We al know celestial ele an engi are the meta right now, they must be tweaked but not nerfed. I propose the following:
Most of the eles damage comes from might stacking, i suggest to either remove the blast finisher that was added to dagger water #3 or to remove the blast finisher from evasive arcana attuned to earth. The two of them combimed stack too much might, this way only the ele get tweaked and the other classes do not get their might stacking nerfed.
For engineer, I think it will be good to make certain skills more obvious.
First one is Incendiary Power, it should work like this: 100% chance to get incendiary power on ur next attack after you crit someone, this will add an icon similar to sigil of doom. This will make it dodgable plus, because it will be on the next attack, grenades or other multiple hit attacks wont bypass this rule.
The other thing i would like to see nerfed is Overcharged Shot. The two options to tweak it are imo:
Give it the same treatment as Rangers Point Blank Shot, in order to make it dodgeabke.
The other one is to increase the cooldown to make it more rewarding to dodge and less forgiving to miss.
Let me know what you POV is on these proposals and if it could improve the current meta.

A few days ago I had a soloQ pop for legacy of the foefire map, as soon as I entered i got a dc. I tried logging in again about 6 times and everytime the same issue, when i finally could go back into the game the match was over.
Just a minute ago I had the exact same issue on the same map. Anyone knows what it is? I am really frustratred cause of this.

Ive wanted to get some avian shoulders for my thief for a while now, and i noticed there are 3 versions of it on the TP for the 3 armor types. Now the thing is, when I bought my set of fused gauntlets a while ago, it unlocked the skin for all armor types. Since it has exactly the same.description as the fused gauntlets I assumed they would nlock for all armor types, and ofcourse I know assuming things isnt good,.but afterall, thats how the fused gauntlets were working. So the avian shoulder skin does not unlock for all armor types which let me quite surprised, also because I just wasted 50 gold on those things.
So my question is, can you please give us a warning that it doesn’t unlock for all 3 armor.types like similar items do (fused gauntlets). Or let them unlock all 3 armor types.

About 5 months ago i bought a set of perplexity runes and put them on my wvw gear, knowing i could get them off by transmuting the runes to another set. Nowadays with the warderobe system the runes are just lost and I’m just waiting untill we can finally get those runes off wvw armor. So can we please get an update on this? I would really like to know if the team is working on this.
P.S. If you respond with “buy an upgrade extractor” I won’t take you serious anymore.
Hit and run style fits the warrior because the only weapon that allows this is the greatsword, and the greatsword is a dps weapon. Glass canon warriors will be completely useless when they nerf the greatsword mobility to not be able to kite with and i dont want my playstyle on warrior nerfed which is not broken at all on a glass canon warrior, only because its broken on other builds, then nerf the other builds, not mine.
an evade could be too strong, but 20% chance is just RNG and i dont like that so i would go with the first bullet removes a boon so it is dodgeable and not like IP which u cant dodge.
sorry to say this but, you’re the kind of thief that everyone hates to fight, being in stealth 24/7 and never playing agressive, THO i did enjoy the video.
First, im not here to tell arenanet how to change unload, im just saying what i think would be a step in the right direction.
How the skill works right now, it deals damage from range, leaving the thief extremely vulnerable. If the thief would use said unload + blackpowder it would cost too much init.
Lets take a look at the nr3 skills on other weapon sets.
S/d has evade-damage-boon steal, s/p has stun-evade-damage, shortbow has evade-cripple, d/p blind/gabcloser/damge and d/d has evade-bleeds tho the evade on this one is very unreliable. They all have some form of defense on low initiative cost + damage.
So i think all that has to be added is is a defensive effect on this skill, like an evade frame, or the first bullet blinds AoE or useable while dodging as sugfested on another thread in thief forums.

This thread doenst really work because builds, people say ele requires alot skill in pvp but d/d is so easy right now, but when u play scepter/x its does require a lot of skill. Same goes for mesmers, play easymode PU or shatter whih requires more skill. Man, this even counts for wriors, going full glass ishigh risk but high reward while your typical hambow doesnt require much skill. In team fights thieves might be hard to kill, sure, but its very hard for them to be effective while still surviving and dealing good damage.
i have 60 fps when im in open world and not many people around on nearly highest settings and i have a gtx550 but the thing is, i drop to 6 fps when im doing a world event like jormag or a big wvw battle. Even on lowest settings. What part of my pc do i have to upgrade to impove the performance in these situations?
i dont have much knowledge about these things so simple language would be really appreciated.

I have 1 ascended cavalier ring and im thinking to swap it out for a soldiers ring, but now is the question what will do more damage on a crit? cause soldiers has some more power but cavalier has some ferocity but since nowadays ferocity isnt as important as power i doubt it will be that much more.
yes, dont go p/d, its such a lame spec i just cant bring it in words. just go d/d or d/p or s/d all fine. and those last options are also better for pve.
Eles have lowest healthpool, lowest armor tier, they rely on active defenses like mist forn so when they are doing something like stomping they cant defend themselves. Warriors and guardians on the other hand could pop stability and just take all the damage and be fine where the ele would be down.

First, i dont blame pve pmayers for this, i really dont and it would be idiotic if i did. And second, the armor from wvw badges wasnt salvageable before the achievement chests.

None of these mentioned, go 1-0-3-0-3 pick up mug, cloaked in shadows, shadows embrace and shadows rejevenution. Fot trickery uncatchable, bountyful theft and sleigt of hand.
With this setup ur steal will heal u, poison ur target, interupting ur target applying confusion, remove 2 boos and gain vigor and that on a 20s cooldown while u regen 300 healt per second in stealth, removes condis in stealth and blind foes when entering stealth.

