All we’ve done is smurf which is a problem but the creator of this post is also doing it so why should people play on their mains to q into kat/tokers alts where it means nothing to them if they lose but we lose rating on our mains? If everyone wants to play on their mains and winning/losing is equal to all of us that’s fine with me.
Anet, If you want to have someone managing the leader boards and smurfs i’m sure there are plenty of people in the community that will help you including Jeff and I.
Why is there a condi skill in the middle of a build that appears to be for direct damage. D/P has shadow shot and a daze for its 3 and 4 skill while d/d has nothing useful in those slots. Also, all of the sword builds require 3 spam and constant porting… d/p and shortbow are the only well made builds that are good and fun to play.
I really enjoyed the stress test. The quality of the story and content looks great. The boss fight was cool but it was too easy. That might just be for beta though because we defeated it with about 20 revenents. Overall the Idea of the expansion is great and I hope it keeps going in the same direction.
Revenent is way to strong. They can have gods really? Oh they can swap utilites too? Wtf Anet? Why can’t my engi have gods? Oh maybe it’s cuz you need to xpack to be good. I swear if i loose 1 fight to a revenet im gonna rage so hard. Even if i am a revenent cuz i’m better than eveybody else so his build would be stronger than mine and it would need a shave. Also buff my engi plz I can hit jack kitten. I hope you use my feedback cuz i know my kitten.
The main game doesn’t cost $50 unless you want the extras so no i doubt that it will be $50, I would look at pricing probably a little less then what the main game is. While this is a decent size expansion with many (or at least seemingly) innovative features it is not as massive as the main game itself. I don’t think they would be pricing it at the same level since they need it to sell. They could have 2 or 3 different tiers (the have 2 for the main game normal/deluxe) but again there would be difference prices. $35.00 i think would be probably top mark as far as pricing goes. Any higher then that and people will expect alot more.
The game was a $60 preorder and went down l ike $10 a year. As long as you don’t go over $60 on an expansion or game you’ll make more prophet. The wow expansion $50 The guild wars 1 expansions $50. It’s just how you price games
HoT will most likely be kitten price. When your marketing an expansion the majority of the people that would by it at $20-30 would pay 50. If you sell 5-10% less copies at 50 your still making about 40 more prophet.
Hey, so im running windows 10 tech preview as a tester, Gw2 worked great until the recent build for the tech preview. Everything that can run on windows 8 runs on tech preview so It’s not compatible is not the answer cuz it worked with the earlier build. Does When i launch I get a black screen like normal but then no character select screen shows up but i still get the music. Then if i ctrl-tab-delete out and go to task manager it says gw2 not responding, but i still have the gw2 mouse and i cant do anything so i sign out to get rid of it. Anyone know what the problem is?

I understand that you don’t want to let people down if you end up not doing it. You don’t need to be specific though. I think we all know that you guys have thought about new regions, continent, weapons, classes, skills and you know roughly when its coming out but you want space to tell us things.
You dont even have to tell us that just say like "gw2 expansion 2015 or expansion sized stuff 2015. or something. We heard a year ago that theres a big gw2 project cooking in the background. The kitten is that supposed to mean u put it on a stove and your cooking it? We don’t even know wtf your talking about. Has it come out yet was it the feature pack. Excuse me if im wring but big projects for anet are adding buttons to interfaces.
My predictions is theres gonna be an expansion after season 2 thats why its so long or maybe u guys just feel like a 6 month break. Plz take a vacation after an expansion.
Hey, The only thing that separates some games from esports to games like LOL is viewers. Here’s an idea to get some viewers. Obviously you want people that don’t have Gw2 yet to come check it out. So go get a popular twitch streamer rent out his channel for a few hours and boom you got 20k viewers instead of using DPS’s bad channel that’s not even partnered with twitch.
So some of my animations are all weird like Mass Invis or Necro wells. Is this a problem with my graphics card or drivers or something heres a pic of mass invis.

Is this the World Cup? Common guys. This is a video game. Like every other game it has a skill cap and this games skill cap is higher than most that’s why I like it. The only reason teams win is cause they have better rotations,comps, and know what to do. All 32 players are at there end of story. Id say there’s another 500 on top of that, that just don’t play on a team.
So we know each team is gonna have a month to practice and the teams should be all equal. How I will vote is look who has dedicated the most time to the community. I mean common guys if it wasn’t for him this event probably wouldn’t even happen nor TOL 2. The only reason TOL 2 happened was cause Blu did such a good job hosting it and got 250 sign ups.
So quit saying you want the best players in the game at the tournament cause there’s simply not “10” best players. He gets paid $0 dollars for doing this yet hes the only one with a few other that keeps Competitive PvP alive. If he quit everything would go in the toilet.
So he is just as good as everyone else and dedicates the most time shouldn’t he go?
