What will happen to the pvp skins allready equiped by characters, if they remove the differentiation with pvp and pve skins?
My biggest question is what will happen to the skins in pvp. On my main I have t3 culturals in PvE and gems store armor in sPvP and I will be very mad is I lose either one of those.
I don’t mind if they start to require charges in pvp too but I hope it will not be the case
one simple answer: invisbag doesn’t have anykind of reaction to compact button. I have all the needed items there (weps, minis, extra set of harvesting tools) and then I have salvage kits and few other in the first slots of inventory which is kind of safe zone from compact too. Also I regularly check if I have anything valuable via TP sell window and all items I wanna salvage I do immediatly, so only things in my inv are prettymuch vendor items all the time
GW1 had tomes which you cuold unlock skills you had unlocked with pvp toons to pve toons, where in gw2 only interraction between spvp and pve/wvw in colours. We definetly need some more interraction between them so time in PvP isn’t totally wasted time to working up your PvE goals and vice versa. (I have been thinking somekind of link between glory and karma could be nice, or skillpoints and glory)
I see the reason we have no aspect arena being that it is teambased. All the ones we now have (i don’t know about kegbrawl tough never done it) are singeplayer based minigames. Besides aspect arena we lack the dragonball from dragon bash and the snowball thingy from winter. So I see it like they only bring the singleplayer focused minigames back
Actually the tournament system we have now rewards both paid and free tournament skins when you win, plus the echievement chest pvp rewards are tournament skins. Rarity is entirely based on which rank the skins are awarded, I’d say something like:
rabbit
deer/tournament (both free and paid)
dolyak
wolf
tiger
bear
shark
phoenix
dragon (not sure if anyone has gotten to there yet)
allright thanks! Then I just haven’t had luck of getting free token from those yet
So I was looking for some armors I’d like to use in pvp and stumbled upon liking Assasins medium armor, and did a bit research and found out that it is free tournament reward skin. Then I started wondering can I still get them somehow or are they gone for good now?
Since the tournament reward chest and the ones from achievements seem to give you content that was in paid tournament chest but I haven’t found anything giving you rewards of the free tourneys
How about fixing the horrid shoulder pad clipping for different body types before introducing new ones.
Or the shoulder pad float on so so many cases (sometimes very huge ones like there is few inches in between the shoulder and pad). And what comes to topic I don’t like oversized shoulders.
Effects are fine but even they are not my favourite (alltough in somecases they are just cool), and well I don’t like anything that is oversized (weapons, shoulders, back items…) stuff needs to be practical looking for me and if there is effects in something otherwise practical stuff I don’t mind them
Even tough story modes are unrewarding and not much played, I recently played through them all. If you can get 1 other ppl (friend, guildie, total random) and make post to gw2lfg (saying you need 3 more, and keep it refreshed) you should have full group in max 30mins. Atleast that was how it went to me when I went all storymodes with my friend. There is allways few guys who need to unlock exp mode
There is one way to make money with MF: do recipes which involve skillpoints. Few to make somekind of start: mystic weapons, upgrade cores to lodestones, and (not sure about this one, atleast involves bit of luck) do the mystic clover recipe and sell the materials you get from doing that (if you do the 10 clover recipe you can get multiple lodestones which atleast is big profit)
But yea unless you wanna use your precious skillpoints there is no money to be made with MF unless you are very lucky with precursor crafting etc
Now that the game is almost 1 moth away of being 1year old, has there been anyword if we are getting birthday presents for our characters like in gw1?
I just yesterday discovered that I had some unexplored caves shout of temple of balthazar so maybe that one (there goes one event to kill eye of zaithan in those caves)
As you are doing your first toon I’d suggest doing WvW (in case your server is active in it) and go there, as almost everything you do in WvW is counted as events leveling there is quite fast so join a zerk and you’ll lvl up quite fast. As far as hearts go they don’t actually give that much xp for time spend than doing events does.
Another alternative is doing dungeons (well AC particuar but any dungeon you can enter will do) as they give 70% of xp required to lvl as dungeon reward and you kill lot of stuff inside it is atleast almost a level per dungeon run
Crafting would be good option too but rather expensive, but still viable if you have gathered some materials be sure to craft them to get even little xp for that
Also keep in mind that finding anything new gets you a bit of xp so worst thing you can do is beat down mobs on a single area.

I’m not sure but that might be result of autoloot feature turned on (it is in the main settings window)
I have quite simple solution I use for this. Have a different chat tab for emotes and if you RP you can also include some chat for that tab so you may view it when you RP. But when you don’t wish to see them you can just put another tab on.
Personally I have following tabs: / All chats / guild & party / whispers / NPC talk and emotes /
Well I dont’t know about these 3 we have now (bells, horn flute) but if there ever comes quitar that is sure awesome for charr
Personally I want to create a spring themed sylvari and what would fit that better than cherry blossom hair? So that please, also some long hair resembling vines would be very good
As there was mention of speculated zephyrite fleet or floating city. I support that theory greatly, for one the landed ship is actually pretty kitten small to house even decent population. So I’m guessing that the landed ship is merely a trade vessel of much bigger community and in the major ships they have gardens etc to give them food.
New players do not need extra bag slots…LOL. So new players are not supposed to take crafting (good luck being a chef…), or hold onto anything they like the look of?
NOTHING excuses 20 gold for a single bag slot. I paid less than 3 for mine.
It’s called deposit collectibles to the bank. Those crafting material bank slots already provide more slots of storage than a new player would ever need. If you are actually crafting, then you never need more than a single stack of any material in order to max it out. This only affects players that hoard materials to sell on TP.
It is patently obvious that you have never done any cooking. Hell, it seems like you do not even know how it works on a basic level.
Also I love how you just dismiss new players holding onto anything.
I’ve maxed out all my crafting and made myself a bunch of 20 slot bags. I have never run into storage problems with the default bank spaces provided for crafting mats. I’ve also never spent any gems on bag or bank slots.
What would any new player need with 250 of any cooking ingredients? By the time they reach that point, they wouldn’t be new anymore.
100% confirmation you have never done cooking. The ingredients you MAKE, which are a lot, cannot be deposited. I seriously pity a new player who wants to cook.
Oh and 20 slot bags? You really think new people can afford that?
I have maxed cooking (and all other crafts) without buying extra slots. Seems you are only dumb at crafting and make tons of those ingredients, it is no problem to calculate how much of them you need to make a final product and then sell the product to TP to get little money back and save some space. Even now I have bought couple of extra bank slots during this year (1st in jan and 2nd in april) and it really wasn’t that much of gold for the space you get. Also the reason to by extra slots was mostly dungeon tokens and by the time you have lot them you aren’t exactly new player anymore. Also I still have no extra bag slots and don’t even see any point in getting them
