.

I’ve been truly impressed by Augury’s performance during this match-up! After weeks of having to face Vizunah (with the occasional break to face Elona), when I saw we had Vizunah again, I could have slit my wrists. But the open field battles and the tactical play we’re getting from AR has been eye-opening.

The battles around Bay on Viz BL last night was a case in point. AR blob coming – going, coming back and we’re like: “WTF!” – then it dawned on us .. let us break down the doors and take the damage from Viz zerg then they’d come in and clean up! LOL! The 3 way battles were the best fun .. or would have been if I could have moved, let alone spam 1.

I doff my hood to you, AR! And thanks for the loot bags, Viz! Please stop sending in upscaled Pugs, by the way .. the heavy loot bags are much more lucrative.

PS: The Skill lag was horrendous. Spotted Magnetron in map chat: “That’s it! Had enough! I’m gonna start playing Runescape!” I LOL’d!

Yet another insane night <lost my voice – but filled my many bags>

Started of painful being played about like tennis in AR BL, two blobs – serving us about like Andy Murry Vs. Djokovic at wimbledon finals. We decided to hop to Viz BL —-— soooooooo much more fun … Thank you Vizbags for the lootbags and to the many guild in AR who like open field combat flanking with 2 – 3 guilds it was indeed fun AoE looting to the maximum range. I cant name all the guilds we fought but it was indeed a pleasure fighting with outmanned buff and still keeping the pressure on :P … GJ on taking bay when it was 3 way AR – we lost too many but your reinforcement landed right on time.

Basically anyone with a DVG, INVI, CS, TLA, EXG, GoD, GT, or Aftl tag are people you want to follow. I apologize if I missed any guilds with exceptional commanders, do not be offended, that’s just from the top of my head.

Those guilds put out a lot of solid commanders and most have a lot of really good wvw experience.

Maybe. but none of these guilds respects roamer. They are just freekills for them. Seems like the Maxime of all of these guilds is: Kill single roamers with 20+ PPl and then start dancing around them.

Not a single one of these guilds is honourable. ^^ The only guilds i’ve ever seen which definitely respect roamers are Red Guard [RG] and Furious Cookies [FURY].

Ok where do I start from.

first of all this happens to every roamer in the game, if you are caught it means you are a rubbish roamer. Secondly no need to defend my guild we do what we see as right some we let go, some we get a group to kill and in most cases where we have a roamer stupid enough to try solo a 20+ guild group we put him out of his misery. We never dance over corspe = thats just stupid behaviour. Thirdly this is war if I leave a roamer to take my camps then I cant upgrade and all the commanders here think the same I hv been stomped by viz and rs zerg trying to run round map do u see me crying on here … I know war and everyone will not shut their eyes to anyone unless it can lead to their own downfall.

I love commanding against Viz – with 50 in garrison and you still failed. It was close though – all gates broken, riverside water gate golems + Viz army south west gate – 25 north gate, 25 north west gate – while Desolation 16 organised players + 15 – 20 others. Luckily for us we got to upgrade the garrison during that approximately 1hr 30mins long fight.

Big Thank you to Kodash and Elona R for an amazing night of loot and laughter – we from the [CS] guild + Desolation defenders sure had some fun. From EB (stealing SM, Big fight at WC, Big under water fight twice, Big fight at klovan :P) to Deso BL (Fight everywhere loool) and also the the perseverance of ER in getting the garrison no matter how many times you were defeated but more gg to the Guys who stuck by me to taking it back. Good fun also outside bluebriar with the Unlimited Balistas <3

lets keep the spirit up – fine the match up is a bit sad but there is alot of fun still to come.

Ok sorry i am late with my post as i was too busy selling all the items i got yesterday i forgot to post this.

Good Fight yesterday from 7pm (GMT) to 11:30pm(GMT), we from the [CS] guild + the army of desolation defenders really had a blast. Good game to our opposition Scnd <3, AKGL <3, FrR <3, Meta <3, MOS <3 and the others.

I wont call it double teaming but strategic attacks from both Viz and BB really made me lose my voice commanding. Both towers taken by each and hard push on garrison on numerous occasions, at one stage the garrison had no gates and holes in walls due to trebbing from towers. I even had to spend 800gems to upgrade my inventory slots to hold more bag slots with the thanks of AOE looting.

It was a good evening, Lets keep this kind of game play up till the end of the week so we all can have a blast and move on with the random match ups.

Was fun this morning in Desolation – we hard a hard time but we loved the loot bags. We played the capping game with Viz good exp to top it off with a good fight with loads of glorious loot … unlucky BB at bluelake and hills … Mesmer portal into hills failed as we danced on corspe. No hard feelings its a tough but fun week.

I honestly want to say a big thank you to Viz and Jade Sea. I was a bit down when i saw the match up last friday that i would not be able to capture and keep something for my guild due to all the PvD. In the end it was a lovely week; the amount of loot bags and ranks i got in this week was incredible i even decided to make an alt to level him in WvW because of the ExP + WxP the servers where giving also plus Desolations outmanned buff. So thank you.

We had some amazing fights and some amazing steals. we had some sad wipes 10 – 15 vs 30- 35 but we had some amazing victories 20 stomping 35. If we happen to meet in the future again i will make sure i upgrade my inventory slots to hold more bags i promise.

But in the end.

I had fun playing against you guys & am sure you guys did too.

I agree with Axle on dropping the QQ and Blob talk. Like he stated everyone knows we don’t have the coverage and numbers like they have. I know if we had the numbers we will use it so no need to blame others for having numbers.

Well said on the later half of your post trydaichi. If it happens to be Anet’s fault due to it happening on all borderlands then it is cool. I just had to find out if it was an exploit which from the general message seems not to be (Anet still looking into the issue).