The time thieves could do this there was an issue in wvw called Culling, this means that enemy players are often not visible from far away and it often looked like they just spawned out of nowhere. this was because the system couldnt load them fast enough. Thieves could use this culling to be invisble even when already out of stealth for 1 second.
then those players are very bad and all geared for full dps it seems, thieves crush glass players in wvw especially if they are not good. People have learned how to play against thieves so it’s probably not possible anymore unless u meet a group of squishy unexperienced people.
As a thief stealth player and a d/d elementalist i have to say this is so true
when running the perma prot spec u can barely be harmed, there are too many random aoe attacks going on that hurt the thief alot. I have had so much trouble killing d/d eles on my thief in wvw duels but the other way around, it was easy.

Difference is that warrior cc skills all have insane animations, meanwhile deatshroud #3 has no cast-time and can only be dodged with luck. Staff #5 also poor animation.

I have played around since patch with both condition specs and direct damage specs on multiple classes and the nerf is more like 35% than 10% so i think tahat it shpuld be buffed to 14 ferocity= 1% crit damage cause right now it is too low.
We all know that it did not “fix” the zerker meta in pve and it only brought bad balance in wvw so why not buff it? The damage nerf that was supposed to bring balance in pve has failed so now make it right again and buff it.
Can you please put some of the townclothets back into the gemstore that are no longer available like the executionor skin? I am sure alot of people now want this alot more cause its just more usefull now!
Thing is, you can no longer make them. I got the helm from PvP, the body is available throughout the story line somehow, then why not just introduce the whole set. There must be at least 1 way to obtain them somehow.
Please Arenanet, now that they are no longer PvP only you can no longer obtain them but god I love them and I want them! Please make them available in PvE!

warriors can, shatter mesmers can but its harder, d/d 0-0-10-30-30 elementalist with a right gear setup is a nightmare for a stealth thief due to high hitting random aoes and too much protection to get hit hard and the stustain. condi engineer builds(perplexity if ur looking for easymode) meditation guardian> no meditation guardian should lose to a stealth thief, necro if u stop their black powder + hs combo. thief can do it with alot of specs, OR just learn to play? if u dont want to learn to play just run away when and ignore his blackpowder+hs, if u have some toughness u wont 1 hit you with backstab and if he keeps stackign stealth he cant keep up with you. if he can ur probably not using the right build to roam. btw dont go ranger for gods sake.
the lagg is only in gw2, i tried other games, youtube videos, internet sites. everything works exept guildwars 2.

from a WvW perspective:
i mained warrior from launch of the game till june 2013 and in my first period of wvw i didnt like fighting thieves until i made one myself and played it for a long time. i learned how the class works etc etc and i srsly love dueling thieves more than anything. thieves can sometimes be unpredictable while noobs are very predictable while on the other hand you have necros whith skills with barely an amination that put all condis on you except confusion. warriors that can face roll everything without having to think about anything exept using their burst skills frequently, condis overall and stupid tanks. i play shatter mesmer, d/d ele and thief on s/d and d/d.
now what i seriously dont understand is why litteraly all people i see posting on forums say that they hate to duel thieves the most. like the post in the thief forums saying “dont you just hate thieves?”. what do you not hate? unreadeable skills? you can at least predict a thief’s next movement and if not that u can punish him when he comes out of stealth with fast reactions.

So after patch how will this work? you can only equip armor from your order? it seems like you cant really transmute it into something account bound anymore..
actually staff-gs is a very good combination, i dont know how to make a build with into the mists and stuff but i can type it out for you:
full berserker, traveler runes, sigils of energy on both staff and gs.
traits 20-20-0-0-30, mind wrack 20% more damge, halting strikes , manupaltion skills longer range, clone on dodge, 3% more damage per clone, bouncing attacks do an additional bounce, shatter effect on yourself.
you can do massive burst with gs 2 when standing next to an enemy then shatter ur illuusions, the skills will hit 3x due to the extra bounce trait, same counts for staff auto attack.
hope this helps u, skills are that blue one with a mask on it for the heal xD, decoy, blink, arcane thievery and massa invis.

first 2 are after, second 2 are before, for example the fur on the back used to hang smooth on the back of the character, now it floats 20cm off the back of the character. These were the only shoulders that looked smooth on norn with heavy armor, now its no more.
Why? Why do you make good looking armor pieces into kitten like this? Is this intended? I know you somehow fixed the way it looks on Sylvari but you ruined it for the Norn. Thnx alot!

Arenanet doenst roam in wvw so they will NEVER understand that pve and wvw are 2 different things and now they are thinking: critical damage is not important in zergs but what about roamers? thats the most fun pvp mode atm and since its a PVP mode it shouldnt be balanced around a dungeon that is too easy to complete in full berserker gear.
as a berserker gs/axe-shield warrior, my mobility and my 2 dodges are my only defense. take that away from me because its stronger on other builds isnt right, nerf other things but not the mobility! dont make certain builds unplayable cause 1 thing is too strong on 1, yea 1 kittening build.
today i dueled with a warrior for quite some time and he told me that all classes are almost on par right now but it just feels so much harder on elementalist than on some other classes. so is elementalist underpowered or do i just suck?
Since launch alot of people have wondered why they could get the body part of the stalwart armor set through personal story, but all the other parts ( which look all really really good, and id definitly take some on my 80 ranger and engineer and thief) are unobtainable and allready quite some posts have been made about this problem.
Now i’d like to know, are you guys gonna add the rest of these armor sets in pve or will we be sitting with only 1 part of each set? I would love to get an answer to this so im hoping for a dev to pass by.