Looking forward to some more fights before the end of the week. Even if we are outmanned and I only have 10 players on me I will still knock on the door of Bay :P (Fighting spirit)

You cant be too sure; cause they pick up on this disconnection was too good to be true. BB straight to break garrison outer and camp the doors into the garrison with 15players each and have 10 players attacking the inner doors (North inner, North West inner). So all the desolation logging in back to the map got slaughtered straight at the doors trying to get into the garrison. which got captured without ease.

We talking about a random error which no one has gotten before. Did you all disconnect yesterday at bay? And for your information desolation does not have at any time 60 players on the borderlands (30 – 35 max) so stop counting shadows. If someone claims that Baruch Bay got the same disconnect at 11pm in their borderland also; and ANet confirms this then i rest my case on this issue. But if it happens to be someone exploiting it wouldn’t go down well.

Same problem on Baruch Bay Border, whole zone disconnected multiple times. Hope they fix it soon though, no way of running a normal raid when this errors occurs.

No one disconnected at all today and WvW has been fine. Just that one moment some minutes past 11pm. Every one got kicked to some unknown error. We sent a comprehensive post to Anet, To see if it is legit ord

Screenshots will never show the full dynamic of this fight. We fought as a guild group with exactly 25 people, and my guess would be that Baruch had around 35-40 people, but two different groups. [CS] were around 10-15, the rest was a random group with some DsD in it. Desolation had around 30-35 people too, but not all of them coordinated in one teamspeak I think.

That fight went on for about 15-20 minutes, and there was a lot of movement and flanking, splitting, trying to get a better position, engaging and disengaging.
Only a video would show the awesomeness.

Great fun for everyone, and best of all: no skill lags involved.

On the note of hacking TRUT or something similar just sent a warrior inside upgraded garison in desolation right now to teleport from water gate outer to water gate inner to kill me on the arrow carts – good game Kodash – practice what you preach!!

Thank you to the SFR guys who made my evening/night. After receiving command from [AFTL] we sure did have some good fights. E.g North Camp (TitanPaw); considering we were upgrading all our towers and garrison we had to be on alert to every bit of the map which was fun because we had some nice fights. Foghaven fight also – destroying the trebs built to assault Crag, Dreaming Bay we stole it right before you could take it – thanks to the DESO players who fought while the others captured it. The funniest bit was when we held of a 6 golem rush + 15bodies in DESO garrison with only 8-10 players. That for me made my night.

The numbers where some what equal yesterday evening on DESO BL so good job.

here is something you need to understand.

atm sfr is getting new peoples all the time and we have few commanders in eb sfr that push hard to give them fun some education we don’t blob 70+ we are running sometimes 30-40 sometimes when we meet heavy resistance yes we outnumber a bit at that moment it depends if we are doing 2v1 or fair 1on1.

mostly kodash and deso attack us same time one at ogre one at anza at that moment I get some to defend towers and I make 5 seconds wipes on you to make sure I do not lose a tower.

but in other situations I always split up zergs I get some to roam I get some to go borderlands keep the numbers below 45.

and eb is pug centered and many pve players that looking into some WvW and new comers mostly join there and I want to teach them so when I send them to borderlands they are educated they are strong they got the right stuffs they do not run under lvl 80 with masterwork sets lol-.-

and basically yes we keep the pichakus from borderlands so iddq/rise boom con and many guilds can que there.

You raise a solid point but i will tell you what i have noticed. You might say you do keep the numbers below 45 on EB. I try to command in DESO BL alot more than EB lately and for the past days it has been shocking. I wont exaggerate cause there is no point i see 35 – 50 players in the map. you even have enough to take camp, attack cragtop and 4 golem rush the garrison (btw golems build outside the garrison). Even if you do it in EB it doesn’t change what is happening round the other borderlands. I know deso fighting outmanned most times in our borders because SFR feels like capping everything 100%.

im not here complaining about you blobbing or not. You have the numbers so use it right.

If u see someone cheating, report him. No server is responsible for one mesmer’s hacks. If he actually hacked, no one likes him. Besides, I wouldn’t be too worried, u would have still had all night to take it back.

I have come across a teleporting Warrior on SFR before which i reported as well as reporting some one from desolation also. I have also seen some range hacks on ac on both servers and i think we should really stop this – if you win fair everyone is happy. And if any one is doing this or thinking about doing it on all 3 servers. Think twice. its not worth the stress of being caught and shamed. Most personally I like to confirm if it really is a hack before i report in some cases you can imagine how ridiculous it is. E.g Ac at water gate stairs inner garrison hitting the Upstairs Vista area inner (tried it and it doesnt work even with all ac skills maxed out), cheating should no way be allowed.

Sunnyhill is known for its bugged door. Sometimes you just walk through it with leaps, whirlwinds and teleports. If it happens just go up and jump away without touching anything inside.

We are creating a DEDICATED WvW squad within the guild. This squad will run separately from the casual Friday WvW siege nights. We are looking for serious players, who are ready to learn and improve on the WvW front. Our aim is to produce a coordinated battle force that can be effective in all situations. Thanks to SFR for the 30 against 5 [outmanned] Show down in Desolation Borderlands. Its good to see your players up and early camping our map. There is even little room for sniping with the 30 man Sniper team you guys are running right now.

I won’t be writing on this thread If it was the same group I met on each map. I have been reading this post from the start and have been leading the CLAW group plus others against your not present 40-50 man blob. I’m not one to complain but it’s stupid to even bring up things like we don’t blob and we don’t night cap that’s my point. There are better things to talk about on here than reading some lairs posting bs on here.

In conclusion – Every one blobs all the time including SFR, gratz to SFR for having dedicated WVW players to keep the man power up on each map now we other servers need to get ours up to. End off!!!
